Damned Woods

[[Yeah we can wait for her]] Before Mell completely fell asleep she kissed Maradox.
The next morning Mell was again the first one up and started cooking and picked out some suitable walking clothes.

"Where are you headed, all by yourself like this?" KoTari asked. The Dragonkin adjusted his cloak a little.  

[Bullet_Ber]

"Home..." She said. She then stopped. "What about you? Where are you headed? It's not safe to be in these woods at night." She asked, not in a concerning tone, but a cold, deadly tone.

KoTari would have laughed. He had nothing to fear in these parts. There are so few humans, "I'm just wandering," He said with an amused grin.

Makira looked down and thought a little. "Would you... like to take a rest at my place?" She asked flatly without any enthusiasm. Deep inside she wanted him to say yes. She hid her temptations well.

"You really do have a home here huh? Very well," KoTari said. He was only just asleep. He wanted something to eat now more than anything.

Makira quickly grabbed the man's hand and ran deeper into the woods.

KoTari looked confused for a second before following after her.

After a while of running, they reached a gloomy mansion. It didn't look abandoned or wrecked, but it looked gloomy. The wooden walls were painted black on the outside. On the inside there were two stories. On the first story, there was the kitchen, the living room, the dining room, and a bathroom. The second story consisted of her bed room, a few guestrooms, and another bathroom, though bigger than the one downstairs. Each room was big and neatly decorated. A maid and a butler kept the place tidy. Makira walked in, still holding the man's hand.

KoTari looked around at the place. Almost as creepy as that place his friend's girlfriend lived in. He wondered when she was going to give him his hand back. Maybe he should make it more Dragon-like to frighten her away. He thought against it.

She abruptly turned around, almost crashing into his chest. They were soo close that she could hear his heartbeat. She blushed a little then looked away from his face. "The bed rooms are upstairs if you want to rest. There's some food in the kitchen. Help yourself. I will go get changed." Makira said as she let go of his hand and ran upstairs.

KoTari watched her walk off and shrugged. Younglings are weird at best and stupid at worst. He walked into the kitchen for a sandwich or something.

The sun started to rise. Makira had changed and was now heading downstairs. She looked different and a lot less gloomy without the black dress and the weapon. She looked for the man in the kitchen. She saw him. "So what's your name?" She asked, her tone was still flat and unconcerned, but it wasn't as cold.

Maradox tossed and turned in bed then fell off the bed again. He landed with a thud. He laid there dizzily.

KoTari was leaning his back against the counter eating a sandwich. He could smell that she was the same person as the one before, "KoTari Koron," He said. It would be for the best if she didn't know his race, and he looked as human as humans get.

"Oh are you ok Maradox?" Mell asked motherly "Breakfast is ready would you like me to bring it to you?"
