Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to post much...
My family (especially my dad) wants me to get a summer job.
For two months.
I don't really even know if any store would be willing to do that.
Since college is a 6-hr drive away, I can't exactly work at the same place during school. Not that it would be a good idea anyway. [/rant]

Aww, that sucks. D:
But if your college is like a small city-university campus with a bunch of stores, I think it would actually work out better to get a job and a dorm up there. A 6-hour commute going just up there and back home daily would be a pain in the a** and not only that, but costly too because of gas prices.

Well, right now I'm not at college ^^;;
It's just that it's two months (MAXIMUM) before college starts up again... and really, would you hire somebody if you knew they would have to leave in less than two months?
And I didn't exactly get a great GPA last year, if you know what I mean. College life isn't exactly a breeze >_>;
Getting a job on campus won't really do me any good grade-wise.
I mean, gas is the least of my concerns ._.
