"Captain" Ray repeated "So you're in the military then!" she concluded, sounding pleasantly surprised. "respect, respect." She added with a nod.
When Ray told that this man was the reason Yuri had that shiner.
"Oh really? that was you? Haa haa! you seem like such a nice boy scout at first sight too."

She let out a snort of amusement when Zane showed off a discoloration of hair as well. "Then you start better watching who you call old. Oh great Pot"

When her greeting was completely unheard by the humans, Lovey tilted her head questioningly up at them, then Repede before turning back to check on her trainer who still went unnoticed.

Dove's hand fell from the wave she had offered, and she stood still, unsure of what to do. The three seemed to be engaged in a good discussion, and Lovey's hello had left them both outsiders still. With a sigh, she motioned for the eevee to return to her, then scooped it up in her arms as it neared her. "Lets go see if we can find some pecha berries, hm?" she offered as the little Pokemon watched her. There would be a better chance to talk with them later, when they weren't already so involved.

Zane's brows furrowed deeply, and he repeated the phrase the woman had used. " Oh great pot?" the hell?

The pichu at his shoulder, however, turned to regard the eevee as it walked through the middle of the group, offering a loud "Piiiiii!" and a wave of its own, hopping once as Dove offered a weak smile and returned the gesture, still unmoving from her spot as she glanced around at the vendors.

Flynn nodded with a small smile, confirming that he was indeed with the military. However, as Yuri blabbed about the fact that he had knocked him out with Ray comparing him to a boy scout, the man ran a hand through his hair. His cheeks flushed just slightly in embarrassment. He then coughed into a fist.

"Yes, well, he deserved it."

Repede just wuffed again at Lovey, giving the doggy version of a shrug. They were all rather engaged in their conversation and not paying all that much attention to what was going on around them. Besides, there were tons of Pokemon around, people everywhere having taken them out. And if Dove really wanted to say hello, she should have come over and done so.

When they decided to leave, the Growlithe went over and pawed once at Flynn's leg, his tail wagging. This caught the blonde's attention and he bent down to ruffle the dog's head fur.

"Hey, Repede, sorry I didn't say hello before. Glad to see you got your pipe back."

Repede barked proudly in reply.

Had it really been a year since the last on of these? Jeremy knew it have, he knew he must have been in Kodo for quite a while now, and yet what little did he have to show for it? A handful of acquaintances, a drinking habit and a small apartment that, if comfortable for one person, could never be described as luxurious.
Days like these, though, the calm, relaxing, weather coupled with the jolly excitement of such an event brought a smile rather than a frown to the man in a brown suit.
There was a habit he could not lose; vanity, perhaps, but his suits, out of date and not quite perfectly tailored were a fixture.
The sun, at least, had persuaded him to ditch his hat, instead he'd opted to don a pair of square, light blue-tinted glasses. The sunglasses, he personally suspected, did not suit him that well, but he did feel more comfortable wearing them.

Jazz poured, lazily, from the band he was listening to, leaning back, stood against a handy lighting post. The music was not entirely lost in the noise of the event but instead became a component of it all. He closed his eyes to enjoy it, much as he enjoyed the feeling of a little sunlight upon his face.
At his feet, sharing the remains of a hot dog he had bought, were a black and white Jolteon and an orange Leafeon.
They, the Leafeon in particular, were happy eating, but were more interested in the other pokémon and people milling around the event. Often the hot dog went un-nibbled for minutes at a time as their attention was pulled by some individual or event.

The Pikachu giggled at Gummy's reaction, though his vacant gaze was a little... unsettling. His trainer appeared right after that though, and Iona waved a paw at her quite readily. This girl seemed friendly! ...ooooh, very friendly! The electric-type reached up to gratefully accept the offered treat, and opened her mouth wide to--

"Lop."

Iona flinched slightly and turned to look up at the Lopunny that just arrived, still carrying his offspring in his arms. The large normal-type gave the Pikachu a hard, stern look - she knew better than to accept food from strangers - but Iona merely stuck her tongue out at him before shoving the whole piece of cake into her mouth at once. He wasn't her father.

Duncan merely rolled his eyes before his gaze traveled from her to the Totodile and its trainer. Well, she at least didn't look unfriendly...

Finn thought so as well, even going so far as to think the pair were quite friendly, and he struggled in Duncan's arms while waving at Henrietta and Gummy. "Bun! Buneary, buunnn!"

The Totodile snapped up his treat quite literally, his tail moving back and forth rhythmically. His eyes returned to the Pikachu and then seemed to linger for a moment as the bunnies appeared.

Winglet licked her fangs; despite a lack of eyes, there was almost a sense of watchfulness about the bat pokémon.

"Oh cool!" The purple-haired girl grinned, surprised, as Duncan and Finn arrived.
"Man, you look awesome..." She informed the Lopunny, before turning her attention to the little one in his arms. "And you're adorable..."
"Hang on!" The cake she'd bought was disappearing fast and she'd yet to eaten any herself, but she didn't seem to care as she broke two more pieces off to offer to the Lopunny and Buneary. "Here!"

While browsing the berries, Tymiko's attention was caught by a loud pokemon's cry nearby. She witnessed the dark-type eagerly gesturing toward the berries before her and grinned at the way it attempted to get its trainer's attention. Clearly it was hungry.

After purchasing a few different types, she took out a couple of her favorite kind (of which she had bought more of than any other) and bit into one before approaching and lightly tossing the other Liechi berry to Jacques.

While Ray and Flynn spoke, Yuri glanced off in the direction of the crowds and vendors.

"I think I'm gonna go see what Luke's up to," he said a little cheerfully. Resting his sheathed sword on his shoulder, he then proceeded to walk down the hill and towards the rose vendor where he spotted the little group.

"Hey, what's up?" he then called as he caught up with the kids. His eyes drawn to the colorful array of roses that they stood in front of.

Repede, deciding to stay with Flynn as Yuri wandered off.

Lovey popped her head over Dove's shoulder to blink at the Pichu as it called to them, wagging her tail a bit before barking once at her trainer. When the girl blinked down at her, she nosed in the direction of the pichu and Zane

Turning to look in the direction her eevee pointed her, she sighed, then shook her head at the little pokemon before turning and making her way back to where the group stood, though now-- to her disappointment-- Yuri was gone. However, Ray and Zane were still there, with someone she couldn't quite see from where she stood, though as she drew close, she realized she knew him as well. Once at the top of the little hill, she paused, making sure she wasn't interrupting, then stepped forward to join the small group, offering Zane a smile first, then the others.

"Hey guys!"

Lovey wiggled a bit, ignoring the humans for now and proceeded to jump into Zane's arms, all but climbing up his strong chest to reach the Pichu that turned to sniff at her.

Though the model's cheeks burned in embarrassment and she moved to take the eevee back, Zane simply shook his head and lowered both pokemon to the ground, assuring her it was alright. "Really, thanks. That little Zap was starting to bug the hell out of me..." He looked back to the group. "I take it you all know each other then?"

"Man, a joke is not funny if I have to explain it, How do you not know about the pot?" Ray quirked a brow at him "Pot, kettle... black? or in this case gray." She shrugged letting out a laugh, and looking back over at Flynn and Yuri.
She grinned, watching Flynn meet up with Rapede again, tilting her gaze back toward the black haired man as he announced going to see Luke.
"Oh yeah, where did those kids get off to?" She asked, turning to glance around in the direction that Yuri was heading.

Another body seemed to join them, the familiar brunette, approaching Zane and talking to him.

"Oh, looks like Jacques found some berries for us." Rosie giggled at the dark types excitement, now that the pokemon was so much bigger she imagined Sera was having a bit more trouble handling his personality type.
It was all about being a trainer though~ and at least Sera seemed to be working on it, what with her having Ray.

A girl that Rosie recognized from somewhere walked over to interact with the dark type and his trainer. But it was a more familiar voice that drew Rosie's attention.
"Hey Yuri!" she burst excitedly. "Nothing much, we're just taking a look around~ How about you? Having fun so far?"

Zane looked up at the woman, shaking his head. "Nah, I got it," he said with a scowl. "Just took me a second. Never really heard it out of phrase before."

Dove watched as her Eevee introduced itself to the Pichu, earning a tackle hug in return, then lifted her face up to Zane. "No Midas today?"

Zane glanced at the other two in the circle, then shrugged, pulling a ball from his belt and releasing the Arcanine off to the side. There was plenty of space for him here in the park, and surely it wouldn't draw too much attention, given how many other uniquely colored pokemon were running around.

Dove blinked as the large fire-type stretched its legs and back before taking in its surroundings. "Still looks like a king..." she commented, before looking to Ray and Flynn. "How are you guys? Enjoying the festivities?"

Ray chuckled at his scowl and his attempt to brush away her explanation "Well good," she reached out and pat his shoulder "Sorry about the castration then, You can have your balls back now."

When Dove smoke, half lidded mossy eyes, and a calm smile settle on the brunette, arms crossing over her chest.
"So far so good, Lots going on. Though I've been socializing this whole time, impressive to see this many trainers on the island, its getting pretty popular here."

Zane rolled his eyes, a brief chuckle turning quickly to a sigh. Well..whatever. "Thanks for that."

Now more aware of his environment, Midas made his way over to his master and the other humans, first glancing at the two familiar pokemon at his feet, then to the growlithe that sat next to the blonde man, noting the scar across its face. Nodding once to Repede, he settled just behind the dark haired girl and Zane, watching the trainers talk.

Luke seconded Seraphine's evaluation of the position of the flower with a nod, his attentions suddenly redirected by the sudden presence of a Zoroark draped over his friend like some kind of clothing accessory. Looked like someone was really into berries. Fortunately for Jacques, a charitable someone happened to take notice as well - someone familiar, he noted at her approach, and he offered an amicable greeting to the girl, "Hey, Tymiko." Yuri joined the suddenly expanding group as well, Rosie offering an enthusiastic greeting, and Luke started to suspect that maybe they were a few too many people to loiter around the vendors.
