Favorite Ending? (Possible Spoilers)

Probably because there was only one and it was pretty simple? I dunno... I liked it, it just wasn't my favorite.

Yeah...but any ending is better than the RE1 ending...at least that's my opinion.

What I believe Capcom did with the RE1 ending was leave it open. I mean, who the ******** can tell if a game is going to do good and should have a sequel? No one. So they choose that ending, unsure if they were going to create another. But if you think about it, 3 pretty much ended this way too. I mean, Jill got out of the city, with Carlos and flies off. Pretty ******** simple. Now RE0, you knew what the ending was going to be like, it'd be something that lead up to RE1. RE2's ending however left room for a sequel.

Actually, RE3 left room for a sequal too. The way she said "That's it, now Umbrella has gone too far, they're going down." or something like that...plus with all the epilogues it definitly left room for a sequal.

Actually, RE3 left room for a sequal too. The way she said "That's it, now Umbrella has gone too far, they're going down." or something like that...plus with all the epilogues it definitly left room for a sequal.

But a sequel wasn't definite at that point. No one except the Resident Evil developers, and Capcom knew about the epilogues. They added those in as a bonus to tell about the characters. Quick question, did you like RE3's ending? I'm not talking about the epilogues either, because those are just a bonus.

First of all, RE1 yeah, they didn't know if there was gonna be a sequel, but they could have expanded on it in REmake...

Secondly, the epilogues, although aren't a part of the direct ending, added a LOT to give us some exposition about the Aftermath of RE3.
