Blaize's expression softened as she took in Z's demeanor. You..... Care about her... She blinked, before smiling. "Thank you for taking care of Izunami....." She said, directing this towards Z, her voice revealing how relieved she was that the other wasn't hurt. She was assuming Izunami had been with him the entire time, and she was grateful nothing serious may have happened.

Record floated from the direction of the residential wing. Having just finished a census of the base's food stores when she heard the commotion. Floating forward, Record was curious to see what had happend while she was preoccupied.

Z looked up at this new woman who spoke to him. He looked at her and nodded at her remark. Z did care for Izunami, though, he didnt know just what that ment at the moment. But it was something new to him, not really having had someone care about him like she did.

Yes.

Z looked over at Izunami then back down to the floor as he spoke.

"Your welcome."

Z was still upset, knowing all to well that he was going to be in big trouble when all this went down.

Seeing Record come floating in, he turns and excuseing himself polietly form the conversation to talk with Record. He steps out of earshot of the others to talk with the ghostly figure.

"Sorry to bother you, but do you know who this "Z" figure is? The security recognize him, but I picked up a alarm from the Vault. Apparenlty this guy tried to enter the Vault and attacked my drones when they tried to question him. "

Not too long after, she, Z and the one who had attacked her, whom she knew now as Viva arrived at the entrance to the base, where she had once entered from. And before her eye's, stood Memnon, and Blaize. Her eye's first fell upon Memnon, that odd evil chill resurfacing. But as she locked eye;s with him, she could see just a twinge of concern. The ancient fire demon could hear it in his voice as well, which confused her a bit. He didn't seem like the one to care about anyone. But her gaze upon him ended as a flame approached her, asking if she was alright. Izunami picked it up and smiled at it. There was no need to speak into it, seeing as she could see Blaize right beside Memnon. "I am fine Blaize. Z took good care of me", she stated. It was true, Z did and Izu was grateful.

As the fellow fire demon approached her, Izu gazed upon her, like she hadn't seen her in a long time. Izu just smiled, her hand still within Z's. She had gotten so use to holding his hand, that she didn't really realize it. "Im sorry to have worried you, but I had....good reason to leave", she said, giving a glance to Z, seeing his head tilted down. She could see, as well as sense that he was sad still. There time together would end, and she didn't want that. Izu then gave Z's hand a squeeze, in hopes of cheering him up. Was there a way for her to stay?

Z listened to everything that everyone was saying. Everyone except Viva. Z figured he was in enough trouble. Why make it worse by listening to something that he wasnt supposed to.

Z didnt bother to look at where Viva had gone, he just raised his shoulders, trying to shrink alittle. It wouldnt work, he wasnt able to make himself smallers at will, though he wished he were able to. He wanted to disappear, he didnt want to cause any problems, and his grip on the books tightened as he stood waiting.

But his shoulders relaxed alittle as Izunami said that he had done a good job taking care of her. And when he felt her hand squeeze his softly, that helped ease his fears. He turned his head and looked at Izunami, relaxing alittle as he looked at both Izu and this new woman that was checking on Izunami.

"I appreciate it... Z." Blaize said, the small smile still present what else could she honestly say. It was obvious to her that the two had connected, connected deeper than one would have though possible in such a short time. I'm glad you were the one she found and not someone else..... Blaize though, giving a backwards glance towards Xi. It was obvious she didn't trust the elf at all... Or Viva for that matter. Blaize was actually somewhat nervous being here like this in the open, her assassin instincts yelling at her to disappear.

Ravyn didn't say or do anything to draw attention to herself. She would rather just run into a corner and cry. She was more attached to Masakazu than she realized. She didn't dare think it, if she learned anything from the wolf demon, it was that mentalists were everywhere, and that not all of them were as nice as he could be. She knew she needed to learn how to close off her thoughts and emotions to others, and soon.

She watched Izunami's escort like a hawk. She might not have remembered much from the battle outside her headquarters, but she did remember the elf very clearly. She didn't know who Viva was, but she felt tense just being around her. She glanced up to Memnon, then back to her potential enemies. She resisted clicking her blades together in a nervous gesture. We have the girl, we need to move before things turn hostile. She couldn't stop from running through her head multiple times like a mantra.

He gave a prideful smile as Viva rattled off his knowledge of his title and history. Of course he knew that there were only a few races that had existed at the height of his "illustrious" reign. The dragon race was extinct, the Ancients such as Viva, were not as numerous as they once were, and he had personally seen the destruction of the Seraphim.

All but one, anyway.

But as Viva moved away, and he was left to his own thoughts, his mind began to pick up on the energies around him. All he could feel was sorrow. And he knew that the moment had come to see exactly what it meant to be "human".

"Izunami, how would you like to stay with Z, as my ambassador of good will? I am not blind, and I can see the connection that you two share, and for some reason that I cannot understand, I cannot bring myself to sever that."

He moved over to the petite fire demon, resting his hand gently on her shoulder.

"The Magma Plains will always remain your home."

He gave her an encouraging nod and moved over to Ravyn.

"Come, we have a yound pup to find."

Izunami was in awe as she witnessed what Memnon had done, as well as said. Before, she use to get an odd chill from him, sensing nothing but evil intent from him. But now, she could sense that, not see it in his eye's. Her fiery hues gazed into his own eye's, as he allowed her to remain with Z, as his ambassador of good will. Such an honor that was, which made part of her wonder why she had known that. With her past memories flooding her mind slowly, she began to receive past thoughts, feelings and info, such as being an ambassador.

But right now, all she could do was smile up at him. Her smile widened, and her thoughts of him changed, as he stated the Magma Plains would always be her home. "Thank You", she said appreciatively. After receiving an encouraging nod from Memnon, she looked to Z, with a happy smile upon her face. "Guess I'll be around a bit longer"

Z looked at Blaize and nodded. He was happy that his watching over Izunami was appreciated, it made him feel like he was worth something other then a drug or an encycolpedia or a lie detector. And when Blaize looked at Xi, he understood. He concentrated alittle, on Blaize's mind. He could tell that she was nervous. He was trying to use his MACs on her, trying to calm her down so she could atleast be calmer around Viva and Xi. Though, wheter or not it worked, Z wasnt going to delve that far into her mind.

Soon, Memnon approached Izunami and told her that she could stay with Z as an ambassador. Z didnt move. What was he up to? Z looked over at Izunami and then tried to think of what this was. But he couldnt think, his mind was flooded with a feeling of happiness that Izu was going to get to stay with him longer. He gave her hand a soft squeeze as he returned the smile.

"That means we will have to look for an adventure."

Z said as he looked back at Record, his gaze lingering for a moment. It was all going to come down to if he was going to be punished or not. He knew the answer was yes, how could he not be? His only question was how was he going to be?

Blaize watched Memon's kindness, a small smile on his face. When he moved away, she turned to the two of them, her small smile still present. "Watch out for yourself... ne?" She said, directing it towards Izunami before giving Z a meaningful look. [i]She's important... So you better not let her get hurt.... Remember I'm trusting you with this... She thought, a strong sense of urgency behind her words. With a smile, she started to walk over to Memon, before pausing and looking back at the two. "Don't forget to visit Izunami... " Z "So.... are we leaving now...?" Blaize asked, turning to Ravyn and Memon with a curious stare.

Ravyn looked up to Memnon, surprised by what he said. "Wha-" She coughed as her throat constricted. "What do you mean?" She asked slowly. Ravyn was apprehensive. While she trusted Memnon because he trusted her, she would stake her life on what he would do to others. She didn't want anyone she considered 'friendly' to be hurt because of her alliance with Memnon. She glanced at Blaize and Izunami. What I wouldn't give to be aloof like them. Or...I guess it's because they're not really leaving each other. She took a sharp breath and squashed her jealousy. I am NOT going to be jealous...most of the time.

He extended his index finger, pressing it to Ravyn's forehead softly.

"I can see your thoughts, dear Ravyn. That wolf boy has managed to worm his way into your heart, whether you realize it or not."

He stepped away for a moment, then turned back to Blaize.

"Make sure to keep a connection to Izunami open at all times. I want to make sure that we can always be there if ever she calls."

And with that, he gave a nod to both the girls, a signal that their journey was beginning. He willed open a portal that would take them to the Kanareshii clan area and entered.

Ravyn glanced from Blaize to the portal where Memnon disappeared into. "Should we follow?" She was anxious to see Masakazu again. So soon too...would he be mad? Why should I care anyway?
