Akira hit the forest and finished up enough quests to look at the next town on the map. After he slept in an inn he started early traveling on the road and it was only him on the road so far, no other players in sight. He made sure to check off his position and keep watch for other players. He heard from others conversations in the inn that some had already died, the first one jumping off a wall. There were more after that, some to monsters and some were rumored to be killed by other players. That only meant he had to keep a watch since all the players were weak at this point and if he got attacked from behind after dealing with a monster he was dead. Akira was still trying to get used to the idea that there was no respawn now, it was one life and done. Closing the menu, he looked around for any monsters he could gain exp on now that he filled with potions. Spotting a wolf, he pulled out his sword and raced for it.

YuiYui let out a quiet sigh of relief as she watched the orange aired girl called Asuna run away. It had taken a lot more energy than she had thought to mess with the tree's data and send the message, that ended up a bit messed up anyway. Giving a small smile as she watched Asuna climb into her bed, Yui closed her eyes. I did it... she should be alright now Yui thought to herself happy that she had helped to both save the player and reassure her. It didn't take long before Yui fell asleep. Waking up, Yui rubbed her eyes sleepily as she looked around at the screens seeing a lot of players waking up as well. One screen was even on Asuna and Yui couldn't help but to smile a bit seeing the girl was in a better state then last night. Considering the amount of power it had taken her though, Yui knew she wouldn't be able to help everyone like that, but it felt nice to be able to at least help the players, even if only a little bit. I'll have to test around with what else I can do Yui thought to herself, she had GM access but Cardinal would be checking what she was doing. Wait.... so last night.... Cardinal would have had to pass what I did.... The Abyss Walker  "You are all so dull and boring, always talking about good and right, chaos and order. Screw that noise, life isn't black and white, there are little gray splotches everywhere..." As Shinu waited for answer, that didn't seem to come, he just stared sympathetically but impatiently back at her as she stared at him with what he thought was confusion and intent. It was typically unheard of for a Red to let someone live, even more so unusual to feel guilt for causing harm to a player in the first, maybe the girl was just confused as to why she was left alive. As tears began to swell up in the girls eyes, Shinu pulled out a small rag of cloth and moved his hand slowly near her face to wipe away the tears as they fall. "May I?" He asked, seemingly avoiding her question as well being kind before he rudely touched her face, if she said yes he'd wipe away the tears, but if not he'd leave the rag with her. After a moment, Shinu finally decided that he'd answer her question about who he was. "I'm Abyss Walker, a red player. I kill other reds and occasionally for money, but it all depends on standards I have." That was Shinu's response, though it probably wasn't what the girl was looking for it was what she got. He looked up and saw how dark ir was getting then looked back at the woman. "Though I suppose if you'd like to address me by another name, you may call me Shin. Its late, you should probably get some rest, have you purchased a room in an inn yet? He asked with his hand extended, offering to help her up. "You know what I see in those gray splotches? Fun and I love it. What you think is bizarre I think is awesome, if that makes me crazy then I don't wanna be sane, at least I'm not boring like you."
Mood: Agitated and slightly guilty.

❝I realized that everyone on this game, including me...❞ ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±► ▷Kirito◁◄  ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎❂- Kirito's eyes blinked awake as the sunlight shone upon his face through the window pane. He groaned lazily and turned to his face away from the window in attempt to fall back to sleep, but to no avail as he realized the sunlight was also reflecting off a mirror in the room whereas the light ironically hit him right smack in the face. He sighed, man, what's a guy gotta do around here to get some sleep? Kirito got out of bed and washed up, checking the time to realize how early it was. He decided to go out on a morning stroll around town, assuming Silica and Klein were probably still asleep.

He exited the inn and strolled down the center of town, hands in his pockets. The town still wasn't very lively, making him a lot more comfortable and relaxed. He found a small area with a nice bench and a shady tree behind it hovering over it. Instead of sitting on the bench like a normal person, he laid on the grass, appreciating the shade the tree had to offer. He closed his eyes and breathed in the fresh air blowing within the wind, listening to the swaying leaves and birds chirping. Looking around town, she fells a little nervous on going back to the cave. -I'm only a level 5, how am I going to destroy that monster....- she looks around, see more active players on now. -Maybe I have to take a leap of faith...- She notice more people in the center of the town. Asking many people to assist her, many didn't accepted. Sitting on a bench, frustrated she kicked a small rock on the ground. -Wait wont anyone help me.... Is everyone really scared of that serpent...- A boy caught her attention, he was laying by a tree. -Maybe he can..- She started to walk over by him. "Umm Hello there..." No response. Feeling ignored, Liz stomped her foot on the ground, trying to get his attention. "Hello!"

She never let people touch her, so the fact a man was touching her face made her a tad uncomfortable. Even so, she understood he was just attempting to be polite after what had occurred so she simply nodded in approval for him to wipe away her tears. Depends on standards? She wondered what he meant by that, but did not dwell on it as her mind transitioned to the matter of his name. Abyss walker or Shin. It wasn't that difficult of a decision really, she mentally chose the more normal human name since it matched his compassion trait better. She shook her head, "No, I hadn't gotten the chance. I retreated here to relax for a moment not long after I arrived in town and then...well, you know the story." Her tone was more casual than it's usual brashness as she allowed her fierce fascade to topple. It didn't matter anymore, he'd already seen her at her weakest point. She felt humiliated as she took his hand and stood, her legs slightly wobbly at first after.  As Asuna walked, She came across a guild. They were called the Knights of the blood oath as there banner displayed. Asuna looked at them for a while, trying to figure out what they were doing. Asuna shrugged as she couldn't hear what they were saying. She started to walk off as the leader of the guild spoke to her." Hey you." The male voice said. Asuna stopped and looked back at the man. "Yes?" she asked confused on why he spoke to her. "You look like you could be promising." The male told her."I do?" she asked as she took off the hood of her cloak. The man nodded and smiled at her." Yes, take these and show me what you got." The man said as he sent her a shield and a sword. Asuna looked at him shocked.""This is really weird.." The thought to her self as she opened her menu. She took the items and equipped them. The male took out his weapons and stood in front of her in battle stance.""What am I saposed to do?"" she thought to herself as she stood in her battle stance."There is no way I can beat you." Asuna said as she began to worry. "You don't have too.you just have to show me your skills. Asuna nodded as she began to shake. She began to run at the male screaming. She took a few slashes at him, trying to get past his shield, But she could not. No matter how hard she tried, She couldn't get past his shield. Finally, Asuna gave up. She stood bent over as she panted."I'm sorry." she said as she put away the sword and shield. The guy started to clap and so did the others in the group. "Well done. you have a lot of talent." The male said as he stopped clapping and put his hand on her shoulder." I want you to be apart of this guild. No, I want you to be my second in command." The male said as he help her up. The others of the guild gasped.Another male walked up behind him."Sir, are you sure?we don't even know her." the male said as he looked at Asuna. The leader looked down at Asuna and smiled "Yes, I'm sure." He said."By the way, the name is Heathcliff." The male said shaking Asunas hand. Asuna was still so shocked, This came out of no where."I-im Asuna" she said as she caught her breath. The male stood up straight and went into his inventory."You will need these." The male said as Asuna got a notification that she was gifted items. She opened her menu once more to see what the things were,. she was gifted a outfit and a sword. She equipped the things and looked down. The outfit looked really nice and the sword looked high level. She looked up at the man in shock." I need you to go out and level up.Okay?" Heathcliff said as he began to walk away." In two weeks, Meet us in the same spot."He said as he kept walking.
Asuna still stood in place in shock.It all happened so quickly. Why would he want her? Asuna shook it off and looked around. "Okay, weird. But i was given a chance and i will take it." She said as she made her way threw the town and into the Forest.

He thought he heard someone greeting him, but doubted anyone would bother someone who was resting. Boy, was he wrong. With the stomp and more confident greeting than the last, Kirito winked open an eye to finally notice a pink-haired girl standing beside him. He was pretty mellowed out at the moment, so he yawned and simply said in a relaxed, friendly tone,

Shinu folded up the rag then placed it back in his inventory after wiping away her tears, her constant staring at him made him a bit uncomfortable, but he said nothing to her about it. He was confused though, her attitude had changed completely, she went from being this fearless badass that cared not for the lives of others, to a blushing shy girl that accepted the help of the man who almost killed her. Shinu helped the girl up and listened to her as she explained she hadn't purchased a room yet. He sighed and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Follow me, we'll share a two bed room, it'll be cheaper that way." Shinu said to her, it was the least he could do for damn near killing the girl today. "By the way I didn't get your name." He said looking back at her as they walked. When they reached the inn things went normal from there. He purchased a two bed room, got some food for the both of them to eat, assuming she was hungry, and after which he crawled into a bed though he obviously wasn't going to sleep at the moment. He leaned against the wall and was sifting through his menu. "You know what I see in those gray splotches? Fun and I love it. He seemed tired. Liz was off guard with his response. Looking around, she noticed it was a nice day. "Ya... I guess..." Then shaking her head, remembering the reason she walked up to him. "Umm this may be random but I need some help defeating a serpent in a cave, not to far from the town... So... do you think you can assist me with that...." -Please accept... I only have 2 more days until I have to get the sword done....- She looked at him, noticing he was around the same age as him. "If you need anything, I'm a blacksmith. I'll help out with any weapons, with no charge..."

Sharing a room with a guy didn't bother her at all, but sharing a room with a murderer didn't exactly fit her fancy. Then again, she wasn't any better. She glanced back up when she realized he made a valid point, she never introduced herself. "Yumiko Yamada. Yumi for short," she said as she trailed behind him.
After arriving and receiving a room at the inn, Yumi ate in silence then took some time to gaze out the window at the moonlit town. She placed a hand on the bitterly cold window pane, accepting the scenery within her mind as her new world. She felt as if she had moved to whole new town in the real world, leaving behind everything she'd ever known and never being able to turn back...sadly in this predicament she hadn't even had a say in her fate, it chose her instead. The feeling was rather unsettling. Yumiko frowned slightly before collapsing upon her bed. She was still a bit skeptical about sleeping in the same room as her assailant, but tried not to overthink it. She turned her back towards him so she would face the wall, which was a more comfortable sight. Yumi stared at her finger that had been pricked earlier, seeing it had been concealed by a scab. Something about blood...she couldn't comprehend why she felt so drawn to it.  Silica woke up the next morning and made her way out of her bed. She stretched and smiled widely."What should I do today?" she asked herself as she looked out her window. She diced on leveling up and finding items. Silica made her way out of her room and down the stairs. She saw the lady from yesterday behind the desk. " Hello." She said to the women as she smiled at her. The women smiled back and waved. Silica made her way out the front door and into the middle of the town. She looked around and found the edge of the town. "I'll go in there." she said as she pulled out her menu. She took out her knife she had found in the beta. Silica made her way into the forest. Most of all the monsters in the fores were low level, So she could get past them all. Silica explored the forest for a little while. Suddenly, She saw a white feathered dragon in the distance. She smiled widely as she saw it turn around and look at her." Awe!so cute!" she said as she walked closer the the animal. In the beta, Silica mostly leveled up her beat taming ability, So this dragon would be easy. Silica began to use her skill in beast taming. Soon after, The dragon stopped trying to attack and flew to the side of Silica." I will name Pina." she said as she scratched the head of the small dragon.

It seemed she didn't hear him or thought he would decline because she continued to ramble. He shook his head, opening both eyes as he smiled at the girl,
"You don't have to bribe me. As Asuna made her way to the forest, She stopped right on the edge. She remembered what had happened last night. She still was not sure what she was doing, But she knew it would never happen again. Asuna sighed as she began threw the forest again. She slowly walked as she looked around and prepared herself for what was coming. Asuna looked down at her sword again with a grin. She still didn't know why Heathcliff wanted her to join there guild. Was it just a joke? Well, Why would it be if her gave her all this high level stuff. Asuna shrugged and looked back up to where she was going. A little while up, She saw a few monsters. From where she was standing, they all looked low level. This would be the best place to level herself up. Asuna lifted her sword and prepared herself. Asuna ran towards all the monsters and went for the closest one to her. She slashed at it and it exploded into shards immediately. Asuna looked at her sword in shock."Woe, That is really good." she said as she brought her attention back to the other mobs.
Asuna made her way threw all of the monsters she could find around her, Slowly leveling up as she went. Finally, Asuna decided to take a quick brake. She saw a tree in a open area where the monsters around would not respond back at for a good while and Asuna knew she would be ready to fight again by then. Asuna sat down and put her sword at her side just in case. she sighed as she closed her eyes just for a short time.

Shinu, being the slight stalker that he was, watched Yumiko, though he pretended he was paying more attention to his menu. He was right about his earlier assumption, she seemed almost like a completely different person now. She was peaceful to look at, if he didn't know better he'd say she was almost innocent. "Goodnight.......Yumiko Yamada." He spoke to her as she laid down and turned her back to him. Shinu spent the next hour in his inventory, checking the durability of his gear, the amount of crystals he had left, his alchemy skill, just miscellaneous things about himself in this place. "So this is the new world huh? Binary code, data....just numbers. I never much liked the real world, but I don't plan on spending the rest of the life I have in this damn place." Shinu took one last glance at the woman, not sure what to think of her, before he too lied down, facing his back towards her and going to sleep.
The next morning Shinu woke up early, looking over at the still sleeping Yumiko, trying to asses how the night would have gone had she not begged for her life. He stood up and went to go take a shower, but he forgot, that this being a video game world he didn't actually need to shower, his body produced no odor. While that feature was neat an all, he still felt a little odd about it. He wasn't really sure what to do next, its not like she was his friend but he didn't really feel with just ditching her their so he decided he'd wait. For the time being, Shinu decided he'd work on his alchemy. He equipped normal clothing, went to a table and accessed his inventory, pulling out hundreds of ingredients he had gathered during missions. He diced up herbs, crushed them into powder, mixed them with other ingredients. He was creating healing powder, poison and paralysis immunity potions, and different damage over time poisons. Until Yumiko woke up he decided he'd progress his stats and inventory for the next mission. "You know what I see in those gray splotches? Fun and I love it. What you think is bizarre I think is awesome, if that makes me crazy then I don't wanna be sane, at least I'm not boring like you."
