Batsu_da_toilet_thief I just bought all of Tenchi Universe complete collection. It has Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi in Tokyo, and the ova and the movies so its pretty sweet. cheap too ^___^ Did you get the special edition with the banners and little Azaka and Kamidake thingies? Cheap, you say? O__o Where do you buy your anime? Oh, and Tenchi Muyo! is the OVA. Saying that it came with Tenchi Muyo, TiT, and the ova is redundant. >__> I am sure you mean it came with Tenchi Universe, Tit, and the OVA.

I go both ways, I like both, sometimes its better to watch it Subed, becasue theres always something they leave out, but Dubed is easyer when its on my TV, and m in the Kitchen, so i can understand them.

Yeah that's why DVDs are awesome....they give you BOTH. It's nice to have dubbed so you can listen to it for some background noise....but subbing often times gives you better voices and a little better translation

r-chan09 When I was watching it on Toonami of course having it in english was good, but now that I have watched various series with horble dubbs I began to like subs. So which one to you prefer to watch Tenchi Muyo? Sub or Dub I prefer dubbs, cause I prefer to watch and hear my animes not read them, lol, I like to watch anime to watch, I like read manga to read, but when I want to watch anime I prefer to watch it not to read it lol thats why I love dubbs, if the dubb is crappy like Naruto, I just won't watch it......

Get this:
I put the language on English and put subtitles on. Bang.
Whether I sub or dub is a case-by-case basis. For example, Cowboy Bebop has an excellent dub, but if you have any intent of enjoying One Piece, subs are the only way to go!

I love that anime so much and I agree it needs to be in the purest of forms.

I fell in love with subs when I was forced to watch the last episodes of FMA in Japanese because the english versions hadn't been released yet.
And then...
I watched the Tenchi OVA in Japanese...I switched it to English just to hear it...
The English voices annoy me. Plus, I'm learning Japanese so subs help me all that much more!

i'm not really into dubbed anime, but i think they did a good job with tenchi muyo. i really liked the english voice actors. tenchi muyo's lucky it didn't get butchered the way naruto did. O_O
