Holy hell, you're makng me question the existance of God. Again. sweatdrop

Seriously, is there even a way to prove that He is real? I mean, if He wants us to worship Him and everything, then can't He give us a bit more evidence of His existance? Sure, we've got the Bible and everything, but as explained in earlier posts, the Bible has been changed a lot over time and we can't be entirely sure if it's the same as it was two thousand years ago. The Bible tells us to pray, but if He doesn't answer our prayers, how are we supposed to know anyone's even listening? D:

It seems like He made it pretty hard in order to make sure He actually exists. A little too hard. crying

I didn't know most of the stuff that ya'll are discussing in this thread. I'll have to keep an eye on what's shaking in this thread.

well maybe he thinks like the God in Futurama?
If he answered all our prayers we'd become too dependent

And if he didn't answer any we'd think he doesn't exsist.

I dunno, I become agnostic over it! I don't think there's any way of knowing

What's the difference between a novel and a book? (from that site)

A book is a book. A novel is a book that tells a fictional story. And that's the stupidest question I've ever heard.

True, but you also have to look at it as in, if there is no supernatural being that we can call God, where did all of us come from? Where did the monkeys that we supposedly evolved from come from? Where did the asteroids and meteors that supposedly created this Earth come from? Where did the entire fricking universe come from? And even if you believe in the whole big bang theory - that everything was once condensed into an infinitesimal speck and exploded out into what we call the universe, where did that speck come from?

And even after all of that, even if there is a God sitting up in the sky that created everything we see and don't see, where did He come from? Was He just sitting up there for all of eternity? And if we're able to say that He was, why aren't we able to say that the entire universe was always here, that it was never created, but was always just...here?

This really is something to get your brain in gear.

I have. They all revolve around God and Jesus, I think. I need to read the Bible to understand more. D:

And now for an actual question from me xD And I can't believe that nobody's brought this up yet =O

The bible says that all humans were created in God's image, yeah? So my question is to the people who say that homosexuals go to Hell just because they're homosexual: How exactly does that fit in with your precious theory that we are all created in God's image? This was actually brought to my attention through South Park xD If there are people who are homosexual, bisexual, or even bi-curious, and we're all created in God's image, how exactly do we know that God isn't a little bi-curious himself? Who are we to say that liking another person of the same gender is wrong, just because some people don't like the idea? Because let's face it, if you're gay or bi, you're born that way. It's not like all the homosexuals of the world just woke up one day and were like "Hey, I'm going to start being attracted to people of the same gender as me, just so I can experience the fun of being called 'f*****t' 'queer' 'homo' or something else demeaning everywhere I go!" No. That's not how it happened. And if you want to prove this, you try it yourself. All the homophobes out there, tomorrow morning when you wake up, you tell yourself that and see if it actually makes you gay. It won't. So why it work for them? You retards. rolleyes

This one actually made me fall off my chair laughing:

Why when people ask you "what three things would you bring with you on a desert island?" no one ever replies, "A BOAT"

God doesn't have asexual orientation. Not that I know of. The statement "Humans are created in God's image" could be deciphered into various meanings. Personally, I think it's metaphorical. We have a sense of justice, we love, and all of that stuff. So, technically, homosexuals fit God's image in a way. Sexual orientation doesn't have much to do with it, I don't think.

This came into mind when I was at a resturant, CheeseCake Factory. Then I asked my friend about it, while holding a fork.

Have you ever wonder how may people ate from this fork alone?

I know it was a weird question, but it also got me into a deep thought. Maybe someone famous ate from this fork.

Why thank you, Black.Blob.

Maybe next time you go to a resturant, just think about the fork or the other utensils you use.

I've thought a lot about questions like those, or talked with people, usually the conversation just goes in circles...

This question, well more of a statement, was brought up in a book I read.

Lets say, that since the MOMENT you were born, everyone lied to you. Your mother, your father, your best friend in kindergarden. EVERYONE. They all lied about everything they said. If that happened, wouldn't the lie of your life become the reality of your life?

Yeah, think on that one.

That's like the movie with... Tim Allen... or whoever he is... Bruce Almight-y dude.

Why are we here? What's the meaning of life? Why are cliches so annoying to people?
