I'm majoring in Music Production and Recording. Hopefully, I'll be working in a pro studio after college sometime. So, I'm looking for some basic shtuff to play with.

That's kinda weird that a computer program has that huge of a fanbase.

Well, Vocaloid is a vocal synthesizer program. There's only 3 English Vocaloids (Leon, Lola, and Miriam), and 8 Japanese ones (Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Kaito, Meiko, Gumi, & Gakupo Kamui)
You should look into them if that's what you wanna do; they're good for pitching demos that you don't have a singer for.
And Fruity Loops is a very good DAW for Electronic Music. I've made several tracks for friends' parties and s**t.
