When her father threw a glance to see if she was alright, she nodded her head, then limped to the door. She pawed it open and trotted over to the boys. As she did, she shifted back to her human form. Immediately, she clutched her side where Gearvin punched her. "It... It's safe to come inside now," she said, a little pained. Tam estimate that Gearvin must have broken a rib with the punch.

Tamara walked carefully into the house and sealed the door with a colloportus spell, then walked to Chris. "Yeah, he'll be alright. There's a simple spell that'll heal up all the damage I did." She touched the raw spot on her side and flinched. "Chalmes, I want you to watch the upstairs. If Aldanis attempts to come through, let me know. Chris, watch the back door. If you see anyone, come get me." At last she turned to her father. "Front door is sealed. I'm going to cover the front. At your readiness, Dad."

"Gearvin, I'm going to free you now." He pointed his wand at Gearvin. "Imperio."☯

That was the only way to free the shop keeper's mind and return it to his own. He began his assault, knowing full well that he would be alerting a dangerous man that his body was vulnerable.☯

He immediately apparated to the first location in Gearvin's mind, appearing in the back yard. Striding with purpose, he approached the house.
