It would be horrible if the tattoos on his chest caused them to suddenly lose their abilities at a horrible point. He had left the office a while ago, but had not found the Jashinist girl. Rather than chase her down, he replaced his clone.

Ronnel's gaze shifted slightly as the boy landed beside him.
"Eh, and who might you be? You have one of our hitai-ate..." Ronnel trailed off as he noticed an unsettling familiarity about the boy. He blinked - and there it was for a moment, the person whose features the boy had inherited. It was actually as easy to tell where the boy had come from as it had been to recognize Aki all these years later - he was around the age that Ronnel had seen his father in. His silver eyes widened in shock.

Tavian entered the training grounds and spotted the Kusakage training with a man he had never seen before. He didn't have time to figure out who the man was, though. He had to wait, too. He looked at Ronnel watching them train and ran to him. "You're Ronnel, right? The Grass Sannin, right? I need you to tell the Kusakage that Cloud is attacking Leaf... I just don't know when." One of the most important details and Tavian couldn't get it.

"I'm Barnabas Houki, Student at the Academy. I'm here to train with someone, but I don't know who that person is." he the returned his gaze to Mikyo. It was he who interested him and his power he wanted. He could steal elements by using his Tendrills Threads bloodline then maybe it'd be possible to steal a heart with that ability. Barnabas' mind was racing with thoughts of how to achieve his goals... goals that were unknown to anyone else.

Ronnel had opened his mouth to speak to the boy when the Konoha shinobi arrived and spoke. Instantly the silver-haired man turned his full attention to the Jounin.
"What on earth? Damnation, it looks like that war was more than just a rumor. Fuuton: Kaze Bunshin no Jutsu! Take care of this boy's training." Ronnel gestured for the Konoha-nin to follow him as he headed to his own home, where they would be able to talk without alarming the others.

Keeping the massive weapon balanced on her shoulder with ease she listened to her teacher. Her attentive eyes watching his movements. She was surprised as his column suddenly sprung from the ground. She admired the weapon. It was much larger than his mother's which Aki stood back on the ground. Her eyes moved away from the incredible weapon as Mikyo looked back to her. Having received her next instructions the kage turned to her column. She placed her hands flat on it smiling as she felt the living metal inside.

Taking a deep breath of crisp night air, she let go of the breath and poured chakra in to it steadily concentrating on the weapon. She'd put in about half of her chakra and suddenly the column changed. It reduced in size forming into a double ended naginata. "Incredible..." She breathed with a wide grin. Her hands ran down the pole and stopped at the center finding a crease. She twisted the shaft slightly in hand and heard a click. Suddenly the naginata was in two. The halves were connected by a chain. "A naginata that also works as twin swords. From mid range, to close and long at the same time."

The pale eyes laid upon her weapon...the resemblance was astounding. His mother's weapon was a single bladed Naginata, proving to him that she will be a fast learner. "Excellent!" Mikyo excitedly yelled. "My Mother had a similar weapon to this one, a single blade. She wielded it with precision beyond measure..." Eying the weapon then the Kage. "Would you like to test your weapon?"

Aki laughed as he exclaimed his praised. She clicked the to halves back together and gave it a few experimental swings. It weighed so light compared to its appearance, and much much lighter than its actual weight. Twirling it effortlessly between her hands she grinned at the blind warrior and slid into solid stance. Her feet set apart from each other and the naginata in both hands in front of her. "I'd love to try it out." There was a small giggle in her voice and a confident grin on her face. She twisted the weapon so that one of the blades was facing her teacher.

The fighter could do a few things at this moment. He could dodge and counter, block and counter, or simple move out of the way. Thinking about these decisions he lost himself, not even thinking about Aki's attack. Mikyo's eyes wondered away from the fight for a second, until the blade collided with his right shoulder. The warrior finally snapped out of his daze, and looked down at the blade that now was deep within his skin, sliding against the metallic bone. Knowing her weapon was stuck in his bone he looked up to her, still holding the weapon, and gave a slight smile.

Blade sighed out of pure annoyance at all the commotion at the training grounds. It seems that peaceful meditation would be impossible here due to the loud and explosive training going on in the surrounding area. Maybe he was annoyed because he had been so out of touch with the Brotherhood for so long, or maybe it was because he didn't like staying in one place for very long. Regardless, Blade had already reached the peak of his training at his level and could do nothing more than to keep his body in shape and his insticts fresh. Blade closed his eyes once more try to calm his body and mind, to manipulate the chakra within and feel its flow throughout his entire being. This was easier said than done however. The only good piece of information he had attained was the rather loud shinobi who had stated that Leaf was going to be attacked by Cloud...but since when has that been news. The Cloud village is probably responsible for all the major attacks that happen throughout all the shinobi villages including Rock, Mist, Leaf and Grass. The only village that Blade never hears off is Suna, and that's probably because they mostly stick to themselves.

Taking two quick steps forward she jumped towards him bringing the naginata in a downward diagonal slice. Then continuing it's momentum to rotate it and slash in the same direction with the other bladed end. A simple predictable attack, but she was still getting a feel for the weapon.

Seeing his grin she laughed, With a twist Aki unlocked the free half of the naginata, turning it into the linked dual swords, and yanked it back. The chain unraveled and extended from the lodged blade to the one in her hand. Taking the chain in her hand she swung her leg low, aiming to knock his legs from beneath him.

Homaru was trying to let a leaf fly with his wind technique. He taught that if he had to wait, he better trained his jutsus a little better. He let the leaf circkle around in the air, and let him go up and down. From the many things he did in his training, this was probably the hardest. You had to concentrate on your wind, and at the same time on your leaf. Controlling the wind, and the leaf on the same time was hard for him, but he could it.
