you can live without, but it's possible to actually
donate part of your liver to a family member
or something of the like, if your blood types
match.

My Dad donated 30% of his liver to my cousin. I don't know the percentage you need to live, but your liver grows back.

I know that it has something to do with our
immune system, red blood cell destruction,
and a certain type of lymph node.......

The spleen is weird. I know you can live
without it, but it's still kind of important,
so you don't really wanna go injuring your
spleen beyond repair. xD;

So the liver does grow back!

I know you can donate somewhere around
60 percent-ish, because I remembering reading
that in the newspaper or an old health book.
Oh-! A child only needs about 20 percent of
