It grinned, it's face too long for a cat, with lizardlike aspects. Shoulders rose up now, and one paw. It shoved a table away from it as it rose. Mimsy then got nuzzled, a wooden face pressing into her stomach. A grinding noise came from it, like it was trying to purr.
Zadea looked at him, and chuckled. "Don't worry. It won't hurt you." She said, grinning still, supressing more laughter. One of her ears twitched. "Sorry..." She mumbled, before running off in the direction Kane went.

Ryou gently slipped his arm around Hoshi and pulled her close to him, "Look... we'll try and protect you as much as we can... and I'll put my life on the line for you, Hoshi-chan..." Ryou assured her in a gentle tone, one that no one in the Tavern had heard yet. And if you push me off of her this time... I'll slam a seal of fire on you and burn that hair off, he growled to Zamiel.

"I did not fear for my safety" he said, lips curl. But he had been worried, his teeth had started to sharpen wickedly in his mouth and it took him a few moments to relax them. It was not often one like him was ruffled. Fylk landed on the roof.

She froze, but realized that the cat-dragon house-spirit was harmless...at this moment. She knew better than to underestimate spirits of any shape or size or apparent ferocity. And when it sounded like the creature was purring, she full out laughed.
"Okay, okay," she said, continuing to pet the wooden head. "Uh, yeah...Good house-spirit."

Hoshi give a small smile, but she knows that something wrong will happen if they manage to find her here.
"Here..." she hands him the letters, she didn't want to have them around, it be a constant reminder that she not like the other at all.
Klahan comes down the stairs and turns into a little tabby cat, jumps into Hoshi lap and curls up to her to comfort her master.

It wrapped around Mimsy, a whole body coming out of the floor. It had a long mane that went the whole way down it's back, wood flowing like liquid to make the form. A tail whipped out of the floor and unknowingly landed, resting percariously, on Hoshi's head. Mimsy then was hugged tightly.

She smiled. "Aw, sweet kitty," she cooed. "You're not a bad spirit. You're a very good spirit. You're a very, very good spirit."
Come to think of it...Zadea probably had a huge history with this tavern: she herself was something...interesting as well. She wished she had more time to research this kind of bond between dwellings and their owners. Or in this case, possibly partners in crime. Well, maybe not crime. Wasn't there another term for that?
It was getting late she realized as she let out a big yawn. And the war wasn't going to go away any time soon. 'The 28th, huh...' "Okay, kitty. I'm going to have to head out, soon. I need my sleep, too."

It nodded at her, and then slid back down to only being a head coming up from the floor. It then spotted Duri, and rushed up the stairs in a big ripple, to knock him off his feet. A paw came up to catch him, and he was held to an inspecting, ember eye. The giant cat-and-dragon mix, made of the tavern's wood tilted it's head at him.

Hoshi pets Klahan head sweet but absent-minded, staring into space with and emotionless gaze again. Winces slightly from one of the wounds she received from the ambush.

Standing, she waved to everyone in the tavern. "Good night, all!" And she happily walked off. Yeah. No matter what happened, the war is coming. And she needed to get a hold of herself for that.

What-ever the thing was, it was fast. Too fast. He didn't like where things here going. Fylk held the spirit wolf's head in his hand and looked it straight in the eyes.
"I've got a little job for you my friend. Follow that....thing."
The beast smiled and nodded, turning on tail to chase after it.
