Planet Guardians: Clash of the Titans

Kiyoshi climbed out of bed, feeling tired rather than refreshed. He yawned and stretched, heading for the shower. He pretty much had the same routine every morning.

After breakfast, he drove over to the neighborhood where baby Hotaru was being nutured, pausing to park the car in a nearby park and go for a walk by her house to check up on her.

After a bit of snooping to determine that everything was okay, he got back in his car and returned home.  

[Christica]

Karin walked out of the bathroom, nothing but a towe was covering her body. AS she walked into the bedroom, Ceres ran out. She closed the door and dropped the towel as she began to dress.

Ceres sat in the kitchen and watched as Karin came out of her room dressed in her work uniform. He watched as she made them breakfast.

After breakfast, Karin took Ceres and walked out of their little home. She decided to stop by the park before she went to check on her ward. She let out a small laugh as she discovered her ward at the park. Seeing that they were fine, she headed off to the cafe.

Ceres decided to walk around town. He did make sure to stay close to the cafe, though.

Kohana frantically made her way around her small bedroom apartment, as she tried to find her work clothes. She was running twenty minutes late for when she was suppose to go and check on Setsuna. If she didn't hurry she would miss her before she left to go to school, and she would be late for work. Around five minutes later of searching she finally found some clothes to wear which consisted of tan cargo pants, and a white t-shirt.

Grabbing her key to the apartment, and her cellphone she soon sprinted out the door. Luckily her apartment was only a block or two from Setsuna's home, and her work was just a little ways past that. She just hoped that she was wasn't to late in getting there.

By the time she got outside and made her way down the street, she had caught sight of Setsuna boarding the bus to get to her school. She looked to be doing alright, as she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. Now all she had to worry about for the moment was getting to work on time.

-------meanwhile at Io Castle-------

Eurydice and Arietis were glad Araceli seemed to be who Taranis told them she was. They waiting in Io Castle for her arrival but had misgivings about the whole situation.

"Tara seems very happy about this." Arietis said. "You'd think she'd be more worried about Cronos being upset about us defecting. I mean we haven't heard anything. Do you think he'd forget what we did just like that? Maybe he already knew we were only in this to get Tara a planet of her own." He frowned. "I'm just anxious he'll go after her. She has nothing to do with this."

"You talk... and think too much." Eurydice brushed a long strand of hair away from her face. "So he comes and kills us. What of it? Its not like we can't be born again. We just can't be born to our planets again. We'll have to wait for new stars, but we'll come back again. Cronos is just afraid. And too much of a coward to fight his own battles." She paced a few steps forward. Arietis wrapped his arms around her from behind.

"I don't like waiting" he said nuzzling the side of her face. She reached up and patted his head like a puppy. Tara came into the room and blushed in embarassment at seeing her parents. She looked away. Then down at here feet. She held a pink rose in her hand, eager to give it to Araceli, should she show up.

"Please come..." she whispered under her breath.  

[Darkness Cake]

Araceli appeared at the entrance to Io Castle, a place she was VERY familiar with. She wasn't sure which room they were at, so she wandered around till she spotted Arietis and Eurydice. Her eyes scanned and caught sight of familiar red hair. "...Tara..." She muttered.  

[Darkness Cake]

"Araceli?!" Tara's voice perked up. She stood up and looked Araceli over. "You haven't changed a bit..." She smiled and blushed. Then, she held out rose. "This is for you."

Araceli's eyes filled with tears. "Oh Tara!" She ran over and hugged Tara tightly. "I can't believe it! I never thought I'd see you again!!!" She cried. Tara held Araceli tightly. Around Tara, Araceli didn't have to be so strong... Tara was always the strong one...

"Love? We need to talk. I want to hear everything that's happened! Let's go to the Arboretum to talk." Tara grasped her love's hand and pulled her away. "We'll be right back!" She called to her parents.  

[Lacroia]

Arietis and Eurydice moved to the entrance of the Arboretum after Araceli and Taranis entered. In silent agreement they stood on either side ot it and sat down.

"You think this will make her happy?" Arietis looked over to his love. "Do you think we could be happy here? There is nowhere left for us to go."

"Theres nowhere we need to be. Tara has grown up."Eurydice smiled. "Maybe we should move to that little blue planet. It seems a nice enough place." For people with nothing to loose we sure seem content. Both of them sat and contemplated how nice it would be to find somewhere safe. Where fighting wasn't needed.  

[Darkness Cake]

The two girls talked, mainly Araceli, about what has happened between their last encounter (as well as Tara's death). Both were surprised as how little each other had changed.

Kohana miracuosly managed to get to work on time, though not even five minutes of being there she recieved a premonition. She had been in the back room changing when the whole room began seemed to be begin to spin. The floor appeared to fly out from underneath her to be replaced with that of a most familiar place. She immediatly recognized her surroudnings as Io castle. She began to inspect her surroudings, wondering why she was having a premonition of this place, to see Araceli and another girl with auburn hair up in a pony tail sitting together under a tree. Everything seemed to be peaceful as the two girls were conversing with one another.

From her location she couldn't make out exactly what they were saying, so she began to make her way towards them. Something soon caught her attention as she caught sight of a portal opening up behind them. A senshi with short purple hair and some sort of topknot pony tail exits the portal. She appeared to be caring two gavels, as she proceeds to walk towards the entrance of the arboretum, away from the girls. Quietly Sailor Theia and another senshi with pink hair in high braids come out of the portal and follow after her. Araceli and the other girl remain oblivious but stand up after they hear a scream.

The scream had caught her off gaurd, as she began to sprint towards where it had come from. Much to her surprise though she found herself go flying backwards with a sudden jerk. She ended up falling backwards onto her back so she was staring up at the ceiling of the back room of her work. Scrambling to her feet, she quickly grabbed for her cell phone on the bench nearby as she punched in Araceli's number to recieve no reply. She then quickly sent a text to the others telling them to meet her at her work immediatly, with the words 'it's urgent' capatalized in big bold font.

Kiyoshi had barely gotten home when Kohana's message reached him. He turned around and went right back out, his expression grim as he went directly there. He left his car in a nearby parking lot and walked into the place looking for her.

Kohana had been sitting behind the counter, fidgeting with her cellphone when Kiyoshi arrived. She was just about to send another message to everyone when he walked in.

"Kiyoshi!" She practically shouted, as she jumped up from her spot and made her way over towards him. She couldn't help but look out the door to see if she could see any sign of the others before turning her attention towards him.

"There's been another premonition, and I have reason to believe that Araceli might be in danger." She whispered to him, as she waited to see his response.

Kiyoshi had learned to trust Kohana's premonitions over the years. He simply gave her a long look and nodded in agreement. "We'd better give the others a few minutes before we go charging in to rescue her."  

[Christica]

Karin was serving a costumer when her cellphone vibrated. She smiled at the costumer and went into the kitchen. She opened up the phone to see that there was an emergency happening. I have to make hurry... She went to her manager. "Excuseme... There's an emergency and I need to go." Luckily for her, she had a kind and sweet manager and he understood and let her leave.

She ran out of the cafe, not even bothering to change into her street clothes. SHe ran down the street and towards Kohana's work. Ceres followed behind her. They slid to a stop as an officer directing traffic around an accident stopped Karin.

Being small and a fox, Ceres decided to keep going. He passed the accident and went into an alley, changing into his human form. He came back out and went into Kohana's work and looked around for her.

"Please officer, I need to get through." Karin tryed desperately to get by.

"Sorry, miss, but you're going to have to find another way to your destination."

Kohana nodded in agreement with Kiyoshi. It wouldn't hurt to wait a couple seconds longer, seeing how her premonitions usually gave her a bit of a notice before the actual thing occured, though she wished they would hurry up. She didn't know for sure how long they had, before it would happen.

As she was just about to give up waiting, and bring Kiyoshi towards the back room to tell him what happened she caught sight of Ceres. She quickly made her way over towards him, as he had just barely made his way in the door.

"Ceres-kun where's Karin-chan?" She immediatly asked, as she had noticed that she wasn't anywhere in sight.
