Mecha Main Street ~The RP~

((Phailure: occasionally I hop over to the intro thread, but not all the time. ^_^ You can call me Bosque, with or without the capitalization.))

Krinna very briefly considered taking cover behind Nia, then decided that Marcella's idea was far better. Moving like a streak of... er... fast-moving cat fur, Krinna dodged to the other side of the street and behind a randomly open door.
Obviously this army of whoever-they-were was hostile, so in one quick move she had pulled her bow literally out of nowhere and nocked an arrow from the same place. Aiming through the narrow space between the open door and and the doorframe, she fired one arrow after another at the destructive kaoris.
Not bothering to watch whether any particular arrow hit, as soon as she let one fly she nocked another and took aim again. Moments after coming to rest or hitting a target, each arrow dissolved back into the nothing from which it came.

the bad grammar of the brett cannon weakened its power considerably and it managed to destroy only one clone
six of the cats targets died were they stood

then the assult began...
he kaori clones became any numbers of shapes, sizes some becoming things not of this world others fifty foot insects
they were all here for blood.

A weak sounding allert went off through the hangar, and Erk gave one last tug at the wrench.

"THat beter be a glitch.." he siad, wlaking towards the elevator, picking up his robe and weapons, and rising to the surface hangar. He quickly saw taht it wasn't over the wreckage of his shop, and run ofer teh pile of ruble, picking up a gattling gun protruding from the rubble. He had to use his suits strength boosting function to carry it, but as soon as he reached the crest of the hill, his mask was on, and he was blazzing bullets at the cadre of thing marching down the road.

His first priority were the giant insect, but he did not hesitate to let the bullets continue to fly as he swept over the crowd.

The armor jolted to life as magic based defense systems activated and a magic bazooka apeared in her left hand.
She began by taking pot shots at any of the large flying doubles and any that got two close to her two companions.
"Stay or run krinna its your choice"
Nias armor deflected a spray of needles that came in her direction

Xaec turned to the new things and growled. "If me no can eat Krinna, you no can!" He lifted up an enourmous metal thing that had no discernable shape, but was clearly very heavy. He swung it around a few times before hurling it at the army of strange things that he could only assume were trying to eat the cat he couldn't eat. And in Xaec's mind, his promise meant making sure nothing else ate Krinna either. After all, how was he to know better?  

[The Mage of Space]

The mini mechs started firing their beam rifles, machine guns, beam cannons, bazookas, and cannons at the swarm of clones. Haro rolled into Brett's hangar and rolled back out. "Haro will kill clones!" Out of the little robot's head came a fairly large mega particle cannon. The fairly large mega particle cannon fired at some of the giant insects.

-haru continued her work.... hearing everything that was going on she smiled and smerked a bit and continued-

From around the randomly-open door Krinna had ducked behind, she snarled at the clones:
"Oh, sure... now you change form!"
She had been somewhat surprised and annoyed at that feature, but after pausing to deliberate for a moment she decided to make the most of it.
She started targeting the otherworldly creatures, whatever they were... aiming her arrows at the centers of all the biggest eyeballs she could see. Hopefully that would slow down some of them... the ones with the biggest eyes, anyway.

many kaori clones died from the attacks but many still existed
several took forms that countered with the existing fighters such as burrowing aliens and organic guns

Xaec's brain began whirring. This was a losing battle. There were only so many giant pieces of metal, and these things seemed endless. He turned to where Krinna had gone. "Krinna! Grab friend! We leave!"

Erk shouted to the other fighters, "YOu all get out of here" I can handle this."

He had exhausted the suply of bullets, and decide dthe gun would only a burden. He charged his strength, and hurlde the gun a a high enough speed it shatered on impact in the crowd, spreading shards of metal.

He switched to his rocket launcher, and pepered the crowd with inciderary rounds.

Meanwhile, the rest of the main streert was giving its typical response of armoured shutters and casings as well as staionary energy turrets. It was enough to keep them out, but not enough to push them back.

Cyrano had obviously taken a wrong turn, the first street he had walked down since going through the main gate was currently a battlefield. He froze on one side of the battlefield, entranced by the sight of so many futuristic weapons and foreign armor. All he could do was stand and watch, wide-eyed. In his medieval mind, nothing that he saw had ever existed. 'I must have time-traveled,' he thought to himself. This thought excited him, as he had always wanted to time-travel, to see what advances in technology would be made.

He watched, off of the street which had become a battlefield, knowing full well that he could be injured standing so close, but he was willing to risk it to catch a glimpse of what was going on.

a strange fog enveloped the area obstructing the vision of many within the area as the fight continued...

Fortunetly for the mecha and Haro, they had infrared targeting systems installed, and thus were unafftected by the fog. And so, they kept firing.

Hearing Xaec and Erk, Krinna ran out from behind the door before it closed and the place locked down. Speeding past Nia and dodging whatever there was to dodge, she shouted "Let's get out of here!" and did her best to follow Xaec as the fog came in.
