Melthin looked over to Kiae and back to the marionette. His eyes soon were on the ground as his mind began to twirl like a madman and his smile almost reflected his thoughts. Two fingers came up to stop his glasses from falling to the ground, the moonlight catching them in its glare. "Kiae, you might be a genius. Follow my train of thought on this if you can. Have you ever once woven a weave only to look at it and feel that there were holes in it, places that should be filled with something? Yet you do not what the something is, correct?" As he spoke he wove again at the marionette, having it crawl and stand in front of him. He took a step back and continued to weave, staring at the puppet as if he was seeing something in a very new light.
"In a weave like this, there are three of those said 'holes' that I have always pondered what they would pertain to. What if by some gift, the power shows us ways to alter and add to weaves we already know. Thus changing the properties and abilities of the weave and changing its use entirely. This in turn could be said about the Wheel. Taveren being the main pieces that fill the empty gaps, thus changing the Wheel's predestined weave into something new and undetermined. I believe that I have not really been 'Looking' at this weave until just now." As he spoke his mind's view, he wove oddly on the puppet, the puppet itself twitching slightly from the new parts in the weave he was adding. "Perhaps the same could be said about saidin and saidar. Polar opposites that need channeler's such as us to unite them into their true glory. Yet that is merely speculation and my opinionated rambling."
((Yay I have paragraphs lined up! I can do so much when he's in this inspired state of mind. XD))

The Aes Sedai stared after him, her jaw slightly open from what had just escaped his mouth. "Changing weaves - Light forbid he begins experimenting on such volatile tools so close to people," she thought, shaking her head. Kiae herself had experimented with weaves during her years, even before becoming a Yellow, something Melthin had not given her the opportunity to share. But saidar was much more dangerous, even in the hands of a skilled Asha'man...
"If he had not been so self-absorbed in his thought process, I might have been able to suggest a compromise," she thought in dry amusement, forced to admit working with such a man would be interesting. The benefits might well outweigh the dangers, in her opinion.

"Oh, an Aes Sedai has a long memory, Melthin, never forget that," she replied with a wry face, deciding to move to face him. "But unlike some, I have a mind that can be changed, hard though it can be. If you continue on this path, there may be hope," she decided, and nodded towards him. "As an Aes Sedai, and since you are a Warder, I accept your offer gladly."
She paused as they resumed their walk, thinking her words through before saying anything. "But remember, as a Sister I don't help with chores," she added lightly, having no inclination to help him gather tools. "However, I can help with other things. What you were saying before, experimenting on weaves...I have done the same thing in the past, with little success. It may be beneficial for us to pool our resources for this project."
