Kai groaned, trying to shake his head clear as he slowly got back to his feet. "Geez Hulinn." he muttered, rubbing his head where it had hit the wall. He blinked as he tried to get the room back into focus. "What's going on?"
Cral slide off of the Eagle, the girl in his arms. "Don't worry. If anyone can help its Hulinn." he stated, smiling to reassure the girl. "Why don't you help me with this big guy? I'm sure he'd love for you to meet his friends." Cral asked, putting Abbey down on her feet as he held his hand out to her. The Eagle looked over his shoulder at the girl and cooed.

Hulinn frowned and pointed to the dagger. "They just tried to use Saiya to kill you." She informed him. "If Abby hadn't warned us she would have that buried in your back now." She got to her feet and grabbed Saiya's hand, pulling her to her feet. Hulinn checked her head where she had slammed the girl into the floor. "I don't think I hurt her."
Saiya rubbed her head and then her wrist. "Just brought my headache back." She said as she looked at Kai. "Did I really almost hurt you?" Honestly she couldn't remember, as far as she knew she had been sleeping.
Abby giggled and took his hand. "You should get the witch soon though. They really want the lady with the pretty eyes."

"Will just make sure this guy here gets fed before I take you to Saiya and Kai." Cral stated, smiling as he led the way into the Air Stables as he patted the eagles side. "Then I'll go get the witch and be back before night call." he added as he opened the double doors wide.
Kai rubbed his head as he walked slowly over to where Hulinn and Saiya where. "I don't know... But Hulinn definitely left a mark." he answered, blinking as eyes as he continued to try and focus.

Saiya glared at Hulinn as she moved to put her hand lightly on the side of his face. "Are you ok?" She asked him worriedly as she moved him towards the bed.
Hulinn frowned. "Better than a dagger to the spine." She defended as she pointed to her arm. "I'm not exactly spotless here, girl got in a good shot before I pinned her."
Abby took it all in with a calm that did not belong to a little girl. She seemed unfazed by the sights around her, as though they were not anything she had not already seen. "Yes you will." She assured him with a smile as she looked around.

Cral smiled as he led the Eagle over to an empty perch, passing several of his kind on either side as they did so. The stories and rumors about the girl were true then. "Would you grab that feed bag?" he asked, undoing the Eagle's saddle and bridle.
"I'm fine." he replied, taking her hand in his as he sat down on the bed. "Just a little dizzy..." Kai muttered, putting his head between his knees. "You should get that looked at." he added to Hulinn, not bothering to look up as colors swirled behind closed eyes.

Hulinn laughed. "This little scratch? She's not that good Kai." Frowning she knelt in front of him. "I didn't think I knocked you that hard, are you sure you're alright?" She asked him, none of her magics were for healing and she wouldn't do him any good in that aspect.
Frowning Saiya stirred the water with Lavender, sending fresh scent into the room to try and help calm his head. Gently she moved her fingers through his hair to try and find where he had bumped his head.
Nodding Abby reached out and grabbed the bag without even looking, simply knowing it was there, and handed it to him. "You'll take that one. He's faster." She informed him as she pointed to one of the Eagles. "Not that one like you're thinking." She said pointing to another one.

He laughed, patting Abby's head as he took the bag and poured out feed. "Thank you." Cral responded, smiling at her.
"I'll be fine." Kai said, placing his hands over Saiya's. "I promise." he whispered, bringing Saiya's hands down as he lifted his head back up.

Saiya still frowned lightly in concern, though it wasn't as much over his head anymore. "I could have killed you." She muttered softly, disgusted and terrified at the idea of it. "I never would have known what happened."
Hulinn frowned. "She's right Kai. They want you out of the way and they are willing to use her to do it. Way I see it we have two choices. We keep her awake till the witch gets her enchanted or we restrain her."
Abby smiled up at him. "What is the lady with the pretty eyes name?" She asked him. Saiya was the only person she had never been able to see clearly. Everything directly around her blurred and she couldn't hear anything. That told Abby she was either powerful like her or she was protected.

"Her name is Saiya." Cral answered, dusting his hands off as a sat the bag off to the side. "Would like to go meet her now?"
He frowned as he pulled Saiya into his lap and wrapped his arms protectively around her. "We're not going to restrain her." Kai stated seriously.

Hulinn nodded. "Then she can't go to sleep. She's most vulnerable to them when she's asleep no matter how far she is." She pointed out.
Saiya rested her forehead against his neck and kissed him lightly. "She's just trying help." She said softly. "I could never forgive myself if I had hurt you."
Abby nodded. "Bringing them dinner is a good idea, the kitchen is on the way. Saiya needs something to keep her awake." She informed him as she smiled up at him. Her eyes swirled colors, never landing on just one, it was odd but seers often had odd eyes. Saiya's were an odd color, but Abby's were all colors.

"Alright then. The kitchen always keeps coffee going for the patrol shifts." he said, taking Abby's hand as they headed towards the kitchens. "Do you think Saiya would enjoy some Vanilla in her coffee?"
"I know... But I'm more concerned about you." Kai whispered, running a hand up and down her back. "I hate that I can't protect you from them."

Hulinn sighed. "Cral is going to get the witch. Then she will be ok and you will have protected them both." She said as she sat down in a chair. "Abby is with him I think."
Saiya just nuzzled into him and held him tightly. Trying to comfort him as much as he did her.
Abby nodded. "Vanilla milk and two sugars." She told him. "I know how to make it." She assured him as they entered the kitchens. "There are sandwiches in the fridge." She pointed out as she moved to pull a chair over to the coffee to make it.

"I bet they'd love some of chief's cake with those sandwiches to." Cral added, pulling open the fridge to pull out the food. "Watch that coffee pot. Its a little possessed sometimes." he cautioned, realizing that probably already knew that.
"I hope he doesn't take the girl with him. Saiya and little girl are both open to their attacks." Kai pointed out, his arms tightening around Saiya instinctively.

Hulinn frowned. "I doubt it. He doesn't seem like the type to put a kid in danger." SHe assured Kai.
Saiya yawned and wrapped her arms around his waist. "You're making me sleepy." She told him with another soft kiss to his neck.
Abby gave him an amused look over her shoulder as she made the coffee, handing him one of the cups. "You'll need it." She assured him as she hopped down off the chair and put it back in it's exact place.

"More then likely." he agreed as he took the cup, taking a sip of it before setting it down on the counter. Turning he removed the cake covering to cut four generous slices from it, placing them all on plates with the sandwiches. "Come on then. Time to get this Saiya and the others then." Cral said, winking at Abby as he took two of the plates.
"Is that a bit of fondness I hear?" Kai teased, poking Saiya gently in the side. "Sorry." he muttered, chuckling a bit.
