"But I'm here.." Renatus said. He hugged her. "Lucinda, I'm alive..."

"Wh-what happened?" Lucinda asked, leaning against him a bit when he hugged her.

Renatus held Lucinda, he grew silent. "I-I guess I tried to kill myself." he said shamefully.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Why?" Lucinda asked, looking up at him.  

[Ean_arico]

Renatus looked away. "You..." he said, wishing he could have held the truth. "I... felt so crushed... broken."  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Renatus," Lucinda said, looking like he had hit her. Then she tried to pull away from him. "I'm... I'm so sorry."  

[Ean_arico]

"No Lucinda..." Renatus wouldn't let go of her. "I should be the one ashamed. I was too greedy to put up with the bad. And it hurt you." small tears began to well up in his eyes, their feline tendencies distorted by the water.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"I hurt you first," Lucinda sobbed. "I deserved that."  

[Ean_arico]

"Lucinda..." Renatus said, returning his gaze to her. "We both hurt each other, lets end it at that. It doesn't matter who did it first." He pulled her closer, "Lets forget any of it ever happened." Renatus pressed his lips against Lucinda's in a quick burst of passion.

Lucinda let out a squeak in surprise that was cut short by Renatus's kiss. She held still in his arms not knowing how to react.

Renatus pulled his head back, blushing deeply. He remained silent for a few moments. "I... I'm sorry."

"Renatus..." Lucinda said, looking a little stunned. "Don't... Don't apologize..."  

[Ean_arico]

Renatus was confused, why shouldn't he apologize? "But Lucinda, I pushed myself upon you... Don't you feel violated?"  

[Cecily D Aria]

"No, I don't..." Lucinda replied, looking up at him. "I really don't."

Renatus blushed a little less. He smiled slightly. "So..." he began, "You wouldn't think it were strange if I kissed you again?"
