Tiny tailthumps might have exposed Gabby's weakness to being scritched behind the ear in this form, but Gabby's face was still so totally grumpy. He wasn't going to let up just yet on his vendetta against whoever this was..

He was just biding his time. That was right. Just.. letting him get comfortable. The vibrating murr coming from his belly was truly just subterfuge intended to further convince Jove that Gabby was not the dangerous creature he really was. No one could tell him otherwise.

At the gesture he took the seat, seeing as it was to be permitted and offered a smile. He wasn't quite sure what to make of the mentions of the hat, a bit amused that something so small was getting notice. He'd have to comment about it to Maddy later. You know, after class. When Makoto wasn't around. Stuff like that. "Afternoon, Olivia." He added, watching the ghoul seem to crane in a rather uncomfortable way and offering a quick nod of agreement at Mia's mention. She was welcome to come sit more comfortably.

The boil with... a head on his tail, was giving a quizzical look as he also mentioned the had in passing before he looked to the two near him with a shrug. And then, then there was the greatest noise of all as the gryphon and teacher entered. Along with some sort of excuse to... why the teacher was in such a state. He was rather unsure of the potions they were offered, but it was a class and they weren't out to kill them. It would... well it was for their own good perhaps?



He lightly drank the thing and regretted it as soon as the first person changed, realizing what was coming. Too late. He soon found himself crawling up on the desk with short stubby legs as his hat fell into a tilted position. Propped up a bit by his other horn as he glanced around. Mia was purple, and.. crankily barking at the teacher, in the meantime he spotted recalled hearing that nickname from a certain brats mouth. A low grumble escaped him in something of a growl as he spotted what had become of the small fiery demon. Who was, of course, a foxfire now.

And began barking in the best for a yippy noise his current form could make. Which wasn't great, but maybe it could be heard over the din of everyone else.

Either way, he just suddenly felt the need to take out some of the annoyance he had for that demon on the other.

"I'll help you out later with them then." he smiled. Spookies. Yes. Always more spookies.

He waited as things settled, watching as TG nearly got stomped multiple times. Crazy imp. He curled up and waited for class to start, only to see… was that a firefox?

Ren was rambling on about something and handing out potions. Drink it? Fi didn’t seem bothered but he eyed his potion suspiciously opened it and stared at the contents. It was… liquidly.

“Right…” he sighed and looked at Ren who had drank some too. Weren’t they supposed to be making potions? Not drinking them? Or was that part of the class. He really preferred his own mental state thank you very much.

“I guess….” He stared at the potion some more. It was supposed to give him strength. That was a good thing right? He finally sipped it with the look of someone drinking the worlds most bitter medicine.

“I think I’m gonna be sick.” He moaned and leaned onto the desk when he saw Fiona change in the corner of his eye. “Fi? ahh what happened?” oh no.

Poof.



Strangely despite the change Andrew felt awesome. He didn’t even feel sick; he felt like the most badass of badasses. He launched himself up on the table his tiny mini wings flapping as he claimed his position as the most bad assed student in the room. Proclaiming himself the best, he started barking at the other students tail flame burning a little higher than usual, or was that fluff, it was hard to tell. Never mind that they were all something that resembled a dog, he was one too and on fire. That made him better.

Suddenly he saw Molan who challenged him and barked back tail flaring just a bit more.

Somewhere, Mia started smelling burning fur, and began to worry about the state of the classroom.

It was that kind of invitation that Olivia always liked to hear - though she couldn't exactly say she was all terribly uncomfortable in her odd position. It was a little awkward, yes, but there was the advantage of not having to worry about muscle strain or things like that. She took the invite though, happily and with her usual smile, detangling herself from the chair and scooting herself one seat over and closer to them.

Olivia was pleased. OuO Closer to friends and it seemed a better vantage point to also stare at the pretty Horsemen. All of them. Together.

But, she didn't get to stare long when several noises brought her's, and well everyone's, attention to the door where Malcolm and Ren came wheeling in through. Olivia blinked owlishly for a moment, "Oh, he's in charge of the Scario Kart Club," she realized after a good look.

She listened intently as Ren went on to explain, well at first until the bottles were passed out. Her attention immediately then upon it as she played with it in her hands. The colors and liquid was very pretty, she had to admit. Drink it? She realized, picking up her head as others were taking their sips. Others around her were beginning to change before her eyes and before she knew it her eyes were getting very wide indeed. Everyone was getting so cute and fluffy!

Well, of course she wanted to as well. Olivia brought the bottle to her lips and drank it as carefully as she could. She couldn't tell about the taste, but she knew that it made her feel a little funny....

Oh!

Well, this was new. Stubby little limbs and a fluffly little tail. All Olivia wanted to do was jump in circles upon the desk top but the yapping of her friends stole that idea away. Mia didn't seem the least pleased, but she looked adorable. As did Molan with his cute little hat. But he was yelling at Andrew! And Andrew was barking right back at him.

Fluffy Olivia puffed up her tiny little cheeks and glared at both of them (was there a hint of a growl? Oh yes there was!). Her friends were not going to fight!

Wait, what was.. happening.. why were the ear scritches stopping? How dare this guy stop giving him ear scritches before he was ready to attack! Gabby swiped a paw at the offending hand, but all he got was air as the boil picked him up and placed him in front of another foxfire.

Was he trying to say something? Was this.. this little fluffball in front of him, the first thing Gabby had to defeat before he could have a chance at the boil that managed to defy the odds?! Because he would, he TOTALLY would, no matter what it takes!

Gabby started bouncing back and forth, his head bowed low as he bent in front legs and wiggled his round, fluffy butt wildly. He was totally going to pounce this thing. Whatever - or whoever - it was, he was going to take it down and then go for the other boil's throat! What did they say about werewolves.. if you bite them, they turn? So if he bit the boil, there would be just another fluffball in the class.

Yeah. Yeah, that was his best plan ever.

But first. He had to take on this first round.

Gabby jumped forward - about an inch - and his tiny nose wiggled as he sniffed the tiny foxfire in front of him, their noses touching.

He could smell her fear.

Maple was happy in her nice little bubble of fluff. Well, relatively. No one had disturbed her, or started up a challenge like she could hear all around her - well, she could hear the yapping and the growls and it made it clear that the others were turning just as she had. (There at least was another happy thought, she had become a foxfire just like everyone else so she did what she was supposed to. The courage though, yeah.. where was that).

Her peaceful misery was then no more. All at once, another small fluffy little body and a hand against her furry little ear. Her little body jumped in all directions, taken by surprise from the sudden attention. It barely registered that Gabby was bouncing in place, so ready to take her on because he mind was going a mile a minute. (Who were these two? What was going on? Huh, that felt nice). But the moment they were nose to nose, Maple let out a little squeak, "Aa!" She recoiled so fast, her little limbs flailing.

And she was on the ground with a puffy little flop. @n@

Jove had been ready to intercede had the white fluff played too roughly with the little brown one, but it looked to him like plain, regular foxfire play. He didn't even seem alarmed when the hooded one toppled over onto her back. To look at him, this was all a matter of course.

He gently scooped up the little brown one and deposited her right side up. There you go. Now more scratches for both of you. His first year of school would have been so much easier had this classroom been an example of student diversity...
