He smiled back, his smile bright and shinning. He took her bag in one hand. "Alright, lets go." He said and held a hand out for her to climb onto the railing of the balcony.

He got a leg up on the balcony railing and pushed off and into the air, pulling Raylana down with him. He let them fall for a few moments, the wind rushing at their faces. Then he began his transformation. His skin turned to scales, and out of his back sprouted winds. Before they hit the ground he was a dragon. He caught Raylana on his back and took off.

she squeeled with delight as she landed on his back and hung on. she wasnt uptight anymore. she completely trusted him now.

He flew fast, turning and twisting in the air. He was playing now, feeling free of obligation and responsibility now for the first time in a long time.

she laughed happily as she let go, leaning back to feel the wind fully on her body

He dived and soared all the way there untill the wind died down. When it did he steadied his course toward the desert kingdom.

He flew quickly, his excitment spurring him on. He soared over the desert villiages and the people greeted the dragon they knew to be their prince. soon the oasis was within sight and the people prepaired to greet their Prince and their soon to be Princess.

she looked at all the people and trembled slightly. 'am i good enough?' was her thought. 'im not a dragon, im only human, he'll outlive me. will the people even trust an outsider?'

Inwe searched the skies. Kaden was on the horizon. People bustled about.

Kaden landed gracefully in the courtyard. Residents of the palace flodded in to greet the Prince, and soon grew intruiged by the young woman atop his back. Kaden put his wing down to allow Raylana to get down. A long time Servant of the palace had the privilage of extending his hand to Raylana to help her off.

raylana slid off and lightly caught his hand. "thank you" she said softly, almost nervously
