Spike woke with a gasp and grabbed her shoulders too. "N-no more!!" His slightly blood shot eyes dart around,once he realizes where he was he lets go of her and runs his shaking left hand through his hair as his right arm wraps around his chest and he slowly calms down. "n....no more needles...." He says completing what he was yelling before.

yuki jumped when he grabbed her shoulders but held onto him, after he had calmed down she got a little closer to him " its okay... your not there anymore... " she let go and kneeled down infront of him .

He nods and looks at her but at the same time he looks so distant and disconnected. "S-sorry....i must seem crazy...." He says before closing his eyes and rubbing them.

" i would never think of you as crazy " yuki said with a serious face

With his hands still over his eyes he takes a very very deep breath and lets it out shaking a bit. "I....i see horrible,horrible things yuki....so much pain and agony...needles and scalpels and drills along with other things i dare not speak of...." His hands slowly slump to his lap. "And the thing that haunts me the most was...i wasn't the only one...there were hundreds like me at the beginning...but after... His voice trails off as if lost in the memory.

yuki studied him when he spoke, after a mintue or so she said " people were being made into weapons? " yuki was really worried about him but tried to stay calm so he would aswell.

Spike nods and interlaces his fingers. "Most...went insane after the psychological reform...and had to be...be 'put down',others were killed off in the weapon installment...i have no idea how i survived..." He shakes his head and stops talking. "Let...lets just forget about it for now."

she stared at him for a moment then nodded aswell, " alright spike... but i dont think it will get any better if you dont get it out.... " she said the last part a little lowly as she stood up.

He nods in agreement. "Later yuki,just not now...."He stands up and hugs her,giving her a little kiss on the cheek. "So i'll go make us some breakfast." He lets go and heads to the kitchen,seeming to be slowly returning to his normal self.

she sighed and headed off to the library to find something to read, yuki was hopeing for a calm day something they rarely get, she looked at the many aisles of books and started down the drama row.

Spike tried his best to shake off the feelings and got to work making breakfast. "Cooking is therapy for the soul....."

after about thirty mintues or so yuki already had her face planted in one of her favorites, the giving tree, even if it was a childrens book it was still a favorite.

Knowing she usually doesn't eat human food spike gets a knife and a glass and smiles,he was going to give her a glass of his blood for breakfast since she hadn't had any for a long while.

She finsihed the book quickly and sat back in her chair staring out her window, fall was approaching and that would mean colder days... but yuki loved winter so she was quite excited.

There's a knock at the door. "Yuki? you in there?" Spike asks,going to the wrong place twice before.
