Esmeria had that look of not sure whether to give a heavy sigh or a shot of annoyed glare, this voice, no matter how important it played itself out to be was slowly tugging at her nerves. What right did it have to play with their lives like they were some pieces in a chess game: win or lose, as long it was amused. That was the feeling in her, whilst she waited (somehow still atop the dragon), for the other's response.

"Well, seeing as we entered the fog at different points yet somehow landing relatively close...you'd think the same would be with this portal. Unless..that..whatever thing, want's to mess with us again with another 'test' of some kind."

"You will all appear in the safety of others, and together."

"...Rather simple..." Adrian grunted before giving a shrug.
"Whatever..." he sighed, limping towards the portal.

"Fine..." Omazige replied, doing the same, without limping.

"Fine then." Tabari turned to Celtor, climbing onto his back once more in front of Esmeria, seeming to take no notice of the extra company. She was sure they'd all come together on the other side of this portal (they did last time), but Tabari could never shake the feeling of doubt that something may happen and they may get separated. If it did happen, she wanted increased chances of staying with her beloved companion.

"Come on, boy." She kicked her feet into his sides, snapping his attention from the pitiful wound on his feet. "Through the portal."

Celtor groaned, unamused by the new portal and slowly got onto his feet. He walked towards it casually, having no limp unlike the thief and templar.

As they went through the portal, all would go black once more, before light shined upon them again, but this time indoors, and out of danger.
Indeed, they were brought to the Nexus.

"It is good you all arrived. And still in one piece." A voice called from behind them, belonging to a blind woman.

Omazige just stared at her in silence, while Adrian, being the p***k that he was, began looking up and down at her...

Upon entering the dark room filled with bright symbols, Tabari was in awe by the strange beauty. She looked curiously and slowly around the room, unable to recognize the symbols and writing made by the light, let alone make sense of what their purpose was.

Celtor had been a bit more cautious than his master, and immediately stopped once they appeared in the room. The strange lights had caught his attention, but more in the sense of not understanding. He remained put where he appeared, stretching his neck out to sniff at the lights, gaining no scent and becoming even more unwary of the lights.

When the woman appeared, the dragon snapped his neck back in surprise. A low growl rumbled in his throw for a few moments as he turned himself so he and Tabari faced the blind lady. He glanced at the others, who seemed to be alright with her, so he ended his growl.

"What is this place?" Tabari asked in a daze, her eyes still on the writings and drawings, taking no notice when Celtor moved a claw at Adrian's feet and swiped the Thief's feet, making him fall over.

"This is the Nexus." The Woman told her as Adrian fell over, swearing once again.
"This is a Haven. An Oasis in the horrid land of Bolietaria."

Omazige seemed to be more focused on who else was in the Nexus..

Danaerys eyed the newcomers suspiciously from a particularly dark spot in the room. Her wild green eyes darting from person to person. She took a deep whiff of the air and associated their scents before sighing internally. She soon would not be able to follow others scents, as she was adjusting to becoming once again fully human. She made eye contact with the Templar and her eyes narrowed and her shoulders hunched. She had learned to keep her mouth closed and to refrain from snarling when displeased.

Xena calmly looked around. She was beginning to get her senses back and knew that she should be more on edge. She sniffed and caught the newcomers scents. It was a good sign. As much as she enjoyed the ability to speak with humans other than Danaerys, she missed the relief she felt when howling on a dark starlit night. She nuzzled Danaerys and, inaudibly to the others, said "Nice. Be." She was unsure of how a human would have spoken, though she knew Danaerys would understand. Wolves thought on more simple terms.

The blind woman, known as the Maiden in Black, looked to the dark part of the room they were in.
"It is not nice to growl." she told her, as Omazige began looking around the area as well.

"You will find that the Nexus is more than just a singular room, but a small facility to see to your needs. Eating, Sleep, even merchants are here."

"What of Priests and Mages?"

"Ah, yes. They as well reside. On opposite sides of the Nexus, lest they begin a fight."

"Good...The less fighting the better..." he said aloud, before looking at Danaerys, quizzically behind his helmet.

Danaerys stiffened at the voice. She had thought she had kept that growl in. Apparently she had to keep herself more in check. She looked back to the templar wearily and she readjusted the bangle on her right upper arm. Her dark colored armor may not have been fool proof, but it covered the chest and abdomen well and was shaped to her. She was very curious as to why the templar had managed his way here. She gently shook her head and ruffled the neck of Xena's fur, earning a pleased grumble.

Xena had taken a nice look around but kept looking back to the dragon. Xena remembered that as a pup, she had always been a tad jealous of dragons. They had all the power of dire wolves, plus the ability to fly. She was curious as to what Celtor was like, after all, he was the only other non humanoid here. After receiving a healthy amount of scratching on her neck, she stood on her paws and stretched. As a direwolf, she was very large and had the capability to use magic. She walked up to Omazige and gave his chest a long sniff. She turned her head to the side and took a longer sniff to smell the rest of his "group". What appeared to almost be a smile on her grew before she did the unthinkable.
"Well, Hello then"

Omazige stared down at the wolf in disbelief, but said nothing.
Hell, the woman nearby was riding a dragon, which before today, he had believed were all hostile....Open-mindedness began far long before that, too..

"....Did that wolf just ******** talk, or did that damn dragon give me head trauma?" Adrian asked, pointing at the wolf.

"I would prefer you call me by my name. It is Xena". Xena spoke two or three words at a time, the sentence sounding a little broken. She was a wolf after all. She then put on what looked like a wild grin.
"Do I make you nervous?" The question was obviously directed at the theif.

Danaerys had silently walked over. She was being cautious of those around her. She stood to the right of her wolf and placed a hand on Xena's shoulders shaking her head. The wolf obviously enjoyed tormenting people.

As the Maiden in Black described the Nexus to the group, Tabari's attention finally snapped away from dazzling lights and scribbles and to the woman.

"A.. A Haven..?" She repeated softly. "So there's others here. A-Are there..." She paused, her face growing dark as she struggled with words. It's a stupid question.. A voice growled in her head. don't even bother.

"...Are there any.. Survivors from the first appearance of the fog?" Her voice was low and in a whisper, her face growing stiff as she wanted to keep a blank expression.

After Adrian 'suddenly' fell over, Celtor had also started to look around the room and the others with them. It was hard not to feel and notice the surprised, cautious, and dumbfounded eyes upon him. People always had these reactions, and they usually lead to aggression. He and Tabari had worked out a routine where he'd hide off outside of towns, just to avoid the trouble. But this place was different. There would be no hiding here. Luckily though, everyone seemed to hold their weapons.

To a bit of his delight, Celtor noticed he wasn't the only non-human creature in the room. Though it was only a wolf, it was at least another four legged creature. Something to relate to, in the animal way. Celtor tilted his head curiously at the wolf as she tried to avoid staring at him, but her eyes kept returning. It was a bit amusing, which made him go into a laughing fit (which sounded like light coughs).

When the wolf approached and spoke to the little group though, Celtor tilted his head in the other direction. This was definitely not another a creature of the wild like he was. Not anymore..
Even with his eyes locked on the furry creature, Celtor managed to flick the side of Adrian's head with one claw for his question.

"Survivors..? Yes, there were a good number that were able to find their way here." The Maiden told her, looking behind her at one of the circling ******** style="color: green">"Not as nervous, as curious as to why you are speaking." Omazige replied in his usual monotonous tone.
"Are you a spirit, or a conclusion of magic?"

Danaerys narrowed her eyes at the Templar. What sort of question was that? To her dismay, however, Xena did not keep her mouth shut.

"It is a combination of things really. Just outside of the fog, where most figure there is a fine line between in and out, there are a few stray... hmm" she looked to Danaerys. They seemed to have some sort of connection.
"Ah, yes. Whisps? They don't mix too well with magic apparently. So, my being a direwolf, explaining my size and abilities with magic, and Dany" she received a glare at the nickname "having been with me at the time, had a very.. odd reaction so to speak. We ended up in each others bodies. We've switched back, though some of our... umm" Danaerys gave her a flat, exasperated look. "abilities so to speak are taking their time returning. Soon I will be a wild and free creature again, and Dany will have her voice back, not that she used it all that often before anywa-ow!"

Danaerys growled at Xena and swatted her abnormally large head before slowly walking towards the dragon, slowly and respectfully as she did not want to offend the great beast. She was very curious as to if dragons could understand wolf tongue and vice versa. She approached slowly and lowered her head, keeping eye contact yet showing respect. She had always loved dragons, though she had only met one other in person.

(( Edited. Sorry Lady. ^^; ))

"Really?" Tabari immediately perked up, her face brightening up with hope. Not even questioning the fact the Maiden was pointing out the direction with her eyes while she was clearly blind, Tabari looked over her shoulder and saw the circling stairways. She slid herself off of Celtor's back, seeming to take no notice of the roughness of his scales rubbing on her skin as she went down too harshly.

As the silent human approached, Celtor straightened his head and stared back into their eyes. He could tell she was nervous, cautious. People always were. He was just glad to not see any sort of aggression, like most had in the back of their hearts and mind.
He snorted lightly at her as she bent forward, sending a light puff of hot air from his nostrils. His lips curled back in what appeared to be a smile, which was most likely offset by his carnivorousness teeth.

Celtor perked his head up slightly as he felt a sudden loss of weight upon his back. He glanced up his shoulder, seeing only the silent royal remained. He looked around on the other side of himself, seeing his master make a run of the stairs. He made a low toned and quiet roar for her (calling out her name for those who could possibly understand), but she did not listen and was busy running up the stairs. Celtor snorted in irritation as he sat his rear down, letting gravity slide the royal off his back so that he could follow Tabari up the stairs.
