"Then why all the pauses?"

"...What do you eat?" Melissa asked, tilting her head innocently like Isaac just gave a tired groan.  

[Zahzi]

".........What about them..?"

"Blood of the fallen."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"It makes it rather hard to believe you."

". . .What?" Both of the siblings asked.  

[Zahzi]

".................Whyyyyyy..?"

"Blood of the fallen."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Because it shows you have to think about your answers. About your lie."

"...I... I..."

"So lemme get this straight. You DRINK the blood of your enemies..?" Isaac asked, his tone hinting towards some irritation.  

[Zahzi]

"..........Nooooooooooooooo..."

"Not drink. Absorb." Zudah said, answering Isaac in an attempt to calm his master.

The demon he had killed before had not only been killed, but the blood from the demon had been sucked dry by the blade as it entered...

"Zaaaaaaahzzziiiiiiiiiiiii.."

"What the Hell do you mean by absorb?!"  

[Zahzi]

"What?"

"I cannot make it anymore simpler than that."

"You're lying to me."

"Then explain it!"  

[Zahzi]

"Nope."

Zudah did not respond. He had by now lost interest in responding to Isaac.

"Liar."

"Answer me!"  

[Zahzi]

"So says the wimp...."

There was no reply.

"You're the one who's CLEARLY not being honest."

"Answer me, you little freak!" Isaac barked, frustrated.

Zahzi just looked away, whistling....

Zudah looked back at Isaac with an eyebrow raised, looking down at him as well, as if saying, without talking, 'Little..?'

He then returned his gaze forward.
