Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

Edge eyed the factory from the outside curiously, almost seeing no change beside burn and smoke damage. Sure, Tango had kept it neat and clean for an abandoned factory, but to her, it was all the same.

Slowly, not wanting to attract any possible attention that may or may not have been in the area, she walked into the factory, looking around. She couldn't be certain, but wanted to take no chances. Her past two visits in factories ended with cannibal Mavericks and fires. It was safe to say she had bad luck..

The inside had no real damage, oddly. Smoke stains, sure, but that was all.
Were the walls and equipment to speak, it would go on for nearly a millenia...

Icarus sat in the Command Room, looking over several data-feeds.

Edge rose an eyebrow, curious and confused at the lack of damage within the building. The Maverick had started the damage inside, trying to kill her and Tango. Yet all there was to suggest a fire was smoke damage. Even if the rescue team had gotten her immediately, there should have been some sort of flame related damage.

Curious as to where the damage mysteriously went, Edge began to investigate around the factory.

Compared to the rest of the city, the Factory was unusually quiet. The silence seemed...Unnatural.

"Is anybody here?" Edge called out, looking around nervously in case she had more unexpected company. She would not let the last two incidents slip in her mind... They were obviously warnings that factories were disasters waiting to happen.  

[Zahzi]

Nothing answered back, but the feeling of being watched continued...

Steam entered the command room and walked straight up to Icarus. "Is there something being done about or communication issues? Does anyone even KNOW what's going on?!" he asked.

"Who's in here?" Edge called out again, drawing out a saw blade in her hand. "I know you're here, so reveal yourself now, or I'll deal with you through violent means."  

[Zahzi]

Icarus looked to Steam with a quizzical look.
"What are you talking about? What issues..?"

Nothing would answer Edge, as nothing was there. The factory itself gave an atmosphere of unease on its own.
It was also quite telling as to how Tango acted with how he did.

Edge grunted in annoyance, loading the saw blade back in her arm as she pressed forward into the factory, heading for and searching the room Tango had gone into when he needed a moment of privacy from her.

The room was untouched by the fire, a large computer lighting up the majority of the room.
The monitors seemed to acknowledge her presence and turned to face her.

"I called for air support a while ago and it became clear when I went to the hanger myself that they hadn't got the message. So either something's broken or someone is ******** with us," Steam explained.  

[Zahzi]

"Odd.." Icarus replied, looking at the screen again and tapping a few buttons.
"....Yeah, it says you and Dozer went dark when the Seismic activity was felt...No indication as to who you were talking to....."

Edge tilted her head, curious about the moving and seemingly living monitor. Hopefully it wouldn't decide to turn violent against her, though it was hard to say with Tango's things sometimes...

"Metalman." She said, wondering what response the computer may give.  

[cptflint]

Steam nodded. "We had to fight Prometheus with no support and almost died because of it. Someone's clearly ******** with our communications... is there anything we can do to stop it?"
