Sorry my love, all alone. I’ll never wake up again. So, as I close my eyes, this is the last scene.
I still have four goosebumps books sitting on my shelf, and many more lying around the house in boxes. xD
I got the hobbit given to me when I was 12 I think...

Yup. It reawakened my like of reading.
I went through a no reading slump in hospital at the time, so when I got it and I was out it totally, did the trick lol...
But there was no library in the hospital at the time I think, or maybe I was too busy playing games all the time to care about books. xD
Anyways. Hospital made me a gamer. >.>
But I still read. Go figure.

I read Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut when I was a junior... great epic book if I do say so myself. Have either of you guys read it? Vonnegut's books are so... hmm, can't think of a word. He's got a very twisted sense of humor... plus his books make me think.

Haven't read it. I prefer Modesitt. His storylines never lose your interest, and he can do a battle scene like no other. Except Terry Brooks or Tolkien, maybe.

D:!! Like whoa. Might wanna go to a local library and see if you can find any of his books. ^^ I own two of them. Player Piano and Hocus Pocus. He writes a lot about WWII ... Slaughterhouse-Five was good... mmyes, that was a GREAT book.

Not much into WWII books. I'm more of a fantasy reader.

The World Wars really aren't my thing...
I still have to attempt to read Emperor's Bones by Adam Williams. Not so sure its set in a world war, but I know its definitely set in a war...
They are just about the only books I have a hard time reading. sweatdrop

By the way, if you really like good battle scenes, check out Magi'i of Cyador by Modesitt. Then there's Scion of Cyador. Best of his books I've read so far. And no, they're not only about fighting.

XD But the Vonnegut books aren't only about the war! There are aliens from planet Tralfamadore(in Slaughter-House Five) O_O; and they see in the fourth dimension... and they breed humans in their zoos... eh... oh dear, I just realized how much that could turn somebody away from reading it. It's really very satirical... science-fiction bleeding into reality.

I've been trying to get more into Sci-fi so I guess I will give him a try.
Like I said, I have a hard time reading WW books, but I am not so closed as not to try. xD
And don't worry. It sounds oh so sexy. wink
