Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

[Zahzi]

"I had nine-hundred tons of hand slam down on me. I'm sure I'm heavily damaged.." Dozer groaned, slumping forward.

"First you think I'm a lady, then ask me to relive THAT day!"  

[cptflint]

"Then let's get the ******** outa here before more of them show up. I can't exactly fight right now either," he replied as he started heading back to base.  

[Zahzi]

Dozer just gave a grunt, limping after him.  

[cptflint]

The walk was fairly uneventful. Once Steam was in the base he headed straight for the hanger, and started collecting all the parts of his armor and his sword. In hindsight it was probably a bad idea to leave it in the hanger...  

[Zahzi]

Dozer gave a groan as he walked into the Hangar once again.
"I've been here too much in the past week....." he sighed as he looked around.

"Mechaaaaaaniiiiiiiic..."  

[cptflint]

Steam dropped onto a bench near the repair station and waited for his turn. "Been a while since I've needed repairs. I usually manage to avoid this sort of thing."  

[Zahzi]

"Yeah? Well I can't jump around like an acrobat." Dozer grunted, Mechanics already working on his repairs.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"It's good to talk about things though! You're always telling me that. Why is it so bad now?"  

[Zahzi]

"Because I already feel bad for this guy..." Hal sniffed.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"And this makes you a hypocrite about feelings, because..?" Edge rose her eyebrow at her father, not understanding his position, or much of the situation.  

[Zahzi]

Hal gave a deep groan.
"You made me feel terrible for the poor guy. Now you want me to speak about what happened to our family.....Salt upon a slowly-closing wound, Kelly......."  

[cptflint]

Steam gave an understanding nod, then leaned his head against the wall tiredly.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...I don't understand the analogy." Edge blinked with confusion.  

[Zahzi]

After awhile, Mechanics began to aid Steam as well.

"It's rude!"  

[cptflint]

Steam thanked the mechanics and apologized for the damage. The materials his armor was made out of made it especially difficult to work on. "But since I'm not hurt in any other way I'll be back later when you all are done," he said to them after they took his armor away.
