Reedmist smiled at his apprentice. "Good; now go clean out the Elder's Den, and bring them and the queens prey to eat. After that, you may do as you like until I get you." Walks off to start organizing patrols.

Wolfpaw nodded and left the group to perform his task. Wolfpaw returned to the camp with moss and fresh-kill in his mouth, he padded to the elder' den to replace the old moss with the new. After he did that he went into the nursery with left over prey he had caught from not to long ago "here you go" he said dropping the fresh-kill at the queens' paws.

Sugarleaf had been laying quietly in her nest, Cinderkit, Rainkit, and Shadowkit curled up at her side sleeping silently. With a purr so soft she laid her head down on her kits bodies and soon fell asleep. Afterall this was the last night she would have to spend with them before they became apprentices the next morning.

the next day was great,Cinderkit was now Cinderpaw, Shadowkit was Shadowpaw, and Rainkit was Rainpaw. Snowstar padded next to Sugarleaf and Rainpaw, her new apprentice."lets go to the shadowclan border they have been pushing on the borders." snowstar told the rest of the group."Rainpaw run ahead and see if you can smell the border".she told the young apprentice.

Reedmist was organizing some patrols, waiting for his apprentice to wake up.

(time warp. one year. kits are now apprentices and apprentices are now warriors)

Reedmist looked around the clearing, spotting his former apprentice as he sunned himself while he dozed.

Wolfclaw crept around in the warriors den until he came upon his sleeping mentor, "hey! can we go hunting sometime today?" he asked his former mentor.

Stretching his limps one at a time, Reedmist answered Wolfclaw. "Sure, I already organized the patrols last night." Head made his way with Wolfclaw out of camp.

Wolfclaw caught a glimpse of the sun rising over the tree tops and onto the forest, the young warrior yawned remembering how tired he was from waking up so early. He turned to his friend flicking his ear when a rain drop fell from a tree leaf "hey do you think that Thunderlclan still owns the Sunningrocks even though they were rightfully ours?" the tom needed to start an conversation with Reedmist.

"Of course," The RiverClan deputy huffed, "It's only those fish-brained ThunderClan fools who believe Sunning Rocks belong to them."

Wolfclaw remembered something funny when Reedmist mentioned the word "fish." "I still can't stand fish." He chuckled.
