yuki stopped and looked around for a moment, she could hear very faint sounds breaking the silence of the water. She would make out the tone of a human [possibly female] voice, yuki looked above her and saw the casted shadow of two people on the dock. she hoped spike had heard it too, yuki began to swim to the back of the lake so she could get out.

He couldn't hear the voices but he clearly saw the shadows when yuki looked up at and fallowed her.

Yuki pulled herself up into the fresh grass and twisted her hair to get some of it dry. ' maybe this was'nt the best idea ' she thought to herself wiping away some of the water droplets on her skin, she didnt look to see if spike was coming or not she just wanted to ring her clothes out the best she could.

Spike pulls himself out of the water and moves over to her,dripping wet,and lets out a light sigh. "well....that was fun....."

Yuki didn't say anything, by the time he sat down she was ready to move on, so she only raked her hand through his wet hair and stood up. She didn't like being disturbed by people she didn't know, but this wasn't her land anyways and she had to let it pass even if it irritated her.

Spike frowns and shrugs standing up to fallow her. "guess we'll talk when we get home....." 'I hope.'

Yuki stopped at her front door, the walk home seemed longer than the walk there... maybe becuase of the silence. " theres a second bathroom down the hall from your room. it has a shower. " she said leaving her shoes which were damp near the door. Yuki turned her neck to the side popping some of the bones in her neck, " Check on sai after you get out of the shower, make sure to tell her she needs to sleep early tonight or she won't make it tomorow. " she looked over a spike with a blank face then headed up to her room.

Spike opens his mouth to speak but quickly bites his bottom lip lightly and rubs the back of his neck as she heads up the stairs he thinks of what to say and looks up at her just before she gets out of sight and talks while still rubbing his neck. "Hey yuki!....thanks for trying to snap me out of my depression....it helped."

She turned her head to look at him with a brighter expression but still unreadable " your welcome. " yuki stoped and looked back at the staircase " and... im not mad, you dont have to try to cheer me up. " she then went to her room to take a shower.

Spike nods and smiles takes his shoes off and heads up the stairs to the second bathroom.

Yuki dried her hair throughly after she was out of the shower and threw on a linen robe, she didn't like the warm fuzzy ones becuase they were too hot. She looked through her closet for some comfortable house clothes and threw them on before laying on the bed to relax for a while.

Spike stood in the shower,thinking and remembering all that has happened today taking in all the good and bad reviewing it,something he did often.

Yuki looked at her ceiling, the room had a blue-green tint to it dues to her lamp in the corner of the room, she liked to relax by herself it was peaceful. At one point she liked it too much and dicided to get the garden in the back yard and plunge deep under the ground to find the waterfall/well, but now a days she has other things to amuse her.

Spike sighs and steps out of the shower,drying off with the towel. "i'm glad we got some other cloths not to long ago...." He says to himself a he heads to his room.

After about 20 minutes or so she got up to brush through her hair, after which she headed down to the library. Yuki came out of her room just about the time spike was some steps away from his room, she caught herself staring at him and smiled slightly before walking down the stairs.
