The Breakdown.
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (November 1st)
With all the trailers, knowledge of the quality, dedication, and work Naughty Dog puts into their games make me know this game will be solid. However, the bar is set really high from U2, I think it will be a mix of "allowing" it to be good and not allowing it to be as good as U2.
My guess:
9.5/10
Resistance 3 (September 6th)
Played the game for about 4 days.
Story was bland, ending was even moreso. Multiplayer sucked. Huge stepdown from R2.
5/10
Dark Souls (October 4th)
Good game, hard game. Hard to find motivation to play it, due to lack of direction at points, and hardness. Satisfying gameplay.
8/10
NHL 12 (September 13th)
Be A Pro "revamped" into sucking. Be a Legend is just a reskinned Be a Pro, can no longer play full games, have to wait for crappy sim, laggy strategy system, and terrible SP to MP stat tracking/boosts. It's NHL 11 but worse, all aside from shootouts. I'd stillplay 11 if people still did, too. Still anticipating an update "sometime in October"
4/10
Assassin's Creed Revelations (November 15th)
Looks so good. Altiar with a story and gameplay he deserved in the first game, the attachment to Ezio, and Desmond. Builds off of the cool (but flawed) multiplayer system makes it a sure improvement. Recruiting assassins is back, along with other gameplay refinements. With story holes filled in the 3 assassin's lives, this is bound to be a great game.
9/10
A CHALLENGER APPEARS
Batman: Arkham City (October 18th)
Good game. The voiceactors from B:tAS reprise their rolls. Serveral famus villians pop up in good roles, other smaller and rather "meh" the seperate costumes are awesome, but the challenges leave something to be desired. "Beat up deeze d00ds in waiz or time limit" is essentially just what you do in open world anyway. Sidequests are entertaining and fun, so is overall gameplay. Battle system is great, easy to get in to, hard to master, and you can feel yourself getting better, also, you feel like batman as you fight. IT's purely SP, which I'm usually not a fan of, and has a lot of little things to do on the side which i usually don't feel the desire to get'/complete, but this game doesn't do that for me. I'm sure I'll get into challenges more, and with other DLC (although i feel it should be included in the actual game) I look forward to using Nightwing.
9/10
Bit.Trip Saga (September 13th)
Did not get.
Mario Kart 7 (December)
I will love this game.
I will get good at this game.
I will get owned by this game.
I will hate this game.
8/10
Super Mario 3D Land (November)
Looks dope. I'm trying not to find out too much about it so i'll be surprised. A lot of good things from what I see coming. Cool 3D puzzles, (now)classic gameplay, and TANOOKI SEWTS make this game promising.
9.5/10
Kid Icarus: Uprising (November)
I am not getting this game.
Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater (2012)
Probably not getting this game.
Animal Crossing (2012)
I don't know much about this game.
GW2 (2012)
9.5/10
That is all.
And that's how I feel this games are gunna turn out/turned out.
Silly rating games before they come out, maybe, but that's how i anticipate them.
