"You don't say.", the angel said softly, unbuckling her own boots as she lowered her legs into the water. It was refreshingly cold. Espresso seemed to think so too, for her was doggie paddling in tiny circles.

Jacques chuckled as he stripped off his shirt and pants as well
"I zink I will 'ave a swim. Care to join me Gabrielle? "

Gabrielle felt her cheeks redden and she looked away, unbuttoning her own black polo shirt.

"A-as if I can say no with you like... like THAT.", she stammered as she hastily shed her clothes before diving in after him.

Jacques chuckled as he climbed onto a rock and shook himself dry like a puppy
"And what about the way I look can you say no about? Do I look funny he stood up and looked down at his lean muscular body
"I don't zink I'm fat, I train hard often to maintain a healthy weight after all "
he hopped back into the water and crawled along the bottom and came up beuind Gabrielle
"Do you zink I am ugly zen? "

Gabrielle only blushed harder, taking a step back in retreat when je disappeared. She let out a tiny squeak as her back hit his bare chest. The angel was very flustered indeed. She bit her lip, staring at the water's rich blue.

"..I'd be mad to think you ugly, you twit.", she said softly, crossing her arms over her chest.

"..You.. you're gorgeous and dashing and... sweet." , she forced herself yo watch Espresso swimming off nearby. She was afraid of rejection or awkard situations. If there was anything she feared, it was isolation.

Jacques waded through the water and wrapped his arms around her waist
"Zen let me help you with your fears " he smiled and tapped his nose "I am a wolf remember? I can smell it,and you are covered in it " he turned her around to face him and leaned over a bit so his face was closer
"'From what you've told me of yourself you're afraid of being pushed away, you are not alone. I share your feelings as an outcast among outcasts "

Gabrielle's eyes widened when he spun her around and she turned even redder when he leaned in. Biting her lip, she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"...I have to admit, being with you makes me feel a lot better than with my mum. Or anyone else from my past, now that I think about it."

His skin was warm. As expected from a werewolf.

Gabrielle sighed and let her wings down. It felt wonderful in the water.

"Facing my fears has always just... i don't know. I despise being alone."

He closed his eyes and grunted for a second. when he opened them again his eyes had changed from sky blue to a brilliant gold,his canines elongated and even his nails turned to sharp black claws
"As my master said once, even when the alpha sits on his own he secretly wishes for a pack member to join him."
He leaned a little closer
"I 'ave never enjoyed being by myself either. When my fate r threatened to disown me because of my condition, I only found solace in fighting "
He ran his fingers through Gabrielles feathers as his ears and tail emerged
"But ze warmth of another body is an excellent remedy for loneliness. I am told "

Gabrielle's eyes widened. Not out of fear, but out of awe. His eyes were beautiful. As he ran his claws through the feathers pf her wing, she hissed and bated her breath. The contact was charged with electricity, and she blushed at his words.

"Mm.. I wouldn't know.", she smiled before reaching up to touch his ears and scratch them.

"What I do know though is that I want to be here for you, Jacques. And I will never turn my back on you."

he leaned closer, to the point where their lips were almost touching and practically purred her name "Gabrielle "
His ears twitched slightly under her touch and his tail began wagging happily

She smiled as her halo shone brightly. She felt happy just being with him.
Even the way he said her name made her want to squeal like a little girl. She started to say something when she felt Espresso bump into her back, making her stumble. Her shock was lost as their lips met.

Jacque's eyes widened when their lips met and his heart raced
" I -I am so sorry if I took your first kiss, I promise I did not o zat on purpose "
As he tried to explain himself Nikolai barked happily and leaped onto his master's back pushing him forward so dis from pressed against Gabrielle
"I-i ummm I... " Jacques could his face turning red as his words failed him

She turned bright red and simply stared. Gabrielle herself was at a loss on how to react. But she found her arms sense again and wrapped tjem around his neck.

"Haha, don't worry about it, ma cheri..?" , she smiled shyly, lookong for approval.

Jacques felt himself lose control as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close
"Ouija mon amour " he said as he kissed her again, this time intentionally
"As long as you don't mind being touched by un bete sauvage like me "
