The Safehouse {private}

[Mayah Playah]

"If you don't mind," he said quietly.  

[Pure T0rture]

"of course not..." he sighed, rinsing out the rag before he started to gently clean his chest.  

[Mayah Playah]

The scars on his chest were just as numerous as on his back, and there were several dark brown spots where he'd been shot in the past. Along with several burn-marks, there was a large, thick 'X' over where his heart was, clearly visible against his skin. "Thank you."  

[Pure T0rture]

"you're welcome." night smiled gently, being carefull as his eyes scanned over the scars. so many.... i think he has more then even i do! he thought to himself, remembering a few of the scars he'd gotten during past wars.

"How old are you?" he asked suddenly.  

[Pure T0rture]

night froze for a second and then sighed. "i'm 127.... iris is my sister..." he said, a small smile on his face.  

[Mayah Playah]

Inna chuckled. "Amazing how I still feel impossibly old. I was the Companion of the first War, over 6,000 years ago."  

[Pure T0rture]

Night gave a light chuckle. "heh, you're the first person i've met outside my family that's older then me." he grinned, lightly setting down the bloody cloth. "but... 6000... that's gotta be a lot of hard memories..." he frowned.  

[Mayah Playah]

He nodded. "Thousands of wars, trillions of deaths, it's all been pretty hard. Adamos was War for 2,000 years, then he finally stepped down and we travelled the world. When he finally got killed, it was the hardest thing I've ever gone through, and I'd been forced to watch the deaths of my family."  

[Pure T0rture]

"i know the feeling.... not to the same extent..." the elemental sighed and looked at the floor. "but i've seen far too many deaths... even for a death elemental..." he frowned and looked back up to Inna. "but... i've never had to watch a lover die.... they always leave before that..." he shrugged, his voice sad but his face emotionless.

"Oh, I'm sorry," he said. "I can't say I know how you feel, but I have an idea."  

[Pure T0rture]

"its fine... i've...gotten used to it.." he shrugged and then gave a light sigh. "looks like your cuts are all cleaned... need help getting out?"  

[Mayah Playah]

"If it's not too much trouble," he muttered sheepishly. Inna tried to stand, failing and falling onto Night. He blushed bright red and looked away. "Um, sorry..."  

[Pure T0rture]

Night's face was a dark red as he looked up at Inna. "i-its..f-fine..." he mumbled, picking himself up off the floor along with Inna. "why don't you take a seat? i'll get you some new bandages and clothes... alright?" he murmured softly as he helped the man over towards the bed.

"Alright," he mumbled, sitting upright on the bed.
