With cheeks just at ad red over the embarrassment of ever having thought to run away, Coello grew firm behind Rei's dedication. "Yeah!" He piped up with an inflated chest before looking back to Mina who had drawn his attention with her query. "Oh, uhm..." He stuttered in between talking and playing with the tips of his ears. "Well, basically I like to travel a lot and while I was in this savannah place he just went and lounged right at me! So I didn't what anyone woulda done and just smacked him with my hammer. Only problem is as soon as he came to he started spouting off about how beautiful I was, how he liked how I was pink, stuff like that, and that I should be his queen. Like I'm perfectly happy where I'm at now! I got rid of him last time by giving him so really dumb requirements like counting all the blades of grass in the desert or something like that, I can't remember what I said specifically. Why? What were you guys thinking of trying?"
From across from the trio of tumblers, the king quickly grew impatient at their deliberations. "Speak now! Does this child answer for you all of you?" While his question seemed directed at Mina, the lion's eyes only lingered on Coello. Clearly expecting the bunny to follow up on his promise.

Lightning burst through the ground! It's static cling sought it's way to the wolf who was busy with his own chakra molding to move. A wince could be seen on his face as he excepted the attack to only damage and not to paralyze him. Still, if it meant keeping others from the platform then forgoing defending was a worthy sacrifice in the heat of the moment. Falling like an executioner's axe, Sumika's word had no problem finding its mark in the iron sand trapped wolf. However as the condensed ebony blade pierced its body, its movements did not stop. Instead, now he sat there, the stone erupting underneath him and pinning the creature to the ground but did not kill him!
The wolf head now completely erased from existence, struggled to create a pained cry but only came spitting out as a gurgling noise. The two shadowy arms and legs remained planted failed about incessantly, such that it was could have been easy to mistake their movements as anything BUT the casting the of ninjutsu. That is until the earth beneath the shadow erupted into a violent explosion meant to spew the little mole Yashima into the air. Into the air near enough that were he caught, both he and Hasaki could be caught into enveloping winds that yanked them forcibly back down to the ground.

The rocks themselves only cont for C rank in collisions.
Flower Scattering Dance [ Hana Chirimai ] | Rank A Similar to other wind manipulation techniques with the exception that this may be used on organic materials. After forming the needed hand seals, the user creates a spinning vortex of fuuton chakra manifestations that resemble flower petals, though they may take any physical appearance the user wishes. This vortex then engulfs their target, first disorienting their target by inflicting the vertigo status, and then slamming them into nearby objects. To be clear, these winds currents are capable of controlling the movement of an opponent (lifting them up, pulling them back into the air as they fly downwards, etc) with the rank of chakra paid to be its power for collisions and a measure for how much damage caused when pushed into another object. This jutsu, unless pushing someone into something, can deal no damage on its own. When used against [ Solo flight ] it gains an extra rankโs worth in strength for controlling their movements.

Muddy, murky, and most importantly filthy, did the trail grow until it very obviously started to become clear that this was by no means a normal sort of mud! To those that could sense or see chakra, they would be able to see the mud at their feet for the truth that it was, a special type of chakra created mud. To those without? They would see the mud very slowly rise like a tide rolling in until they either moved into the tress or their feet were stuck glued to the surface. Mysteriously, there could be no soul in existence anywhere near the group, other than those they were already conversing with of course.

Swamp of the Underworld [ Yomi Numa ] | Rank A After forming the required string of hand signs, a vast swamp forms that covers up to a fifty foot area the user targets. Trapped enemies find it hard to move through the thick goop that comprises the surface, reducing anyone within the swamps agility and speed by [2]. The sludge of the swamp negates the Water Walking jutsu within its bounds, and persists for five of the user's posts. By paying an S+ amount of chakra, the user can morph an entire topic into a swamp.

Starch Syrup Capture Field [ Mizuame Nabara ] | Rank C After forming the needed hand seals, the user will expel a sticky liquid from the gullet from a range of up to [30] feet. This liquid can cover approximately [30] feet. If the target runs on top of the liquid, their feet will become glued to its sticky surface. If the Shinobi focuses chakra to their feet before touching the surface, they can hover above and move over it without hindrance. This allows the user or a comrade to charge and attack without fear of becoming bogged down as well. Requires using the Water Walking technique to move about on top of the liquid. Prevents dodging and evasive techniques if stepped on. If wearing footwear can abandon said footwear to evade, if not, the target is locked in place unless expending a B-ranked amount of Stamina to break free. However, will often lead to injury on the bottoms of the feet in doing so.
Sumika scowled as she and Ink Eyes both fixated on different targets. The ground tremor might spit Yashima out of the ground and onto the surface, but it'd do little else. It's rocks would reign down on the jutsu's creator instead as the old rat's spirit routine possessed the jutsu and turned it back on its source. "Quite the grotesque beast." He said, with a hint of admiration in his voice. Nothing like a rat to admire the horrific spectacle the alpha was currently. His summoner did not have time for casual conversation however. The other two members of her squad would experience what it was like to sense chakra via sage techniques, just for moment. While they'd likely had a impending sense of dread as a result for a while, they'd feel it closer now as a new source made itself known as intending to do harm. Not exactly a cat she wanted out of the bag, but there was a chance they wouldn't even notice it.
The smoke from the Tanikage was like a chill creeping up Sumika's spine though. Unmissable. Slightly familiar. Nah. The puppeteer was airborne just ahead of it, hands clasping together before she fizzled away into the ether and reappeared next to Seika. "Hold on tight!" Sumika's tone was that of giddy excitement but this was not really an invitation. She'd all but backed herself into the medic as she readied her technique, and not holding on now would mean being sent careening away as the diminutive woman blasted off towards the platform. Hopefully her squadmate wasn't entirely thrown for a loop by a simple body flicker, because a moment later a massive burst of wind propelled Sumika away from the smoke. She'd arc into the sky, and then turn her Assassin's Rush towards the platform, assuming the other Genin hadn't completely missed the mark. Hopefully the wolf having its own technique turned against it would stop anything else in its tracks for the time being, and whoever produced that smoke would be knocked down long enough to facilitate their arrival on the platform.

"So he did make a promise," Rei thought behind his half-lidded eyes, "How complicated."
"Eyes on your opponent, you swine of a lion." Mildly irritated, Rei stepped between the lion and the rabbit once again. Once again obstructing the view of the predatory king. His demand, clearly, was not a request. He drew his sword in accompaniment to his words. He very fancily drew his sword. With a flick of his left thumb, the katana flew out of the sheath as he crossed over to his teammate, and was caught mid-stride by the suddenly appearing right hand. There was no rest in the performance. As soon as the sword was caught, the right hand began spinning it, fingers deftly slipping and maneuvering around the handle to rotate the sword around the palm of his hand as he brought it over and above his head in a wide arc in a flash of metal and speed. He faced the larger lion head-on and chest forward to look a big as possible. Using the stretch of his arm and the reach of the twirling sword, the performer further tried to match the hulking king's size, like a small animal puffing up their fur to intimidate a much larger enemy. Rei ended his display of dominance in a final, swift slash down his side that exhibited cleanly his skill. With this performance, and the chakra he sent through it, he wanted to slow the lion kings mind and body with awe, fascination, or even trepidation if he could achieve that. He wanted to distract that single-minded focus on Coello and direct it at himself instead. [Enhancing Song [ Kyลka no Uta ]]
With a fluourish, Rei brought the sword back up in a direct line to shoulder height, more chakra funneling through his every movement. His white hair swayed gently in the breeze the sudden movement generated. Holding the sharp weapon straight and away from his body, the cold-faced genin utilized the same tricks as before--a forward-facing body and using his arm and sword length to increase the space he took up--to look larger than he was. The sword paused in that straight line with the shoulder for a moment before, while breathing in slowly, Rei brought it up and over until his blade pointed to the heavens in a line directly above his head. With a simple turn of the wrist, the light glinted off the sharp edge that turned from sideways facing to forward facing. Slowly and deliberately, Rei breathed out as he lowered the sword to the front of his body and grasped it before him with both hands. The paper-thin edge divided his face perfectly in two, the face he kept lifted high in defiance to the lion's perceived authority, a defiance shared by the tip of the sword and the just as sharp glare of the boy that aimed as one at the king's adam apple. Cocky with his own performance, Rei thought to himself, "Who made you king of anything? as he deigned to throw the king down a notch, sap him of his strength, make him weak in the knees. Adding function to the dramatic form, his weaker foot stepped forward and his stronger foot shifted pointed perpendicular to accommodate the Nagareru Shisei of the phantom blade style. [Flowing Stance [ Nagareru Shisei ]]
Speaking in a low voice that betrayed hints of a growl, Rei clearly stated his thoughts so no lily-footing can be excused, "It would be dishonorable of us to pass the exams with the skills of an outsider, but we would be mocking the examiners who worked so hard to balance this opportunity for us if we were to conceitedly think we could finish with one fewer teammates. Claim whatever disputes you may have with Coello later. Now, move. Lest we make you." As if to put substance behind his words, Rei channeled his chakra through his body
In truth, he was scared. He had been taught, for his protection, how to gauge the strength of his adversary. It was an imperfect and inaccurate skill in the world of ninjas, filled as it was with smokes and mirrors. However, it was a nonetheless useful skill to have for such times like now, when the foe was so boisterous and blinded by his own pride. The lion was clearly out of his league, but they would need to fight (and win) if they wanted to pass to the next stage. Whether they fought now or later was really just a matter of how much time they wished to waste, and the last thing Rei wanted to be was last place.

โฐ Enhancing Song [ Kyลka no Uta ] | Rank B | Ninjutsu [ Spiritual ] x2 on Mr. E621. Lower Reflexes and Strength. Drain stamina... uh... twice, apparently because I realized only while typing thist that I can't drain chakra with this technique. The max rank this technique can be used is based on the userโs body rank. This user performs their performance of choice upon a target. The target either feels empowered or weakened. The genjutsu causes a single stat of the userโs choice to either be enhanced or dampened by [2] at E-C Rank and by [4] at B-S+ rank. In addition, enemies begin a stamina drain at their body rank for the a single post per body rank of the user. Allies regenerate chakra or stamina at the same rate.
โฐ Flowing Stance [ Nagareru Shisei ] | Rank E | Simple Flowing Stance sets the swordsman's feet in an L stance, where the weaker foot points forward in front of them and their stronger foot points away to the left or right depending on the foot and behind them. The swordsman's weapon is held in a defensive position in front of them. Any single sword style technique that is executed from this stance have their costs reduced by stamina per rank of the technique.
"Aw, gee! But five inches isn't much at all! Give me a chance, why won't you?~" Jack smiled big, eyes closing with the stretch of her mouth. With the giggling that slipped through her teeth, it was hard to tell how serious she was about her interest in Hasaki. Letting her partner do the leading, Jack hummed in compliance to the instructions given and just all around fooled around too much. Whether it be making some unneeded noise or giving a cheerfully glib yet inane statement, she really wasted all of the little time they had. She didn't really have a good time to ask for the seal now that she was assured, and there was even less of a good time for Hasaki, who had been burdened with all the heavy thinking, to remake her offer.
Wondering what Hasaki would do now that they were almost to the end, Jack crouched on the ground with both hands cupping her cheeks as she watched the plan unfold. Retreat and avoid was what it was, to sum it up. Since they were a group of four downed to two, the genin could understand, and she nodded in understanding. You know, once she came back to earth after shooting to the stratosphere of amazement with "oohs" and "aaaahs" galore as she saw the creation of a bird from mere words and chants alone. "Was that a prayer just now? Your religion gives you powers like this?" Jack the jabbermouth jabbered her mouth off as she climbed aboard and, taking advantage of Hasaki's offer, hugged her from behind very tightly around her waist to bring the two of them close togethe, "That is so pretty. Have I told you that your tattoos are so pretty? This bird too! Oh, by the way, if we fall, I'll catch you, promise~ I have the fuuton element, after all, so I can do some stuff in the air. That way, we won't have to step on your cute little ferrets backs and hurt them. Oh, are we taking off? Right now? Kyaaaa. This is so exciting. Um, this is my first time, you know, so please be gentle?~".
It's a good thing that Jack was hugging Hasaki from behind or else I don't know how I would even begin to start describing all of the different faces she shifted through in the few minutes her rocket mouth got all of those words out. It didn't even sound like she had time to breathe with everything she said, but maybe her partner was used to this already. After all, this had pretty much been Jack for their whole, not sneaky way through the forest.
Hasaki had told her to be careful. That the acceleration might very well thrown her off, and though Jack didn't seem like it, she did heed that warning with all seriousness.
Therefore, when in the middle of the ascent, someone suddenly appeared out of nowhere to glomp her and clumsily dropped a smoke ball, completely understandable considering they were flying fast who knows how many meters up in the air, that very luckily exploded on the small space left on the bird, Jack's lightning reaction was understandable. She saw the blonde hair. She heard the voice like sunshine. She felt the warm hug. The smoke bomb exploded, and though blinded, Jack could feel the third body suddenly distance itself. Not waiting to confirm if their apparently third team member was really going to let go or was just moving a little bit away, Jack stopped hugging Hasaki's waist and instead reached out to firmly grasp the other woman's arm. She turned around, so now that her back was to her first teammate clothed in green, while also pulling Usagi in close. "Why, hello angel," the never silent Jack always had something to say it seemed, even when she couldn't see through the combination of smoke and eclipse, "The weather is so lovely and dark today that I never imagined we would get a sudden summer shower of beautiful women~". It seemed this partner was also taller than Jack, but having to look up didn't stop this bold genin from wrapping her arm around the other woman's waist and hold her as the man in a dance pair.
After giving Usagi a wink, Jack looked to her side and down, where she still couldn't see, but she could imagine they were right above the wolf. Behind her, she could feel Hasaki's back. In front of her, she held Usagi in her hands. "Hasaki, I found a team member~" Jack reported seriously(?). Though, her voice didn't sound serious at all, "And since we have three, I think we should really show what we're made out of. After all, this is the exams. When else am I going to get the chance to show off to cute girls?!". It was almost scary how genuinely excited Jack sounded about the prospect of showing off.
No doubt, however, what came next was even scarier. Without further ado, Jack leaned way far too one side and slid off the bird like a smooth criminal. A smooth criminal with a fair maiden in her arms. The two quickly plummeted through the smoke cloud (if they hadn't already flown through it) and towards the top of the wolf. Giving only a wolfish grin, Jack hugged Usagi close to her to minimize any damage to her hapless victim in case her recklessness went awry. Three things happened then in that short time. First, Jack shifted her hold on Usagi, gently pushing her head down so that she would have a clear aim at the wolf the two dropped towards headfirst. Then, her hands casting one-handed seals while moving along Usagi's body, the temperature dropped by several degrees as the pressure increased with the High Air Pressure Technique. Finally, while all this happened, Jack took in a deep breath of air as more hand signs molded her chakra into her lungs, empowering the air within until it expanded within her chest and, when she couldn't hold it in anymore, the pale woman showed Usagi and Hasaki that that mouth could really do. She screamed out the explosive ball of fuuton chakra, a bad habit of hers in battle and elsewhere, and released the Explosion technique to wreck havoc on the wolf.
When all was over, the momentum of expelling the ball of air spun Jack to her feet, and she activated the Solo Flight Technique to remain aloft and out of the wolf's jaws. Her breaths came out heavily, and despite the way she tried to show off with a smile like what she had done was no sweat, there was indeed small beads of sweat on Jack's face. Hey, she may have been the one who decided to fall off, but doing that was still a little nerve-wracking, you know?

โฐ Explosion [ Bakuhatsu ] | Rank C The user gathers a large amount of wind into the lungs and expels a highly explosive three-foot-wide ball of wind. This wind forms a torpedo shape when launched and is nearly invisible and denies opponents their agility stat when attempting to dodge it.
โฐ Solo Flight [ Tandokuhikou ] | Rank A This technique grants the user the ability of controlled flight, while flying the user is considered to be using an evasive technique and can outrun any ninjutsu itโs rank or lower than this technique. The flight effect from this technique lasts for five posts before an upkeep of half itโs chakra cost must be paid to keep the jutsu going. When used against [ Flower Scattering Dance ] it loses a rankโs worth in strength in itโs collision against it.

Even with Rei standing in the way, the king did not immediately re-affix his gaze. Instead, he let it linger, its weight moving beyond what was in front of him so that it might scream out "Even behind a shield you are not safe from my sight." and all he had to do was deal with the little bird that had come strutting before him. As if he were anything to a king. With all the lazily interest that could be excepted from one who was so egocentric, the lion beheld the blade singing genin's performance just enough to form a critical opinion of it. Unlike Rei, who was already well along the path of a shinobi, The King's viewpoint did not come from any sort of battle sense or secret estimations of opponents by how they stood. Barbaric with a sense of honor, he worked on himself and thew all that he had at enemies until they were crushed under heel. A philosophy that he would display here as well!
Dropping both daggers at his side, the lion prepared himself to do battle, though perhaps not the same kind that Rei would have had in mind. "Aha! I see that you are versed in the... how you say, more graceful art. I can appreciate this white one. Now let me show you how we do battle in my country!" In heavy contrast to Rei's own stance, the King did not take up any sort of footing, at least none that could be considered study. Instead, he rocked back and forth on a single foot whilst crouching low to the ground. While this diminished his size, it was made up for by countless. sudden and indecipherable spins and kicks. Many of which were based around briefly holding oneself a loft via a single hand and accumulating as much momentum as possible.
It didn't take long for the lion 's body to begin to glisten with sweat from the exertion., not that it would take away from his dance when seemingly every move was made to highlight his best features. In between breathes, the King spoke. "Tell me, do you know of my people white one? Of course you do not. We were slaves, nothing but fodder to toil in the heat. Under the gaze of the taskmaster, we practiced this our martial art disguised as dance." Interrupting his own Sentance, the lion broke away from the end of Rei's blade only to return the genin's threatening gesture with one of his won, a cartwheel kick that threw his body so high off the ground that his leg passed over the edge of the weapon. "We still practice the movements handed down to us, a tool of how easy the line between fighting and peace can be. Come now! Show me your spirit!"

โUh-huh. Yup. Yeah, totally.โ Mina nodded along to Coello explaining his history with the lion before them. Was she listening? Yes. Did she remember any of it? Absolutely not. Mina was entranced by how Coello played with his bunny ears. They were so cute, and sproingy! She stared at them in awe while she spoke, resisting the urge to reach out and play with them herself. Once it registered heโd asked a question, however, Mina shook her head and started to focus again. โNo reason,โ She shrugged. With the lion man directing his growling questions at her, Mina didnโt seem like she was giving him any attention. โIt seemed like you knew him, so I was hoping youโd know how to take him out and get him off of our backs." Mina sighed and looked over at the exchange. Rei seemed like he had it handled, and his display even boosted Minaโs energy level a little. He was graceful and deliberate and the redhead seemed to be mesmerized by his movements. The way she fought was much more movement based and far less graceful. Her second most experienced fighting style was Kotori and she could forget the Hyuuga doing anything with such grace. Just thinking about Kotori SMASH made her smile.
So when she saw the lion's movements, Mina was blown away. His fighting style seemed so rhythmic yet powerful. And all of his strikes missed Rei, but it seemed like it was on purpose. โWhoaaa,โ She breathed when it came to an end. โSo is this what weโre doing?โ Mina smirked and took a few steps past Rei, gently placing a hand on his back to let him know she was moving forward. โMind if I give it a shot?โ Mina slammed her fist into her hand and summoned her chakra, her body glowing like it was lit up with her crimson flame from the inside. Then the chairs quickly shot back, pulling the ball of wind into Usagiโs outstretched arm, seemingly pulling the jutsu into her own body with them! โThatโs big talk from the one letting the girl take the first swing!โ She sneered. With an effort of chakra, Usagi whipped her arm out at Chosuke, unsealing the ball of wind sheโd captured from Miyuki. The Kage grabbed a shuriken from her belt with her free hand and focused chakra through it,, placing another seal of the Flying Thunder God on it. โDonโt think I forgot about you, ya hag!โ She yelled out, whipping her shuriken hand at Miyuki and releasing the metal projectile straight at her at B Rank Speed for C Rank Damage. โYou havenโt known fashion in over a decade!โ Usagi hadn't moved much if at all from next to Kujaku as she rose up from the slight couch she'd done when attacking Miyuki. "If that's the best ya got, then there's definitely gonna be a lesson. So prepared to get schooled!"
First Action: โฐ Chakra Chains: Armed [ Kemono Fuuin: Shitai ] | Rank D l Variable (Cast and Released at B Rank) From the user's body sprouts dozens of metal chains which are molded solely by chakra. Despite their metal look they are not magnetic. The chains move to the whims of the user and can be used offensively or defensively. If the chains come into collision with a ninjutsu of equal or lower rank to the chains then the chains may envelop the technique and seal it away, causing the technique to manifest into one of the user's scrolls. The user can then fire the technique back at the opponent by paying the same cost of the technique sealed. If these chains bind an opponent then the opponent is drained of chakra and stamina equal to half of the rank the chains are used at. Equal rank of chakra is then required to break free from the chains. These chains last for two post per rank used.
Pressure Damage [ Atsugai ] | Rank B The user inhales and then releases a massive projectile made of compressed Fuuton Chakra. When the projectile makes contact with anything, it explodes into a swirling vortex of wind powerful enough to scatter gusts of wind in every direction in about a twenty by twenty-foot square. If the user wishes, they may hide a sub effect in the center of the jutsu that is released upon the wind blasts destruction. These effects may range from anything to poison to be spread through an airborne means, or to a katon or suiton jutsu that releases its effect upon impact. Jutsu that are placed within the wind shell is clearly visible as a small ball in the center and are increased by [1] rank in potency.

The user coats their weapon in a haunting demonic appearing chakra, creating a solid blade of chakra atop their original blade with up to a one foot extension. This technique requires an upkeep cost of two ranks below the executed rank with an E Rank minimum. In addition, the user is able to swing their blade, allowing it to send the chakra blade coating their own flying five feet per rank of the technique. Objects containing chakra that are sliced with this skill while attached to the user's real weapon have chakra absorbed equal to the upkeep cost of this technique and is automatically used to pay for the next posts upkeep.

As Masato leapt away, the Emperor watched him with a curious gaze. His piercing gaze focused through the man's aura and into that of a familiar presence, an old friend. He saw Kurama buried beneath the bulking exterior of a brusque mountain man whose allegiance fell now to Lahlil. An inquisitive, though destructive fox, buried inside of a brick wall of a man who was entirely too large to be human, thought entirely too easy on the eyes as well.
Masahiro sensed something in the man's peering eyes, something he took a few moments to linger upon. Was it distaste? Was it surprise? Many had told Masahiro, since he had taken over the seat from his now dearly departed Uncle, that he was not what they had expected in a man leading the Empire. He was not a simple legislator, at all, though he took well in stride to partake in the writing of legislation and the study of Law that it may be just. He was not the purely raw physical force that young Masato was, at least not outwardly. He had inured himself in that world for many of his fifty-three years and while his extended lifespan would put him through at least another seventy comfortably, he did not seek to impose by physical force alone any longer.

As the environ around him changed, the white-haired man sighed and kicked his feet out. Chakra surged through his form and with his second step back stones rose beneath him to form an earthen throne with the seal of the Fire Empire carved in the head of it. His eyes looked to the others as he grabbed the tablet once more and began to focus more intently on the fray once more. He motioned for Shiro the White Mamba to join him on the throne.
"Lahlil, your gambit is going to be costly, in one direction or another, and sending another jinchuuriki into the fray could be... I'll say interesting for lack of better commentary for now. The real one walked off somewhere else and seems lost. Hehheh!' Her inner laugh was cut short as she tuned in to the phony's taunting, mostly just to try and determine where they were moving around to. Then a new realization struck her. 'To the trees, right now!' Kotori jumped to a low branch that she had her sight on before the darkness took her vision. Although only slightly wobbly, she managed a very agile landing and immediately returned her attention to their surroundings as best she could manage in her state. 'The mud's got chakra flowing through it now! Kotori thinks it was a trap.' She had no idea if her teammates had successfully heeded her warning in time, but if so then they'd narrowly avoid the raining blades from the faux Thresher's technique. Unfortunately for Usagi, this muddy trap would gradually also engulf her specially marked swords- especially the ones she was standing upon.
Kotori still couldn't tell where the mysterious infiltrator was yet. "Kotori is gonna beat you up extra hard for hiding from Kotori!" Her threat rang out into the battlefield and echoed among the trees. Her Gentle Fist stance tightened as she focused inwardly. The revitalizing energies of the Gate of Healing continued to supply Kotori with ample power to serve as a jumping point for the stress she was about to subject her body to win as decisively as possible. Chakra flowed through her system and unleashed the power sealed behind the third of the Hachimon, the Gate of Life. "Extra extra hard for being a liar!" The air around Kotori began to stir with reddish wisps of her chakra as she bared her tiny but sharp fangs; the gusts were tearing several leaves from any branches nearby her current perch. The paleness of the Byakugan almost seemed to fade into an even more pure white, and Kotori's skin became a flushed red from toe to scalp. The girl's hair tie snapped and let her long hair flow wildly around her. "Super duper extra hard for being mean to Inohachi!" The last of the Hachimon located on her spine was released, causing her deceptively petite frame's muscle tones to became more defined with the released limiter on her physical output. Kotori was well-aware that the Gate of Pain came with tremendous drawbacks, but she was always more than prepared to endure some pain to win any fight. For a girl with an apparent attention deficiency Kotori appeared almost terrifyingly focused when it came to combat. From her clan's traditional fighting stance, Kotori blindly reached out to her surroundings with marginally enhanced senses while she waited for the enemy to be revealed or for their hostile intent to leave.
