The mirror caught her eye again, and now she was certain things were strange. Her bloodpusher raced. She didn't want to be cornered by any of the ghosts in this mansion, knowing how dangerous they all were. Breathing deep, she tried to alleviate the panic but to no avail. She felt cornered and alone.

One of the training dummies dropped to the floor in front of Odette, and then the floor buckled underneath it, making it fall through the floor. The redblood made a soft gasp, looking for the exit. Surely the ghost was threatening her now, and she wasn't going to let it get her. She sprinted for the door, hoping nothing else would hinder her leaving.

As she was rushing out of the room, a ceiling tile fell on her and burst into a powdery mist. Shaken and panicked, Odette didn't waste any more time in the room. She left through the first door she could get open, not caring which way it took her outside.

2. HAZARD: The only way to pass one of the rifts in the ground is by climbing a very unsafe looking metal ladder that's barely hanging onto the wall. Do you risk it?

Fletch was on his own for now, having waited around for a bit outside for members of his team and having none appear. He assumed they were either still in the catacombs below, or were taking a rest or had gone exploring without him. No hard feelings, he told himself. After all, he had been in the catacombs a good while.

He blinked as something glinted, and he picked up a tangle of metal. Lock....picks? They looked like them, anyway. These could potentially be useful, he guessed, and stuck them in his satchel.

Fletch eyed the ladder, then where he was trying to get to. He could climb the ladder, but frankly it looked ready to topple at any moment. What might work, however...Hm. Shame he'd left his pole at home, really. Oooh that'd work. Picking up a pipe from the debris, he used it to launch himself onto the ladder mid-way, then ride it downwards as it toppled from the wall, only to land triumphantly on the other side.

A grin split his face as he landed - a little roughly perhaps - and he bowed to an imaginary audience.

Fletch looked around this new section of floor, only to pause as he caught sight of something in the mirror. He frowned, peering closer. What was tha- he turned round with a snarl to face.....nothing? Nothing? He looked back to the now empty-save-for-himself mirror.

....his fins tipped downwards as he swallowed. That and the push earlier...maybe there was something here.

It'd been a while since he'd last caught sight of a mirror, and when the double-figure appeared this time Fletch's breathing hitched up, and his fins wibbled - as did his bottom lip. Maybe he shouldn't have come to this area alone. He'd certainly felt safer when he was with the bigger group.

Fletch continued to search, but he was a little tense, and whilst he thought he found something, it was just an oddly-coloured patch of dirt. To be honest, looking around it didn't seem like there was much left in this block. One more sweep and then he'd leave.

Oooh, another ladder.....Fletch didn't think jumping on it was the best move this time though, it looked sturdier than the last ladder, and there was no pipe for him to vault himself with. Still, he bet he could do it! he nimbly clambered the ladder which creaked and groaned alarmingly, but he did indeed make it to the other side.

Still hadn't found anything useful, though!

In the end, it wasn't a ladder that did him in, despite his propensity for leaping at them, and climbing unsteady hunks of metal. Nope. Fletch was actually heading for the exit, done with his final sweep of this (in his own words) creepy-a** husk of a room, when one of the tiles just split under his feet and tumbled him back into the catacombs.
