"I'll... come with you..." Honda said awkwardly, following Yuugi into the kitchen.
Jounouchi looked over at Anzu, laughing nervously, "Well... guess I should be off..." he waved at her, "Thanks for having me over Yuugi...!" he called into the kitchen, "See ya Honda...!" he then turned to follow Malik outside, letting the game shop door close behind him. He looked off to the side awkwardly as he stopped next to Malik, "So... where are we going...? I usually just get canned coffee, so I don't know any good places..."
((In some ways... >_>;;
Anyway, I'm beginning to randomly twitch and things are looking blury. I've been on the computer for over twelve hours, so I think I need to cut myself off and get some sleep... ^^;; I'm gonna try not to be on too much tomorrow so I can work on the doujin. Good night dear!))

Malik's face was still tinted pink and because of this he purposefully avoided Jounouchi's glance as well. "Uhm.. I know this place a few blocks away..." He stuffed his hands in his pocket, gazing fixedly at the sidewalk, "I'll treat you.. so you don't have to worry about the money..."
((Oh, I was wondering if we ought to ditch Yuugi & pals for now - I don't have anything planned for them that would greatly contribute to the plot - so unless you do, we can come back to them later.
Mhm, I was tired too, so that's all fine and dandy. Hope you sleep well! ^^))

"Okay, thanks..." Jounouchi said, scratching his head, "Don't think I have any money with me right now anways... so... go ahead and lead the way." he looked up at Malik.
((Yeah, I'm fine with that. ^^
By the way, I made a discovery that made me feel stupid! D: I was looking at some YUU*GI*OU Gospel of Truth scans, and it turns out that Malik's actually around a year younger than the other YUU*GI*OU characters! o.o This is because the Gospel says that during Battle City, Yuugi and everyone were in their second year of highschool (which would be eleventh grade/Junior year here), and going by Jounouchi's age, because his birthday is so close to Malik's, that would mean that Jounouchi would be seventeen around the time of Battle City, yet the Gospel says that Malik is sixteen! X_X So I thought Jounouchi and Malik were about a month apart, Malik being older, but really they're about a year apart, Jounouchi being older. *shoots self*))

"So... you guys had an eating contest?" Malik started, attempting to make small talk, "Isn't that rather juvenile behavior for someone your age?" It sort of failed because he ended up sounded extremely arrogant in his questioning.
((NOOOO I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THAT. K-k-kitsune..... this isn't cool at all. For the past three years I've worked on perfecting my knowlege of Malik's character so I could be the perfect roleplayer shaped just for him... and then you drop an anvail on me!?
H-how do you know that's true!? *cries*

Jounouchi crossed his arms and let out a slight huff, "Well, Anzu and Honda never showed up, and we didn't want the burgers to go to waste..." he looked off to the side with a little pout.

He was thankful the coffee shop wasn't too far away. Perhaps warm drinks and breakfast would cool them both of. Why were they arguing again? Stupid, stupid Jounouchi. Malik always felt such a conflict of emotions around the blond.. he was either incredibly irate or unreasonably heartfelt... damn his own unbalance of emotions.

Malik just seems more mature is all. -.- ))

"I'm not pouting!" Jounouchi crossed his arms like a little kid. He looked off to the side again, seeming annoyed. He was already on thin ice, and Malik seemed to just be pushing even more! Jounouchi wasn't in the mood to take any crap.
((Sorry... ^^;; And well... he is more mature. He was forced to grow up early afterall...
Anyway, I'm off to do lazy stuff now. Good night! ^^))

Jounouchi flinched his shoulder ever-so-slightly upon Maliks touch, "I-it's fine..." he looked away awkwardly. He was still feeling extremely uncomfortable from the events of yesterday, and now that his friends weren't with him anymore, it felt even more awkward.

"Right." Malik rolled his eyes annoyed with the tiresome situation already. He figured once they sat down it'd be less awkward. Luckily the strung out moments of silences betweent their words had brought them within sight of the coffee shop. He smiled with relief when he saw the sign glistening with morning dew just a few buildings down. "Hey, we're here... Starcups Coffee shop!"

"Ah, good." Jounouchi grinned, already feeling less awkward, "I'm starved." he picked up his pace slightly as they approached closer to the coffee shop. He could already smell the warm coffee, and almost felt like it was now just a normal day going to a café with a friend... was Malik a friend again? So many things kept happening, Jounouchi wasn't even sure anymore. At least he was sure of one thing though: That that coffee smelled pretty damn good.
((Ya know... Starcups sounds a helluva lot better than Starbucks... but I don't like coffee anyway, so whatever. X3;; ))

((No, Malik is going to sing "Be Prepared." Because as I said, Jounouchi is going to bent over, and uhm... experiencing a 'whole new world'... yuppers. I love my demented thought process.
Malik was happy the life had suddenly zipped back into Jounouchi upon thought of food. That silly boy, if anything could give him an orgasm, it'd probably be deep fried or covered in chocolate. (Malik took mental note of this by the way.)
Holding the door open for his blond companion, entering behind him, "You got any favorite flavor you prefer? Or shall I suprise you?"
((That's funny, I had a feeling you weren't a coffee person.... ^^; But really now, Akila is a coffee whore don't bash on teh 'bucks, k? X3 wink )

As Jounouchi entered the building, he looked at Malik with a clueless expression, blinking a few times, "Ya mean... there's different flavors of coffee...? Isn't coffee just coffee?" As he had stated earlier, he really only drank cheap coffee once in a while, like the stuff you got out of vending machines or at the store.
((What's even funnier is I had a feeling you were a coffee person. ^^;; Never was able to stand the stuff... but I'll zip my lips on all the terrible things I can say about Starbucks... *zips lips*))
