❖ Izunami ❖ The Red Shula
Hearing him ask about Blaize, Izunmai quickly turned her gaze to him, eying him before answering. "Not much....", she began to say. It was then that she figured that if she told him what occurred, before she met Z, maybe it would clear her name with Memnon. For it was the truth that she had no ties with him. "She...she was the first one to become my friend....in Magma Plains. Ever since I could remember, when I awoke in Magma Plains, I was all alone, until I met her." Izunami began to remember when she first met the other fire demon, and her showing her a few things about how to control her fire and whatnot. Looking back at Viva, she continued. "That is all I know. I wasn't lying when I said I knew nothing of Memnon, nor know why he is asking for me. I don't belong to him" she then wrapped her arms around herself, feeling that same odd chill she had gotten before when she first met him. "He gives me...and odd chill, an uneasy feeling"

Z turned and began walking again. He wasnt going to stay and talk. Viva thought he could hold Z here, he would be wrong. And not just wrong about that. But Z wasnt interested in anything of that nature. He had a job to do and this person was just slowing him down. Z was going to look for Record instead, or someone that wouldnt try to fight him at every corner just because he/she thought that their one minded view on the situation was the right one.
"Im not staying. If she needs to speak with me, she can find me. But I have nothing else to do here if the people I have worked for cant trust me and the job that Record entrusted me with."
Z stopped when Izunami began speaking with Viva. She was the only reason he waited, but it pained him to do so. He knew that if she did end up going back, he would have a hard time seeing her again. And it looked like she wasnt going to have a choice in the matter.
It was just like his past, all over again. People were using him like before and the ones that he wanted to protect he was going to be forced from. Not if he could help it though. He was going to see this through. With or without their help. And it seemed that with how this was going, it was going to be without.
Z wished he could say goodbye to Record. Record was Z's one real friend here in the base. Z wasnt going to wait for Lutia to return either. She had been away for awhile now. If he needed to be talked to, she could find him later. But Z had to keep searching, exploring and find what he needed to stop the events that were to come. Even if they could have been years away. This also ment that Rachael's body would have to be placed somewhere, safe until he could save her.

((Its alright lqtm. I knew you werent doing it out of spite. I just dont want to be stuck again so I am somewhat refusing to be at the moment.
But as for Z, his past is full of events where he was used and mistreated. So when he thinks he has been used again, or anything like that, he reacts negatively. Its not Viva... well... Its not like the Jarian's did this on purpose. He just doesnt think he can trust anyone but Record right now. Z worked with Record for a bit, or thats what the profile says anywho. So Z believes that he can trust Record in any situation.))
Z stood where he had been standing, simply waiting. He was cooling off, but to him, he had been used. Again. For him, it was something that made him upset the most. Bringing him back to his childhood in a negative way. When Viva started to move towards the lobby, Z stayed where he was, waiting for Izunami. Z had nothing to say to her, his head tilted down alittle as his gaze turned down to the floor. His eyes betrayed him. Though he stood there trying to stay resolute infront of Izunami, his eyes were like those from his childhood.

❖ Izunami ❖ The Red Shula
Izunami, her arms still wrapped around her, watched as the figure said nothing else of what she spoke, only stating for them to follow. The fore demon didn't want to go, but it seemed as if she had no choice. Sighing, she turned as well and looked at Z. Moving towards him, she unwrapped her arms from around her, and placed one on his shoulder. "Z?", she asked curiously. His head was tilted down, and he seemed to be acting strange, like he was shutting himself away....from her. "Z...whats wrong?"

Flashes of Z's horrid past ran through his mind. He couldnt open his mouth to speak. If he did, he didnt know how his voice would act.
Nothing.
Z had gone back to using only his mental prows to speak. When he lifted his head and looked into Izunami's eyes, it would have been painfully obvious to her that he was hurt now, scared like when he was litttle. But to anyone else, he would have seemed fine. The memories that he and Izunami had shared, as well as the peak into his past, would give her that much information.
We better go.
Z trusted Izunami, and still did. She had done nothing wrong. But Z, he wasnt sure what was about to happen. And to someone who made it his business to know everything that was happening around him, that was a scary thing. And the one person who he could actually trust, aside from Record, was probably going to be out of his reach for an undisclosed amount of time.
Z started walking at his old slow pace, his head tilted down again and his gaze went down to the ground. He was trying to bring back his old shell, so he could perform like he used to.

❖ Izunami ❖ The Red Shula
As he spoke, Izunami could tell that something was wrong. And as he lifted hit head, to look into her eye's, her eye's went wide. She knew that gaze, she knew that look. Instantly that memory that she saw first hand, while they both had slept side by side that night, his childhood memory, which somehow drifted into her own mind, those same sad, distressed eye's. She remembered, and would never forget what she had seen. It was now edged into her own mind and suddenly, she could feel her heart breaking, like it had done that night.
As he turned to leave, she grabbed the back of his shirt, to cease his walking. Her head now tilted down, herself fighting back tears. Once he had stopped, Izunami moved in close, hugging him from behind. "Please...", she began to say. "I cant bare to see you in such pain." Izunami, after seeing such a painful memory, vowed herself to never allow such a look to appear upon his face again. She wouldn't leave him alone. "Though we dont know what will happen...", she began to say, as few tears streaming down her face, blending with his shirt. "I will always be with you. I wont leave you alone" Though this was painful for her as well, Izunami tried to be cheerful. "And besides, you promised we would have an adventure" Izunami then began to levitate off the ground, her arms circling his neck. "So please, dont be sad anymore", she said softly and soothingly into his ear.

When Izunami had stopped Z, he closed his eyes waiting for something bad to happen. Instead, something new. A hug, something he rarely experienced. Izunami's embrace made Z's eyes open, he turned and looked at her, tears glistening down her cheeks as she spoke. Z only listened as she encouragingly spoke to him, putting her arms around his neck as she continued to cheer him up.
When Z saw her tears, his gaze softened alittle and he reached to her right cheek and softly took a tear away before he nodded slowly. She was right, he did promise. And he wasnt going to break a promise to her.
Thank you Izunami.
He said taking her hand and nodding once more. Seeing Izunami care so much for him, there were only a handful if that, of people in his life who have done so for him. But he wasnt going to let her shed anymore tears for him. He gave her a small smile and began walking with her, or next to her as she floated, going to see what needed to be done about the situation at the front.
"Whatever happens Izunami, I will find you. And we will have our adventure."
His voice was alittle choked from his fighting his emotions. But he managed as best he could.
