"Good idea." Kai stated, glancing up to see Cral cringe at the idea.
"Perhaps it would be best if we started at opposite ends of the festival?" Cral offered hopefully, even though he knew it was useless.
Trying to contain his laughter at the man's luck at catching Hulinn's interest, he hugged Saiya. "See? Its all taken care of." Kai said quietly, bending down to look her in the eyes. "Now lets get you back to bed."

Saiya nodded. "Thank you again Cral, it's really a huge help." She was extremely grateful that the bird man would help her find the girl. Leaning into the arm around her shoulders she slipped her own around his waist as her other hand clutched her sketch book against her chest. With a slight yawn she started heading back to the room.
Hulinn smirked. "Oh no then we'll be too far apart if there is trouble." She purred as she took a step into his personal space and ran a hand along his vest. "Mind if I take a peek at what our target looks like?" She asked him with a wink.

Knowing the alternative, Cral reached into his robe and pulled out the picture. He handed the drawing over as he thought about just how bad his luck was going today.
Kai smiled, opening the door as they reached it. "Now you need to climb into bed missy." he whispered, taking the sketchbook from her and laying it on the table beside the bed.

Hulinn froze and blinked at the picture. "Oh s**t." She muttered. "We don't have to look far I know this kid." She told Cral, all playful tones were gone, making it obvious that she really had just been messing with the poor guy. Hulinn held up he picture. "She's the head coucilman's youngest daughter. We probably walked right past as we were escaping." She tapped a finger to her lips and wrinkled her nose. "Let me think where was she supposed to be today? I think the flower stands is where she was supposed to be today, so we're in luck since it's on the opposite side from the meeting."
"No argument there." Saiya responded as she easily released her sketch book. She climbed on the bed and reached for him. "Join me this time?"

"Always." he replied, his smile widening as he took her hand to climbed in after her. Pulling the covers over them, Kai wrapped his arms around Saiya. "Now go to sleep." Kai muttered.
"Come on." Cral stated, grabbing Hulinn's hand and taking off down the hall. The halls twisting and turning, he easily speed through them as he pulled Hulinn after him.

Hulinn kept up with him easily as he sped through the halls, a little surprised he would willingly take her hand. With a slight smirk she threaded her fingers with his, just to push it.
Saiya laughed as she nuzzled into him and pressed as close to him as she could. "Only if you promise to be here when I wake up." She said though her voice gave away that she was already half asleep.

He chuckled softly as he shifted to allow Saiya to get closer. "Do you really have to ask?" Kai muttered, kissing her.
Cral ignored Hulinn's attempt to freak him out, his mind already in combat mode as he figured out the quickest routes. Rounding a bend to come out into the stables, he stopped in front of what looked like a giant railing under an awning. Whistling Cral turned to Hulinn. "Up." he stated simply, a rush of wind whipping past them as one of the giant eagles landed behind him.

Huinn arched an eyebrow at him but without waiting for him to elaborate she was on the Eagle as she had been earlier. "You coming?" She asked him with a smirk. "Oh man of little words and lots of commands?" She added with a wink.
Saiya opened her eyes and narrowed them a little. She had seen a little of Hulinn and his conversation. She had a feeling Hulinn had directed it at her on purpose. "Yes." Replied, wanting him to know that she was aware he had mentioned leaving her.

Kai kissed her softly. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to know you'd be safe." he stated, running his fingers through her hair. "You know I'd do anything to make sure that happened."
Leaping easily behind Hulinn, he grabbed the reins and they were off. "Not alot of time for that now is there?" Cral asked as they banked hard to circle back around and head to the festival.

Hulinn smirked as she shifted back so that she rubbed against him. "There's always time for that." She teased.
Saiya pouted at him. "It wouldn't be any easier to be safe with you gone." She reminded him. "I don't know anything about this world and those things are still after me. With you gone, what chance would I stand?"

"Are you always like this?" Cral asked offhand, his eyes scanning the horizon.

Hulinn smirked over her shoulder. "Makes life more interesting." She purred as she leaned back against him.
Saiya yawned and nuzzled into his chest. "You don't give yourself enough."

He closed his eyes, enjoying that certain peace he felt when they were like this. "Perhaps..." Kai joked. "Sleep." he whispered.
"Lean forward." he stated simply, shifting to reach forward and grab the main part of the reins. Like this he was arched over Hulinn as she lay against the eagle. "And try not to scream." Cral added, the eagle rolling so that they were upside down as they headed into clouds for cover.

Hulinn did as he said since she was not accustomed to flying an Eagle. Hulinn had once been described as an adrenaline junkie who stole just to get a fix. "This is not the way to make me scream." She purred as she winked over her shoulder at him.
It didn't take long before Saiya's breath was even as it fanned against his chest.

Kai smiled, settling in. For the first time in a long time he felt they were safe enough to allow himself to rest... If only for a little bit.
"I'll choose to ignore that statement." he muttered, Especially considering the position we're in. Moisture hit their faces as they passed from one cloud to the next, using them to make their way past the guards defensive line.
