5-10 years is new, in terms of Crime. Compare Identity Theft to say...Murder. Theft. *****. When compared to those crimes, you'll understand just how new Identity Theft and Hacking really is.
Also here's the web site to my friend who does Security stuff. So you can find pepper spray, door alarms, and more on her site. After getting robbed that night right next to my apartment building, I have realized that you can never be too safe! @.@

Yes in the MODERN WORLD of technology, but I am saying SINCE CRIME BEGAN, hacking is NEW. I am comparing Hacking to OTHER CRIMES that have existed for THOUSANDS OF YEARS!!
Stealing has existed for OVER 2,000 YEARS.
Hacking? LESS then one HUNDRED years!
Therefore COMPARED to stealing, hacking is a new TYPE of crime!

P_Tama Please don't fight. It makes the small one scared. We're not fighting at all. If we were fighting we'd be throwing insults or whatever. We were just having a strong disagreement and intense discussion. Yeah I am talking about Crime Throughout History, you are talking about Crime Throughout Modern Times. Totally different scope here. Unfortunately this "Modern" crime stuff with Hacking and Identity Theft really doesn't get nearly as much of harsh sentencing as it deserves. >.<

Yeah all that "White Collar Crime" bullcrap that gets less sentence then blue collar stuff is stupid to me. I think crimes like Identity Theft should be treated as multiple counts of theft and other stuff. I mean a kid can get more time stealing a car, then stealing 1 million or more from a company. It's messed up.
More and more I think us people need to rise up and be a real visible force to our government. Let them know that we aren't to be pushed around.
