Leora walked with Lance all the way to the car where she got into the back seat, simply because there was more room for her bulk back there. "Are you excited?" she asked him.

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be excited?" He asked, smiling lovingly at her as he got into the driver's seat and turned the car on before pulling out of the driveway and driving off.

Leora gave a little chuckle. "No reason. I was just asking." she said with a bit of a giggle.

Lance smiled as he drove and focused on the road. He soon arrived at a modern-looking hospital that seemed to belong to humans. It was specifically like this because if an human ever went past the border, which was very close to the hospital, unknowingly, they would see a very normal looking neighborhood inhabited by normal humans. Though if they went much farther it would only take a few minutes before a hungry vampire or demon caught their scent. The doctor Lance and Leora were here to see, he knew Alexis would pick this one, was a very good friend of his and an expert of his job. When Lance parked in the parking lot, he got out and opened his door for her with a loving smile.

Leora smiled back at him but as she got out of the car, she felt something and heard a sound, almost like a pop and then felt a wet feeling between her legs. She looked at Lance, her smile fading. "I think my water just broke . . ." she said softly.

There was a millisecond where Lance didn't move, caught by surprise by her words. Then, the surprise faded and he wrapped an arm around her instantly and pulled her to the hospital quickly. Of all times to be having their baby, he never would have imagined that she would have it now.

Leora leaned heavily against Lance as he pulled her towards the hospital. She felt a contraction, it had to be a contraction, she'd never felt anything like it before, and moaned a little before it released. She was a little bit scared to tell the truth.

Lance ignored her leaning on him and pushed through the doors of the hospital, quickly yelling that Leora was giving birth. The doctors took one look at the vampire prince and then at his wife before the hospital went into a flurry. Two nurses took Leora and placed her in a wheelchair before wheeling her down a hall way quickly. A nervous Lance stood by his wife's side, not knowing what to do really. A couple vampires stood in front of them, pushing people out of the way in the hallway so that Leora could get to a birthing room.

Leora reached up and held onto Lance's hand, smiling up at him, though she winced as she felt another contaction. "I'll . . . be okay Lance." she said in as best of a reassuring way as possible.

Lance didn't answer, he had no idea what to say, he only smiled confidently and held her hand. Then, the vampires brought Leora and Lance into a birthing room. Careful not to hurt their soon-to-be queen or anger their prince, they lifted Leora up and placed her on the table as a doctor came in.

Leora felt another contraction as she was placed on the table and winced again. She smiled at Lance quickly, letting him know that she was okay. "At least . . . our baby . . . has a good sense of timing . . ." she said with a light laugh, trying to lighten up the situation a little bit.

Lance chuckled lightly but stopped and stayed on Leora's upper-half. He couldn't stand to watch the birthing process, it made him sick. He knelt down next to her with a nervous, smile.

Leora smiled as best she could at Lance, but her face soon became one of pain as she had to push as her baby started to make it's way out. Once out the doctors cut the umbelical cord and pronounced him a boy before another nurse said that she could see the head of another baby coming. To Leora it really didn't matter. She was in pain and she wanted her baby, or babies, out!

Lance ignored the nurse saying Leora was having another baby and focused on his pained wife. "It'll be alright, Leora, it will be over soon." He said soothingly into her ear, hoping it would help slightly.

Leora tried her best to smile, though it showed more as some sort of grimace. She pushed again and her hand went to grip Lance's, squeezing hard. She continued a cycle of pushing and then breaking for breath, and then her second child was out. The doctor's cut the cord and pronounced the child a girl. Then, as they wrapped the little girl in a cloth, they handed the boy to Leora who, now that she wasn't having to push out babies anymore, looked completely relieved and she smiled up at Lance, now realizing what the doctors had said. "Twins Lance . . . Twins . . ." she said softly as she held her baby boy. The doctors then brought out the girl to Lance and a nurse questioned what their names were.
