Hi everyone! paradoxal_gemini here. People on Gaia tend to call me some variation of my username, paradox, doxal, gem, gemini, something like that. Or hey, come up with something new...just not mean please? O_o
I'm terrible at about me's, but I'll give it a shot.
I'm a Louisiana native (Don't hate, we aren't all ignorant and country-fied, okay? I'm actually an honor student who has hardly any accent at all) and currently a college student (which means I'm also constantly broke)
I own a LOT of animals, and my love of them goes over into my job. I work part time (part time student of course) at a vet clinic. I have a baby beardie and I love him to bits, so I can't promise I won't be posting pictures up of him because as an obsessive 'mother' I find everything he does adorable.
I love to write, read, dabble in art (I have no tablet, so please don't expect greatness if I decide to show some), garden, RP (it never hurts to ask me if I'd be interested, I like a large variety of RPs and I'm always looking for a good one!), and just chat in general. I'm also an anime fan, and yes, a yaoi fan. But I do NOT squeal/shriek/shout/obsess/use broken japanese phrases/get mad at people for liking different pairings.
I like to hope I'm an intelligent fangirl.
I've been TOLD I'm very random, though I don't like to call myself random because it seems like that makes me less random. Does that make sense?
Oh! The phrases in my post format are Tori Amos lyrics. If you've never listened to her, I'd highly recommend it. She's a force of nature all on her own, seriously.
Especially if you listen to a lot of mellow, indie things.
Of course, if you do, you've probably already heard of her...
Ah, another thing. If I say something snarky to you, I'm probably joking. I've got a very sarcastic sense of humor. It's probably better to assume I'm not serious. If I'm actually angry, first of all, I'd tell you in private so it wouldn't show up in the guild, and second of all, it would probably be phrased a lot more politely and less bluntly than if I were joking. Trust me, I'm not out to insult anyone! ^-^;
I tend to ramble (Can you tell? My about me is like five times bigger than anyone else's and I'm using a small font. -_-)
