Zalain Valkash I will portect them even if i must allow my soul to be consumed...i will portect them
he looked at Akatan and chuckled "well even without a great fragment i am a force to be reckoned with, i juts hope for my sake i don't have to use my full power." he turns back to face the oracle again "no worries i understand. in the heat of the moment i make the first decision that pop's into my head without thinking about other options, thats no way for a leader to act." he said softly letting out a sigh, He walks over and takes a seat for a moment as he seems in though but listening to the conversations around him.{{wish you well hope its not serious sad }}

~Echo Noir~ The echoes of my past fade away... Echo hit the ground and skid back. Good thing she had altered the water in the air at the last second. The water had taken most of the blow but even still that blow had hurt. Echo looked at Sierre. She closed her eyes for a breif moment breathing out. "..that's not how it happened and you know it.." she thought, telling herself to leave it behind. "That's exactly how it did" Sieere said now inches from herface. "My blood is on your hands." Echo opened her eyes and sent an opened palm strike to the girl's middle. Sierre flew back then stood. She tried to stay upright and run back at Echo but staggered. Blood trickled from her mouth. Echo had hit and exact spot messing with Sierre's heart. Sierre's eyes darkened with anger. The girl pointed at her and lightning shot from her fingers. Echo's eyes widened and she dodged. "I could've been better" Sierre said walking toward Echo with faltering steps. "My skills would've more than trippled if I had lived." "No" Echo said rising. "You would've been worse" Echo faced the girl. "You would have lost your soul and you know it. It was kill or be killed and you were willing to destroy everyone and anyone. You were as sporadic as your element." Sierre's eyes crackled. "Shut up!" Sierre rose her hands and this time blue lightning shotat Echo with a furousity that had not been there before. Echo raised her arm up and water came. She whipped her arm forward as ithrowing a soft ball and the water seemed to double in size as it shot towards the lightning. The liquid condensed and broke through the electricity but it only made a hole through it. Echo stood as the blue lightning continued to move at her. The water she had sent continued to head for Sierre but the girl didn't move as well. The lightning stopped inches from Ehco then as pulled into the water. Sierre's eyes wetn wide and a sound of disbelief and frustration resounded resembling nothing even remotely human like. Sieere was struck with the force of her own elelemtn as well as Echo's. Echo then took a deep breath and breathe out. The water one Sierre froze around her. This below zero temperature froze her heart and then shattered. Echo looked around waiting. She then sighed. Obviously this task wasn't over yet. Echo began to walk away and keep moving wehn fire shot up in front of her feet. She jumped back screaming. her eyes scanning. She moved to get out of the flames but it spread. Echo realized what was about to happen and tried to springt away but ti was too late. She was now encirlced in the inferno. She cowarded away from the burning flames. She felt arms wrap around her waist. Echo pulled away and jumpped back still leaving room between her and the inferno. A skeleton stood before her. She tilted her head in curiousity and the white frame seemed to mirror her movement. A person began to form. First muscles nerves and blood, then skin. Dark blue cloathing appeared over the male figure as metallic, almost white, hair formed. "..Fayte.." she said with a confused look. The eyes and the features were exactly the same. "Hey" he said. So was the voice. Echo had to remind herself that this wasn't real and was a challenege. "Come here" he murmured with open arms. Echo shook her head with a distrustful look. The flames rose and she took an involuntary step forward, towards him. "Why this" she thought. A wicked smirk appeared on Fayte's face and a long sword appeared. "Oh well" he said without a bit of remorse. He luned forward and at her. Echo moved quickly dodging. she jumpped up pushing down his blade then pushing up and over using his shoulder as leverage. He swung around and pointed at her. Echo remebered too late that Fayte had a blade that could act as a pistol. The bullet's burning metal tore cleanly trhugh her shoulder. She bit back a scream. Echo made two twin sai which were as long as twin swords. "If your mine fnal opponent" she said looking at his easy smile not holding the menace it had wo seconds earlier. "Then I'm going to win" she murmured more to herself to him. Echo lunged forward swing her right saidown. Fayte countered and Echo caught his blade in her sai. Using her left sai she tore through his middle. She had to stop herself from cringing at the sight of his blood. Fayte instantly disappeared and Echo staggered forward. She stopped herself a mere foot from the flames. Memories of being surrounded, smoke and fire, no way of escape but to kill of be killed. Echo told herslef to focus and tried to rise up. She needed to get farther from the heat. Fayte had appeared behind her and used this as his chance. He stepped on her shoulder. Pain shot through Echo's body almostdragging her under. she faught against unconsciousness refusing to be dragged under it's depths. "Let go" he sid. "After all you'd be doing the world a favor if you just...slipped away Echo" he said her name softly in a way that if it had been an other place she would've loved to her. ut not in this moment.

Omotayo La'Treill
The Mighty Lion
The fight between Omotayo and the hooded man was still going on, on both ends punches has been landed, blocked and dodged but it was an intense battle, Omotayo still was puzzled on why this fighting style seemed so familiar but then after a devastating puinch he finally realized it. On the ground after taking the punch Omotayo was dazzed, dizzy, he was mentally arguing about the situation, this style that the clocked man was using was so familiar because it was that of his fathers, he had no idea how this man came to use his fathers style but it was superiors to Omotayo's style since he focused more on speed and strength which wasn't all that was needed in a fight, specially when fighting those who used more complicated styles. In his head he could hear someone starting to count, iot was as if he was in a boxing match but that wasn't the case at all, he could hear his father giving one of his lectures about technique, counters, and what not, this is mostly what his fathers style is about, technique, counters, footwork, and combinations but Omotayo was stuck on building his style around his speed and power.
Pulling himself back to his senses, he looked up at the others, they were in trouble, they were looking bad and exhausted though he knew all to well they were after the Forge Heart and to do that they would have to take Lunia's life which he couldn't and won't allow. Pushing himself off the ground he finally stood up before the ref in his head reached 10, he was now glaring at him a little weak from the force of the blow and the shock that surged through his body which seemed to immobilize his legs in paralyzes for a moment. "Hehe, so the lion isn't as powerful as he thought and can't protect no one." The hooded man spoke and chuckled as he took stance again, he then dashed towards Omotayo with the intentions of finishing this fight. Quickly Omotayoutilized the wind as a current was to knock the man backwards, Omotayo didn't to much use his powers but when needed he would and it was needed at this moment as he bought more time for the paralyzes to wear off and once it did he advanced the man while he was still off balance from the blow he took from the wind and Omotayo came with a fury of hook which for the most part landed.
Punching the cloaked man from left to right he used his power and speed to keep it up and deliever one devastating right which would normally make someone fly but this man slid back and from all the blows he only took minimum damage which was because the man threw his head back, going with the flow of the punches, so its almost like he absorbed the power of the blows. The man had a smirk on his face while Omotayo was looking to the others as they were standing there facing off against their opponent trying to keep their breath, this made Omotayo look at the cloak men who were their opponents seeing they are also running out of energy but still they had the upper hand. Little did Omotayo know, it was his will of wanting to protect him above all else, carrying everyones burden and pain, not believe in those around him and dear to him that they could indeed protect themselves that was holding them back. You see, his trial is to teach him, that he can't rely on just brute force, strength, and speed, like in wore or chess you have to use your head and also to teach him that he can't save everyone, that he shouldn't carry everyone and their burdens on his shoulders, to tell him that it is okay for him to rely on others, to him to trust in them. This was all a lesson of sacrifice, knowledge, and believing.
Omotayo blocked a punch from the cloaked man as he began to accept these facts, his mind was else where while his body unconciously fought back, he was being forced to watch as his friends being beat and basicly torture in battle but now as he accept the fact that he isn't alone in this, that his friends and love ones are with him and always will be, the Lunia, Ume, and Klay in his trial began to fight but but they seem to be stronger, the seem to have more energy, they also seem to be pushing the men back but this didn't change the fact that the men still had an upper hand. Omotayo expression had changed, it was of a more confident one now and the look in his eye's had also changed, as the large cloaked man came at him, he noticed it but pressed on, deliever a heavy hook Omotayo ducked and came back with an uppercut, followed by a right straight and a left hook, he was now gaining and learn his rhythm which in his case he hadn't found but how that he had, he began countering punches, and deliever effective combinations.
"Well, it seems like your finally learned to listen." The man said combing back at Omotayo with a firece and powerful combination of his own, one that his father was indeed known for. "But to late, game over." Omotayo was sent flying backwards and had tumbled on the floor a few times before he came to a stop stunned by the shock of the blows. "Your all so pathetic, but its fine your miserable lives will be taken and the Forge Heart ours." He stated as he turned around to walk towards the others, the man wanted Omotayo to watch his friends die. "That's where your wrong." He started off staying which made the man stop in his tracks, though he still couldn't move for the combination was to paralyze Omotayo as well as knock his wind out making it harder to him to move as well, this was indeed painful. "See unlike you we only fight for one purpose and that to protect and to keep peace. Yes it might seem like fighting is the wrong way to do such thing, but with people like you it give us no other choice. I not only fight for myself, I fight for all of Damascus, I fight for my friemds, I fight for my family, and I fight for the one if love." He stated giving no specific names, in the middle of his little speech he began to move which he should have been able to do, and by the end of his speech he was standing on his feet with the man in the cloak surprised and shocked.
With that he advanced forward, dashing while in his boxing stance, within a blink of an eye he was infront of his opponent and with force of the deadly yet graceful wind which had been stirred by his emotions he then delievered heavy punches from several direction surprisingly fast even for him. By catching the man off guard, he didn't have time to throw his head back and thistime he was caught by every single one of them, with the weight of his new resolve behind them, the combination he was unleashing was indeed a devastating one, with several hooks, straight, and lastly a mind blowing uppercut with the wind which his fight caught being shown with each landing. When this was done, the man was down and unconcious, looking over to the other they were badly injured but they were alive and so was he, and at that moment his trial would be over and he would return back to the Counsel Room batter, cloths torner, and exhausted.

~Echo Noir~ The echoes of my past fade away... Echo tried struggling under his foot, pain shot through her body sendinng her mind reeling agiain. She hissed out. He was right after all. she'd always been a fighter, always did whatever it took to survive, no matter what. Echo calmed laying back, her breath slightly labored. "That's right" he said with a cruel smile tha didn't match his tone. "Just lay back and die. It'll all be over soon enough" Fayte positions his sword near her throat The blood seeped from her wound, pain shot through her body..."Pain is only temporary.." she thought, but Fayte's words pushed her normal phrase to the back of her mind. Echo heard something under his voice. The sound seemed to be slipping under her nervous sytem. Echo;s eyes shot open. Fayte didn't have the ability of a siren. Nor did he possess any type of manipulation abilities. "This isn't real" she growled through clenched teeth. Fayte snarled in a very inhuman way. "..your..Your not him" Echo yelled and in that instance her eyes flashed, slitting. Her power was activating, spiking higher than she normally would have it. Fayte was thrown back. He landed smoothly though skiddig and stopping himself with his sword. "Who would want you?"he spat seeming to change tactics now. "Your not who you appear to everyone else" he said rising. "I know you and see throgh all of your lies Echo" Echo rose to her feet. "You've killed hundreds maybe thousands. You don't deserve to live" Echo's anger and misery flared fulling her power. SHe opened her mouth and a wordless sound came out. It was the most lovely melody you ever heard,...at first. Soon it began to tear through their surroundings. The buidling began to warp and fall apart. Fayte flinched but other than that this did nothing. "You don't want to live anyways" he said now. "I will end this all for you" Fayte raised his blade again. Another shot ran out tearing through her leg. Echo fell to her knees. She looked up at him through her bangs. She breathed now the pain bringing her back from that random siren's song that pobably had resulted from her voice's lack of use this month. Echo blinked and her pupils dilated to normal. Fayte moved closer standing in front of her. He raised his blade. "Good bye Echo" he murmured cheerfully... "I..I wasn't supposed to survive all of that.." she thought. "I'm torn and messed up in so many places I shouldn't exist....But I do" Echo looke dup now. "I'm not broken" she murmured. "I've survived this long and its for a reason" Echo raised up her hand and her sai caught the attack. "Your not real, but I am" Echo growled rising. She swung her leg, whipping it at a lightning speed none of the other had ever seen her use. Fayte went down and hit the ground hard cracking it. Blood splatter from his mouth as ribs puncture a lung. Fayte tired standning with his blade. "You are nothing more than an echo" he stammered. "..I may be...But I had to start somewhere" she said with a smile dispite he blood covered body. She flipped a sai down and stabbed it towards the ground. The water in Fayte's body tried to follow the blade's motion causing all of his blood to travel in different courses and speeds. Fayte coughed once then slumped over still holding his blade but dead none the less. Echo knew it was over now. Before she appeared back she caught a glimpse of someone moving in a dark cloak in the depths of this reality. She gave an inquisitive look before fading from that place. .If I keep them from myself I won't fall apart... ...I am the orginal Black..

While the trials occurred, Dais delivered the books and picked up other books from the Damascus library. One of the Damascan librarian had raised an eyebrow and almost started complaining about the long overdue book, but Dais had shut him up with a simple cold stare. ...yes, Dais did have that effect on people if he wanted to.
Anyhow, the gears in the clockwork were turning, and things were about to get exciting. The librarian sighed and started heading back to Meracilite once again for the Vackel bound books.

It felt like the fires, the explosions, all of it would never end in Mai's trial. It was as if the industrial sector was falling into chaos one area at a time. She panted heavily as she continued to use her abilities. Her eyes were white, her skin and clothes stained in char and soot. She had herself hooked up to an oxygen tank so the smoke and gasses that mixed in to each other would not cause her to become poisoned, and repeating such safety measures with the other workers. Her heart pounded in her chest, her adrenalin pumped rapidly through her body as she ran back and forth, retrieving men, trying to patch up holes caused by explosions, impacting the gasses into nothingness. She was mortally exhausted, but somehow she kept going. So many men were injured, others her dead. She made the order to sound the evacuation sirens to the city.
"This is getting worse... I have to do something..." She told herself as she carried another man on her back to safety and taking off back into the inferno. She gazed up at a pot of molten metals and she just barely managed to catch the crack in its massive barrel as it burst forth. Mai shoved her hands forward bringing forth a wave of ice cold water out of the atmosphere and launched it towards the molten metals. The two oppositions clashed together in a scream of sizzles and the metal hardened in it's state. But there was too much for just her to handle, Mai wasn't about to be completely stupid and sacrifice her life when it was unnecessary, to her, there was always another option.
She had only one last option to stop the metal. Wings, white as snow, sprouted from her back reaching 15 feet in length each. Her men watched from further away through the smoke and ash in awe and she lunged upward, moving the water particles towards the molten metal from above, hoping to seal the surface in it's place before it could travel any further. It finally subsided and she landed between it and her men. Her wings dissipated into light as she landed. She gazed towards the destroyed sector, now under control, the flames had finally died out, and all that remained was smoke and cinder. With a final breath of exhaustion, Mai collapsed onto the ground, her men running towards her to take her back to safety. Her vision became black again. That's when she remembered...that was a trial. Only a trial.

The Oracle smiled. He snapped his fingers bringing both Echo and Omotayo back to the real world, their injuries were healed and their bodies restored. " Very good, both of you, I was very impressed by your cleverness and your ability to see through the darkest situations. " He said clapping lightly. He stood up and said. " Well I believe that concludes our meeting. " He said calmly. He looked up seeing as a screen still remained. " Oh? Who is this? Of yeah that servant girl. What's she doing in a trial? She wasn't chosen by either myself or you all. So pitiful. " He said softly. " People like that don't deserve the endless power of a fragment. " He looked at everyone and said. " Seeing as everyone has passed I will now distribute the Fragments, follow me. " He said as he started to walk from the room, if he gve the fragments to them inside the building would be crushed simply by the size of the fragments.
Fayte smiled and rushed to Echo as she returned. He stood infront of her and said. " You did brilliantly! You really showed...me I guess. " He laughed remembering he was her final opponent just like she was his. 'What an odd coincidence' he thought to himself. He smiled and said. " Let's go see what fragment you got, Lady Echo. " He said with a smile. The Lady in her name would be bestowed upon her once she claimed her fragment of course she had no kingdom to rule just like the others but it was something he felt they all deserved.

((Man you guys are mean, I'm just trying to involve my character in the story, talk about getting tossed aside like a rag doll.))
Mai finished her trial, and ended up back in Damascus, not in the meeting room. Well..she was just outside of Damascus. But as she came out of it, she heard the Oracles voice and what he said. When her eyes opened she sat up. She wasn't healed from the endeavor, so she was forced to lay there, her body blackened from smoke and fires from the trial. She was much too tired to move. It's not like I was planning on doing a trial... She thought to herself. The words 'So Pitiful' rang in her ear. "That Oracle..." Her eyes narrowed. "I don't trust him..." She felt almost betrayed by it, by everyone, even though she didn't even really know them. She managed to get onto her feet and started walking...but...not towards the city of Damascus. She traveled a different direction, letting her newly awakened memories lead her from it. Her muscles ached, and her steps were uneasy and heavy as she continued down the old grown-in road.

Kendal Shadowheart Kendal looked at Fayte "Wish us luck" He said. He then looked at the Oracle and nodded and followed him. Kendal was still in thought about his trial the clone of him had said how could he protect others if he didn't know himself. He began to wonder what he was exactly it's not like he had ran into others like himself before. He then shook his head if he was given a fragment he knew he would take that to heart he would find out who and what he was. He looked to the oracle wondering if he knew.

╔═════════╗ Hitomi Michiko ╚═════════╝‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚·°·‚ 》》》Hitomi had gotten down from the table and managed to wipe all the blood of her skin. Even though the wounds had stopped bleeding, they were still some what visible. She had regained her energy and was able to move around with out much effort. As the last two, Omotayo and Echo, came back from their trial she walked towards them. She looked to the Oracle when he started to speak. Her gaze turned to Zalain then she looked back at the Oracle, following him outside. On top of all the other things she was thinking of, she also wondered if she would she be one to receive a great fragment.

~Echo Noir~ The echoes of my past fade away... Echo looked around. Everything was dark, so she closed her eyes. When she opened them she was back in her seat. Echo blinked as the weird sesation of shifting realities faded. She looked at her shoulder and moved her leg. All that remained was a barely noticeable phantom pain that was already subsiding. Echo looked up as the Oracle's voice called attention. She looked back up to see Fayte approach. She almost tense, but then he spoke. Echo stood out of her chair; for some reason she wanted to embrace him. This confused her somewhat but she dismissed this. A slight flush touched her cheeks as she remembered that her whole trial had been viewed. Echo couldn't help but flash a dazzling smile for him at his words. "Thank you Fayte" she said softly in that melodic voice of her's. Echo then headed outside after everyone else including the Oracle. .If I keep them from myself I won't fall apart... ...I am the orginal Black..

Mai wasn't so sure what she had all witnessed. We these people trying to be heroes? She stumbled upon uneven ground as she pushed herself forward. It felt like hours had passed to her and she found herself on the outskirts of Celarius. Her legs however, finally gave up on her when she reached the top of a hill. The impact wasn't as bad as she thought as her body rolled down the side of the hill, her breathing was heavy and shallow and she began to cough in a fit. She was still covered in soot and dirt from the events of the trial, it was difficult to tell what she looked like underneath it.

(( No one's being mean you just placed your character in a very odd perdicament, you threw her into a trial when the Oracle himself must send you to a trial as I showed by him personnally sending all of the others to their trials, and now you're having you character wander off in a random direction if you want your character to get attention you need to talk, during the council meeting you had her stand serve water a few times but she said nothing, none of them are mind readers they wouldn't know if you wanted a say in the conversatino or simply if you wanted to talk. So please don't further seperate your character by making her angry. ))
The Oracle smiled lightly. He spread his 6 wings both black and white feathers shot from their radiance. He looked at the 5 graduates so to speak. " You all have done well and as far as I can see you all deserve to control a Great Fragment. " He said as 5 enormous bursts of multi colored light flashed themselves into the sky. They faded gently as faint sparkeling dust slowly fell to the ground. They blew around the five graduates before disappearing. Where the lights had been now hovered the 5 Great Fragments. People from all over Damascus stared in awe as the new editions to the fragment list arrived. The Sentences of the Judges roared thunderously flapping it's stony wings. The Night's Bloom eminated a perfect array of aurora lights which clung to it's crystaline surface, it's star like shape glistened in the light giving off arrays of blue and purple lights. The Sage's Folly stood floating in the air, the tower was regal indeed made from a glistening almost gem like black rock that reflected the light from the sun beautifully. The Cascading Bonds spun gently it's glowing surface gave off a mystic aura as if it were touched by blessed ones. The Harbinger was the last to appear, it's mighty metallic body stood formidably over the kingdom, from inside of it's seemengly endless barrel could be heard sounds of crackeling energy stored deep inside. " These Fragments are what I give to you, and now you 5 must choose. I understand that you Akatan weer very fond of the Sage's Folly and as such I grant it to you. " He held out his hand, the giant tower slowly moved across the sky eclipsing the sun for a moment as it hovered over Akatan. " While you Hitomi I believe were fond of the Night's Bloom. It is yours. " He pointed towards Hitomi and the beautiful Fragment flew towards Hitomi floating above her head it bathed her in a radiant bluish purple light. He looked towards Omotayo and laughed lightly. " I believe you said that you wished to protect those you loved, and then I heard you say you were impartial to the Harbinger if I am not mistaken. " He said as he pointed towards Omotayo. The Harbinger in all it's might flew towards Omotayo stopping above him it loomed ominously overhead as a symbol to all of his enemies. " Now I do not believe I heard the two of you claim a fragment, cho Kendal choose, will you choose the nullifying powers of Cascading Bonds? Or will you choose the almighty protection of the Sentences of the Judges? If any of you wish to trade your fragments with any of the others now is the time to do it, once the connection is made no one besides you will be able to use their power, choose carefully, for it will shape the fabric of your world. " He said with a kind smile.

((Oh there's a purpose behind the wandering. And of course she didn't say anything, she didn't want to be found out. That was only logical. Anyways, you didn't have to chew me out about it. I've felt thrown aside or ignored from the beginning. Whatever, I'll think of something else.))
Mai sat up from her dip in the hillside. She didn't know how long she had been passed out for, but she felt like she got some energy back. Gazing down at her dirtied hands, it finally clicked in to her that she needed to wash up. There was a large river in which led back to Damascus. She figured she should return. Sulking about it wasn't going to get her anywhere. She was in luck with the current, it took her effortlessly back to her country. In order to speed her travel she took her wings out, and used them as giant fins to speed through the river. She was getting clean just from that. On her travel, she debated on releasing her uncovered information to the public. But she was unsure. Perhaps she would go to Damascus' library for some answers.
