Shoot targets instead.

You would know this?

Friend of a friend. They were both out shooting stuff in a desert with some other guys after a wedding. They just went to the 99-cent store and got whatever they could find that would be fun to shoot at.... A computer monitor, big block of sculpting clay.... Other stuff.
Later that night, as it was getting dark and they were about to leave, they found one of those barbecue-sized propane tanks in the back of someone's car. One of the guys, who was like crazy good with aim, having grown up with guns, had about 10 shots left in his gun... Some kinda semi-long-range rifle... It was dark, which is why it was him.
Shot once... Missed. Again... Missed. 9 times, nothing. Finally, the 10th shot, it exploded. They go to get the blown-up tank afterwards, instead of leaving trash there.... 9 dents in the tank's shell. He hit all 10 times, in the dark, pretty far away.... It didn't blow up until the 10th, and last, bullet.
