She'd tumbled into the petite baku who apologized as soon as they collided. Eh- ain't a worry, Xiu. That was ma'fault. Right away she moved to help Xiu get steadily back on her feet. Don't know what just came 'over me... coughin' up a storm 'somethin' fierce. She gave a small chuckle keeping her expression positive. What had indeed come over her. She'd need to keep a better handle on this cough of hers.

Before she could say another word, she heard another of her peers giggle. The giggle grew closer... and closer... till in bounded right into her. Ack-! The blonde ghoul seemed apologetic when she continued on her stumble into ... West. Her manner of speaking sure was funny and she could only make out an apology through the bits and pieces that made sense to her. Smirking, the tatzel hollered over to the ghoul. Don't mind' 'im none. 'I'm sure he'd dun been in tha' way. kekekeke~

Out of the corner of her eye, she'd spotted Holly offering over her chair. Levi took a moment to wink at the ghoul and suggestively nod her over. She wanted to investigate this ghoul and her new manner of speech.

He took her hand and gave a good shake, showcasing the zombie's death grip in a minor fashion that nonetheless belied his stickish figure. "Hi hi, Taryn. Nice meet!" Mort said with a little smile. "Play Scario Kart? Or other vidyo games? Got lots in room." Most of which had been unpacked, unlike other non-essentials, like clothes, books, and other room accessories. "N' what kinda music like?"

Really he had thought of the last question upon spying Tahki's headphones. He wanted to ask her this too while they were at it, but the poor gryphon had bumped into Ulmuka on her attempt. Realy, he did want to help.

It was just that, well, helping involved moving. Through that throng. And while zombies were kinda used to mass groups and moving through them, Mort was still self-conscious about his own failure and preferred to draw as little attention to himself as possible.

At the long-tailed ghoul's nod, Lark instinctively moved closer. It was important to Lark to make friends, and surely stepping all over the boils n' ghouls wasn't gonna make that easy. At least the ghoul with the white hair and long tail hald laughed -- that made Lark feel a little better as she drew closer to the small group.

"It's all sort'sa balls up in here, annit?" She shook her head ruefully and drew her hat off of her head, clutching it in one slender hand. "Can't take a step sideways f'fearin' you gonna step on someone's bloody foot, too right." The rail-thin ghoul rocked back on her heels and introduced herself quickly.

"Name's Lark. M'new here, if ya haven't been able t'tell by the way I been wankin' around, hah!"

"Miss Edel!!" Muka found his body magnetically pulled to the elegant ice demon. He took her hand in a sweeping gesture and kissed the back of it. The strix was glad to see so many of his friends here! Willow inquired about his enrollment and he pulled Edel by the hand towards the small chatting group.

"I moved in while everyone was on the field trip." Of course he was very social and had met so many people at the various events he'd attending while waiting to hear about the processing of his application. The strix's attention was pulled away by the somewhat dramatic entrance of their teacher. He was rapt with attention and became suddenly glad that he'd come into this class. It seemed right up his alley!!

Soon everyone seemed to be swarming their 'victim' and Muka was bumped rather hard. His head turned on his shoulders to find that the culprit was Tahki. "HI TAHKI." He, as always, loudly proclaimed his greeting to the shy gryphon.

Honestly he was just waiting his turn before trying. His head bobbled, birdlike, on his shoulders while he watched all the impressive attempts.

Having patience paid off. Muka maneuvered through the throng of students without so much as stubbing his toe on a chair. He took a moment to preen, fluffing his hair up impressively with his taloned fingers and ruffling his wings. His ever present smile hardened into a line for a moment, as he tried to concentrate.

And then like shot he was flared, talons raised, wings stretched his eyes maddeningly wide and his razor sharp teeth cracked hungrily. His withering gaze hit the 'imaginary' victim for an extended stare off.

As he finished the strix withdrew with a grin. He felt like he should have included a screech of some kind. Hmmm.. there was definitely something missing about his performance.

He definitely should have screeched.

The questions that the zombie boy had asked were sorts of things that Tahki took an interest in. She would have happily taken in the conversation if she had heard the topic. But the scaring mishap had spoiled the moment.

The gryphons face reddened five different shades when she bumped in to the owl monster. To be fair, if it had been anyone, they'd get the same red face. Her face relaxed when Muka didn't seem to be upset. Still, she was embarrassed with how poorly she had done.

"Um... Hi," Her nerves were doing her no favors at all. There was a slight nervous tail flick. She stood there long enough to see Muka not do well either. He did not bump in to some one but his over all performance was a little flat which actually kind of got a smile out of Tahki. So Muka wasn't perfect either, there was a bit of a calming in that thought.

Petro couldn't help but ask if Willow was alright after seeing the ghoul trip, "Y' alright there? 'S Willow, yeah?" he clarified if that was the ghoul's name after hearing Bul mention it.

The tikbalang canted his head at the discovery of Bul's condition. It wasn't serious now but, "Did y' get it from the Field Trip?" he asked. He wouldn't be surprised if that was where the half-beast's injury came from. It seemed a lot of students had gotten hurt... but still none as badly as their former Gym Professor. The memory seemed to make Tro's mood turn for the serious.

Edel couldn't help but grin a little abashedly when Muka took her hand and planted a kiss on the back of it. He hadn't changed since the last time she had seen him. The ghoul would then accidentally knock into Willow as Muka tugged her along, prompting her to say a reflexive “So sorry!” at the tiger ghoul. It took a while for it to sink in that Willow was the one who had so quickly found the keycard during the field trip and freed her group – ah she would have to say a personal thank you ...

The frost demon caught the bit where Muka explained that he had moved in while they were away before her attention was snapped up by the .... rather loud Mr. Rengath. A task already? Edel was terribly unprepared for it, and the drama class in general. Ah, but there was no running away now was there? The ghoul watched quietly as the others stepped up to the chair and presented themselves so intimidatingly. Edel was rather impressed at how terrifying Muka looked, certainly, she had not expected such a face from a gentleman. Or did she?

Her turn already? Edel figured that she should just get this over and done with. For a moment, she simply stood in front of the chair and tapped her chin. Scary huh? Her mind had somehow wandered to think of the hunters and the rage face just came naturally. She raised her hand threateningly (or at least, she thought so) before she stopped, reverted back to normal and shuffled away quickly.

That should be quite enough.

Willow finally found a moment to stand up where no one else seemed they were going to be running into her. "Sorry Bul, I should've watched where I was going..." Her ears were down as she looked at his tail. She was hoping she didn't hurt him too bad when she tripped over his tail.

Pausing she looked over to Petro and nodded, "Yeah... I think so... well save for my pride but... that'll come back." She nodded to indicate he was right on the name. "Thanks... um..." She paused, Bul had called him Tro or something like that right? "...Tro?"

Of course with Muka it seemed there was slowly a large crowd gathering which the tigress was trying to ignore. That was slightly hard considering how loud the strix was with his greetings. Before, Muka headed off to try to scare the chair she nodded, "Ah I see. So that's why I missed you moving in."

To keep anyone from tripping over her own tail she held it in her hands and started fiddling with it. Willow was starting to think about sneaking off to the back of the room where it seemed at least, less crowded. Though at the same time she didn't want to be rude towards Bul, Tro and Muka. So instead she opted for trying her best not to show she was a bit nervous and felt like hiding in a corner.

Glad it was over and no one really noticed, Edel gingerly approached Willow and tapped her on her shoulder hesitantly. “Uhm, hi .... I'd like to thank you .... about the field trip ...” The frost demon wasn't too keen to recall the event in specifics, but there was no harm in thank you was there? Also, manners. “My name's Edel, it's a pleasure to meet you!” came the abrupt transition, along with an extended hand.

It was somewhat unusual for Zurine to have been so quiet thus fr in class - but that was likely just because she was distracted with a stray lock of hair that utterly refused to do as it was told. Such things required serious concentration you know. However the sudden arrival of the teacher was enough to pull her attention to the front of the class and those around her again. She watched as several of her fellows went forward to try and scare an imaginary person - some seemed to do better then others, not that she was an expert or anything but there were a few things she herself found scarier then others.

Once the initial rush had slowed down somewhat she decided to take her turn and thankfully avoided running into anyone else trying at the same time, unlike many however Zurine decided she'd try and take a bit of a different approach - I mean if you were trying to scare someone she didn't think she'd jump out at them from the front right? No she's come at them from the side..or behind. Behind sounded good, so she padded around the chair in a wide circle and when she got behind it rushed forward with a growling snarl as though attempting to take someone by surprise. It might have been better if it was dark in the room - and she felt bit silly doing it to an empty chair..but most of that was dispersed because well..half the class had already done it right? She couldn't look any sillier then they had. Beaming somewhat sheepishly when she was done she padded back to her place.

Natalia didn't even flinch as Muka planted a kiss on her cheek, welcoming it with a tight squeeze around the boil and a chuckle. The act wasn't flirtatious, she hadn't taken it in such a way, thus it wasn't dwelled upon in the least!

The conversations going around the room didn't particularly interest the lemur--although the individuals holding them did, she simply wasn't all too concerned with socializing at the moment. Not when there were parts to be played, rolls to excel in, people to pleas--

Their professor's appearance stopped Natalia mid-thought; not only in the way that he looked, but also in the way that he entered the room! Her orange gaze kept to demon as he moved about the stage, offering an insight of the class to them before their first task was to be given. It was interesting stuff, sure but...

This was not an acting class. Not in the traditional sense! This was a FEAR class...boo.

At least she could still put to use her talents with this particular assignment.

The line had begun to grow as students filed in, waiting for their chance to scare. She waited in the backdrop a bit, spectating the attempts (both fails and successes) with a critical eye. What to do--what not to do! The lemur felt confident that the stumbling, bumping, and elbowing that went down just before the stage, or just after it wouldn't happen to her, since surely she always watched where she was going.

...Following the others at last, Natalia made her way up the steps and shook herself loose. She could do this...she was talented. She was--tripping.

Natalia was tripping over her own feet and falling forward onto the chair just as her turn had come. Everything happened in slow motion, from the decent to the awkward scramble to keep her footing, to the sliding down the chair's back and onto the floor. She sprawled once there, tail inching its way up toward her face to shield it from the lights...

And from the embarrassment.

"Uh...Rawr." She murmured in a desperate attempt to take the edge off, but it didn't help. Rising to her feet most elegantly, the monster brushed herself off and stalked off the stage.

She didn't DARE look at what expression might've been on their professor's face.

"Yep. I'm lucky to have even lived through that. At one point I didn't have any Fear protecting me..." Bul sighed in response to Tro.

Turning to Willow now his shrugged."No big deal, it's kinda dark in here. Doesn't help I'm just a pile of legs and tail." He narrowed his eyes as he watched the other students going at it but it appeared the teacher only gave students one shot at it and when he'd gotten up for his turn he blew it on falling out of his seat. Whatever, he knew he was pretty ******** scary. In his mind, of course.

Don't see none 'a 'em balls. Ya'll think we'll be usin' 'em in'ere?... 'less ya mean we're all jumblin' all 'bout- Levi watched the ghoul remove her hat; wasn't a cowboil hat like Mots R.I.P Hat, but something a little different. Maybe she was some sort of cow ghoul though? The blonde ghouls next word confirmed Levi's suspicions about what she'd meant about balls dealing with all the stumbling of the students.

Sure dun 'look that way. Good ta see there must be some sorta ... cockamamie than ggoin' 'round on this 'ere stage. Floor maybe? I'll be Jack danged 'in 'a ditch if I fell fer that 'gain. She'd try, anyways. The tatzel gave another hillbilly chuckle before hearing out Lark's introduction of herself.

Levi offered out a hand. Pleasure ta meet'cha, Lark. Names Levi! Hard ta tell who's new 'round 'ere when tha schools just 'bout as big as 'a city, eh? Hope yer liken' it. Got yer dorm all settle'in? That had been the first thing Levi did when she arrived and met a certain hound. She figured it was a good idea to see if Lark had had any help fixing up her room or needed help still doing so. Nothing made you feel more welcome in a new living space then making in just like home.
