-The shapeling shut her mouth to keep from drooling anymore. By the end of this competition she would probably be very dehydrated.-

"Okay... So next then is this dish."

-Michie pointed to the roasted salmon, her eyes tearing with happiness. In a swift motion, she grabbed her fork and tore a piece of the wonderful meal away and bit into it. Then after a moment, she jotted some more notes on her pad of paper.-

-Michie made a pattern of tasting only a mouthful of each dish, savouring the taste, then drinking some water to clean the taste away. Afterwards, she'd scribble on her pad of paper. For anyone who caught a glimpse of the pad, the writing looked almost like a 2 year old had taken a crayon to the wall.-

-Quickly sh began to filter through the beautiful dishes. Her face remained somewhat blank, giving much doubt to who the winner could be.-

-Damn shapelings and their ability to remain emotionless.-

"How many other teams are there, or is it just you guys?"

"well those two others guys left the place and the other moomba has just stood there staring after talking to the plush moomba there"

Areashine was being whiped about a dark vortex. Wind and water formed together to make a very uncomfortable and wicked storm that engulfed Areashine and sent her flying into the abyss. The sky had turned black, no light to be seen except for that on the ground. A man stood there, eyes in concentration looking only at her.

"He's using my own power against me? No, this is his..."

She trailed off. Only those of her people knew of this power, was it the time of vengence upon her? Had banishment only been the beginning? Not that she stuck around long enough to know. She looked into the sky. Lightning scattered through the clouds. Higher she traveled on the unforgiving wind. A lightning bolt sensed her coming, and quickly ran to meet her. Areashine closed her eyes, thinking that it was the end. When her eyes opened once more, she was back in the Plushie Palace, on a bar chair, just where she had left herself. The glass of water still sat to her right.

"Only a dream?"

She wondered. Not that there was much she could do at the present time, it wouldn't matter until she was comfronted again. She spun around on the chair to look into the bar. Her long, red hair filtering behind her. She jumped down with all the grace she possed as a dancer, she boots clinking on the floor. Many people had gathered in front of a women and was offereing her food, including her boss, danish. If this had been her village, she would have thought it a ceremony of sacrifice, but she knew better than that. She wondered over to danish.

"Hey boss! Sorry about that, must have fallin' asleep over there. Ah...What's going on here?"

justice watches everything happen, his tail wiggling.

She stuffed her face with a forkful of each plate, noting the flavours of each on her scribble pad. She finally tasted the last dish and wrote down her last thoughts and turned to face the contestants.

"Who's with who on teams and where do I submit a final review of all these lovely meals."

((agh, it happens... one cannot live on RP guilds alone. myself, I've simply been deprived of internet access for longer than I wanted, partly aggravated by being caught up in 'stuffs'))

Krinna began cleaning her ears again, more rapidly this time.
She spoke in pauses between licking her paws.
"Uh... Nia and I are on a team... the purple cat-guy and the gal with the goggles are on another team... Plush Danish is on a team with the weather girl... and like someone else said, there are a couple other teams but one left after cooking and before serving... and the other's standing around here somewhere..."  

[Faulty Ambition]

The non-plushified moomba straightened up from where he had been adding the finishing touches to his and Jack Leroux's dish. The fritters were immaculate with a little sprig of that green plant in the corner of the plate. The clear, light sauce smelled lightly of oranges and springtime. The ginger ale on the side was cool and refreshing. All in all, a tantalizing dish.

the kitling stayed cuddled up against the wall, purring, and watching the competition.

Rouka walked in to the place, looking just plain lost. "Okay coming in here doesnt help either..." she said looking around.

Watches contest. "Heke? A cooking contest... never expected to see that here ^^'" She said as she watched kinda trying to not stand out but its a little hard when you have a blood red jacked and red hair.
