Jounouchi could feel his face pale slightly, 'Did... did he just call me dear...?' Way to bring back the awkward... "Um... okay..." he scratched his head, looking down at the different pastries. Now these were more his thing... sure, he didn't know all the different names like beignets or tarts or whatever, but he did know that he like strawberry-flavored things, and that was good enough. He eventually picked out a strawberry turnover, looking up at the menu curiously at all of the strange blends and coffee flavors afterwards.
((Haha, what kind of parts did you imagine? XD Probably exactly how I would be ordering at a coffee place... I would probably just get a smoothie. o.o
Oh, you see Haruhi in me? XD;; Gosh, I agree with so many of her beliefs it's scary... my group of friends and I, we pretty much had the perfect amount of people to make up the Host Club, and I got assigned as Mori. This was before I had really heard of Host Club, but after I watched it, I did decide that Mori was my favorite character, so I was fine being assigned as him, but I really think I'm more like Haruhi. o.o She's my second favorite character though. X3 And um... I was shocked to find out that people don't know about instant coffee... ~_~;; That's pretty much what my mom survives off of... We're poor. ^^;; Erm... I'll never understand coffee obsessions though... it's just a grinded up bean that tastes nasty to boot. Kind of like alchohol, but not as bad...))

Fortunately, Jounouchi had been too engrossed in studying the super long and complex menu that he hadn't heard the little conversation at the cash register. He blinked in surprise when his wrist was suddenly grabbed and he was being dragged away, "Uwah...!" he looked at Malik and huffed, "H-hey, I can *walk* ya know!" he said impatiently, allowing Malik to lead the way anyway.

H-how can you not like Mori?! O_o I mean... I can see not caring for him but... disliking him? He's too quiet and boring to dislike! XD;; I know he's not a very popular character, but that's just because he doesn't do much... >_>;; I have weird tastes in characters come to think of it... who's your favorite? o.o
Erm... I think I'm good. ^^;; I can't stand the taste of coffee at all. I've tried the chocolate frozen things and everything, and they were fine, except for the hint of coffee that I could taste. *shivers* To me it's like... onions... don't like it at all, and even if you can taste just a little bit... makes the whole thing nasty. Gosh I hope you don't like onions so you know why I'm talking about. XD;; But um... then people try to get me to try things and say, "Oh, c'mon, you can't even taste the coffee!" to which I reply, "Then what's the point of me trying it? Wasn't the point originally for me to experience coffee drinks?" ^^;; ))

Jounouchi practically fell into the chair, stumbling as he caught his balance and looking up at Malik in annoyed confusion. What was up with him all the sudden; he was acting like he'd seen a ghost. Jounouchi outwardly shivered at the thought of a ghost in the coffee shop, his minde quickly wandering off of Malik's odd behavior.

Awww, I love Mori because he doesn't talk much, yet he'll do anything for Honey. It's so cute. <3
Ha, we really do have opposite tastes. XD;; Mori and Haruhi are my two favorite characters, and you seem to dislike Mori but like Haruhi. Tamaki and Hikaru are your two favorite, but I highly dislike Tamaki and love Hikaru. XD;; Tamaki is like... the only main character I don't like... ^^;;
I hate the taste of alchohol too... champaign is okay, but that's pretty much the only kind I've liked so far. And then when people give you a drink and say, "You can't even taste the alchohol!" I get upset and say, "Then there's no point in there being alchohol in it! I would never drink that toxic substance unless I was gaining something taste-wise, but since I don't like the taste, I'm not going to drink alchoholic beverages, and if you give me one where you can't taste the alchohol, you might as well give me one without any." I use that quote all the time... sadly, my friends have never offered me alchohol... it's my friggin family that does! X_x What kind of example is that...? I'm underage still. Don't they have any sense of responsibility?

Jounouchi blinked a few times, wondering why Malik was acting so strange, "Um... thank you...?" he looked down at the drink and picked it up, taking a sip, "Hmm..." he smiled, "It's definitely different than what I've drinken, but it is good. Didn't realize coffee could be sweet." he looked across the table at Malik, "You get the same thing?"
((Erm... that's pretty much the reason I hate him... what you just did... ^^;; He's far too dramatic for my tastes... I admit, it is cute and funny sometimes, but I just find it overdone. What I don't like even more about him is that he's shallow, homophobic, and sexist. Yup. And I thought it was impossible to not like Mori, so I guess we both discovered something new tonight. ^^
Ergh... stupid peer pressure kids... the most I've ever been pressured to do is go out TPing. I tried it once, didn't like it, never let someone talk me into it again. Once I was spending the night at a friend's house with a couple other people, and they wanted to go TPing, and I refused, so I ended up staying at their house and hanging out with their mom. o.o That was interesting... I just think it's stupid that people give into that.))

((Gosh, we found my friggin' sister! The idiot was off sleeping with another guy... ~.~;; I mean... I'm all for her ditching this boyfriend of her's, but she had my mom so freaked! And she told her boyfriend she was seeing a movie with my mom, so that added some confusion... *sigh* The moron...))
"O-oh, um... okay." Jounouchi replied, blinking awkwardly as he took another sip. He looked off to the side, staring out the window at a couple of kids going by on roller blades. This was just... uncomfortable. He was starting to understand why Malik was acting strange. He was pretty sure it was because of yesterday, that Malik felt bad and was trying to be nice now. But he was trying too hard now... it was kind of creepy... Jounouchi sweat-dropped as he thought of Malik going around to charities and volunteering at soup kitchens. He suddenly noticed some kids walk by with packs of Duel Monsters cards. He looked curiously as they opened the packs, excitedly digging through them in the hopes of getting a rare card. Jounouchi was happy to see that one of the kids got a reletively rare card, in which the kid was very excited, but he frowned when the two walked by a trash can and threw all the commons away. Little unappreciative brats...
((^^;; Oh um... I'm sorry dear... I get teased in real life too, but I don't think I do as much as you... *pat pat*
Hah, I don't care for Otogi either, so that explains that. And... I'm one of those people who sees any type of discrimination towards a gender as sexist, even though Tamaki is more like... he doesn't think males are better than females, but he has defined roles in his mind for each gender, and that's what pisses me off. I think people should be able to act as their personality chooses and not be held back by the traditional roles of their genders. And for the homophobic thing... he also seems to be against the twins' 'act,' though he puts up with it... but anyway... aren't there only around 26 episodes? o.o So you've seen almost all of them... what was going on when you left off?
You're on a weird sleeping schedule too? ^^;; I've been staying up so late every night, and sleeping in till noon! O_O I'm a morning person! It's creeping me out! gonk
Anyway, speaking of which, I should probably get some sleep now... good night!))

((I don't have a normal eating schedule right now either. XD;; I'm not exactly having three meals a day... lately I've just been drinking juice after I wake up, then wait a few hours to actually eat... and then it's always random, with no specific meals at specific times. ^^;;
I do agree that Tamaki can be funny, but I still don't agree with his beliefs, and he still pisses me off a lot... ^^;;
H-he did? o.o I could've sworn the twins came up with that on their own... I know he asked them to join the Host Club, but I could've sworn there was a point where they mentioned he didn't like the BL act...

((Yeah. ^^;; I was gone all day and night playing Rock Band again, but I got home. <3 Heh, never watched Death Note. Read scans of the manga back before anyone knew what the hell it was, but that's about it. (a friend of mine went to Japan right as volume two or three was coming out there, and she ended up getting into it and telling me about it when she got home, even though hardly anyone in America had heard of it at the time) It was kind of neat getting into such a popular fandom before everyone else. ^^;;
I always forget to eat at home because I wanna be at the computer or play video games. D: I seem to eat a lot more when I'm out for the day.
S-seriously...? Gosh, I feel stupid now... I think I vaguely remember Tamaki saying that too... XP Bleh, sorry for the confusion. Maybe I'm thinking of a fanfiction or something?))
