The world would be a better place without any guns, nuclear weapons, etc...but, you're still going to have them in the foreseeable future. I think it's best to enforce our already existing gun laws, but also tighten aspects of gun control such as not being able to walk into a place and buy a gun willy nilly...and they do have those places. But it's also important to recognize that many of these people doing these shootings didn't have the authorization to even possess a gun. Ramping up security and/or discussing society and the psychological minds of these killers, as well as the availability of services that offer help, are essential parts to minimizing this problem.

@blind: Well yeah I guess we might need it in the future. Better security on these buyings would be very helpful, maybe even tracking devices in them to incase they are stolen and are reported stolen or missing
