Question, would thrusting Zusyotsu into berserk have him get a crap ton of skills at once, and driving him mad from all the power simultaneously?

Atma cores are a power up, so if you ate one (or more) you would get stronger and learn new skills, yes.
The being driven mad part is really up to you and if you'd want that to be part of your character's story.

Normal berserk? No. In fact, traditionally, a "berserk" Atma form has much stronger offense (it is very, very hax in DDS2, especially with the special item that lets you fight in that form normally), but also massively reduced defense. XD Now, if you got a bunch of Atma cores first, that'd be a whole other matter...
Though, berserk Atma isn't really a mechanic around here... more of an occasional plot point.

@Necro: We can ask Arena about it? If it goes the traditional "Offense way up, Defense way down" route, that seems fair enough to not be a game-breaker or anything, and it *is* a canonical power, so I'd support it. ^^ Not to mention the other restrictions...
