Bringing his head back up, Adrian took the gun and reloaded it, this time sitting on the table and waiting for her to shoot. "Try it alone."

She blinked at him then turned to the targets, then at him, then the targets, then him again. A sly grin spread out across her face. "Bet you lunch I can get all five targets." she challenged and pointed her gun at them.

He chuckled, smirking and crossing his well-toned arms. "Alright, fine. You hit all five, and I'll pay for lunch at La Costa Belle. You don't, and you have to pay."

She bit her lip. La Costa Belle. She hadn't eaten there, but she knew that something that fancy sounded had to cost a crap ton of money. Pride masked her worry and made her nod. "I hope you've got a fat wallet." she mocked before turning around and holding the gun up. She started off with a wrong stance, but within seconds she corrected herself and placed her feet shoulder width apart, closing one eye to aim better. Five targets. That's not so bad.
She fired.

When the smoke finally cleared, he stood beside her, laughing. "Looks like the size of my wallet means nothing." She had missed a single target, while the other four were riddled with bullet holes. Adrian grinned happily, his left hand digging into his pocket. "Tell you what. I'll drive."

With a hand waving away the smoke pouring from the gun, Lena eagerly stared at the results. She gawked at the sight of the one unscathed target. "Aww! No fair!" she whined and stomped her foot in a fit of childish rage. "The wind got in my way!"

"Sure, the wind," he laughed. "Now come on. I'm hungry."

Grumbling to herself, Lena complied and set her gun down, plodding after him.

It had been a good few hours before the two returned to the gun range. By then the moon danced with the stars in the sky, the only form of light.
"Looks like it's closed." Lena observed, taking note of the vacant building with no lights on.

He sighed, tilting his head. "Crap..."

She simply laughed and pinched his cheeks. "Now now! Don't be all upset, you'll start sounding like the owner of a... a...." She tried to remember a lesson he taught her on the way, of the very first car. "T-Mobile?" Pretty sure that wasn't it. She pinched his cheek so he wouldn't get the chance to correct her. "Just leave this to lil ol' me." she chuckled.
Stepping out of the car, Lena took a sweep of her surroundings to make sure no cops or workers were still around. The coast was clear. As she walked towards the door of the main building which contained numerous guns, ammo, and germane accessories, she pulled out a hairpin that clipped against the edge of her hat. A nifty trick she picked up from Damian every time he kept sneaking into her room to make sure no guys had been there.
Lena leaned against the door knob and jiggled it. Locked. Of course. She straightened up the hairpin and inserted it into the keyhole. After a few jimmies and wriggles, the knob clicked and the door opened by a crack.
"See?" she laughed triumphantly and turned to face Adrian with a proud smile. "Easy as pie!"

He stood beside her, chuckling. "What an interesting talent. Anything else you can do that I don't know about?"

She tapped the edge of the pin against his nose. "All in good time, dear boy. Now go!" She slapped his butt and pointed inside the store. "Go get us some guns! And no making your gun all advanced and stuff!"

Laughing, he pinched her butt as he stride inside, coming back out with three pairs of guns. Handing her three, he grinned. "Alright, shorty. You ready to lose?"

"Are you sure you want to talk to me like that when I'm holding a gun?" she joked lightly before heading towards the target range. Oh God, this was a terrible idea. The nighttime sky veiled the targets and hid them as if trying to make it harder for the two. Trying to find the targets during the day was hard enough, but now?! Oh Jesus.
She was sure Adrian wouldn't have a problem locating the targets with whatever superpowers he undoubtedly had. And then that was her, and her only powers came in the form of a mask that turned her hands into giant unable-to-hold-anything claws.
