Marco smiled at Larka. "You know me better than that Snowflake." He yawned and stretched. "It may not be night but I can still handle myself."

Kaishin sat down whilst Kirisa simply stood there and stared at the tiger. "You're free to do as you will". kaishin replied casually. "Although it is customary that you introduce yourself to the wolf clan... mostly to save yourself from being eaten". Kirisa snorted and glared at the girl. "Why is it you smell like a dragon!?" she said. "I can sense one nearby... are you one perhaps? I know that a powerful dragon has the ability to shapeshift".

Nomaki decided that if she'd gotten this far on lies that hadn't been caught, why not continue? "I apologize. I had not known there was a Wolf Pack. I was told this Forest was full of herbivores and rodents." Lie.
She turned to the Dragon and nodded her head. "I am indeed. Though I am currently stuck in this form. A mishap, you see." Lie.
Her mouth tasted funny from all the dishonesty, but she could not let her true nature be known. If her father found her, it wouldn't be an easy death. It would be long and torturous, just the way he liked them.
She bowed, but kept her eyes on them and her hand tense. "I will take my leave now."

Kirisa's eyes narrowed, she hated it when someone thought her to be a fool. "What do you take me for?" she replied. "I know you are not a dragon, you'd be already dead if you were". Her spines bristled as she approached the tigress, "You have spouted nothing but lies, now explain yourself, or do you truly wish to be incinerated?" Kirisa slammed her forelegs into the ground, causing it to shake slightly. "You see... I have this deep loathing for other dragons, as does this bird-brain gryphon back at the Den". Using one of her powerful limbs, she pinned the tiger against a tree. "So what say you girl? do you wish to come clean or shall I devour you?"
Kaishin was shocked at Kirisa's sudden change in attitude. She had explained why she held such fury towards other dragons, but he didn't think she would just lash out at a stranger. He placed a paw on the limb that held the tiger girl to the tree. "I think that's enough! I gave her our word that we wouldn't hurt her, so please Kirisa... let her go!"
Kirisa let go of the tiger and turned around to face the other direction. Why was it that she found herself unable to disobey kaishin? Never in all her life had she listened to anyone, but now... just what the hell was wrong with her!?

Nomaki's breath was violently shoved out of her as she slammed into the tree. Her hand tightened around the vial. She had to force herself not to break it in her hand. She would not die, but the other two would be free before she would. Then, they could do with her body as they wished while she watched, unable to defend herself.
Her lips receded to show sharp incisors. Her red eyes glared into the eyes of the Dragon. She could feel Vadi's tiny claws clench into the skin of her neck. This reptile was far too close for her own comfort and the comfort of Vadi.
"I have not lied. I have done nothing. Release me, Dragon!" At this point, her words held no real threat, but she would not let them know it. She couldn't do anything, but she had to stay fierce and strong. She could not be a pushover as she was under her father.
Her pupils shrunk to slits and she hissed again. Vadi was still trembling, harder now that the breath of the Dragon that held her blew onto her body, the Tigress did not doubt that Vadi could smell the Dragon. The female needed to back off. Now. She saw the hesitance in the reptile's eyes at the command of the Wolf; Nomaki hoped it was enough.

Yeah, I get it, you're an outcast. Always under attack, always coming in last Bringing up the past, no one owes you anything. I think you need a shotgun blast, a kick in the a**. So paranoid, watch your back! ††•*Todd*•††• • •
Todd felt the other's head press against the top of her head, and her left ear dipped to provide space. Her eyes fluttered open and the tomboyish vixen stared out at the sky, a bit confused and surprised by his sudden confession.. if thats what it was. It sounded more like a statement. ".. I love me too." she interposed sarcastically, the sound of his heart jumping into a higher gear making her smile somewhat. "But for now Miles, please just keep it in your pants." She teased, then tilted her head to nuzzle his chin. "I like you Miles, I really truly do.. but can I get to know you first?" She asked in all honesty. The young vixen hadn't expected this sudden turn of events upon meeting the friendly dog fox, and wasn't ready to grow up just yet or get into a life-long relationship. She hardly knew Miles for one. That and they had only met a few minutes ago in the least. What she didn't understand was that Miles had felt a sudden connection with her because he had never been with others of his kind, his species. They were both foxes, she knew that, but was slow at noticing why Miles would take a sudden liking to her. She really wanted to know about this other, she wanted to understand him.

xXAngel of ProtectionXx Tala sighed, "Im afraid you are correct...The others, "They" are the spirits of the forests gaurdians that lived before me, they are who decides what is needed to be done in order to keep balence within the forest. Long ago, I met a young wolf (that will be you TOM) his name was Betty, Betty Wolfe. I found him....Amazing....Its wasnt long before we fell in love, and we conceived a child. But things were happy for long, Betty knew I was a forest gaurdian; and he knew that if we conceived a child that it would gain both his and my power. He planned to consume it, When I learned of this I took quick action and banished him to another land where he would not be able to get to Miles....But unfortunately, they feared Miles would someday have similar thoughts and feeling and try to do something similar, so they felt I should abandone him in hopes that he wouldnt find out about the power that lies within him" Tala looked back at the ground and frowned as a stream of tears began to flow from her eyes. (flashback moment of DOOOOOOOOM XD jk jk) Leran had woken up then. He had fallen asleep on top of the den. His thoughts were still on what tala said to him. he had remembered saying something back. (thus the flashback) "Well i think its kinda to late for that. i saw the marks on him. It might be possible he learned of it allready...i don't know from who tho."

Kirisa looked back at Kaishin. "If it is oaky with you, May I return to the Den. I feel that it is the best place for me to be right now". Kaishin nodded and the dragon walked back to the den, glancing at the others before walking inside.
Kaishin apologised to the tigress, he seemed to be doing a lot of that today. "Sorry about that, it seems that she gets agitated easily". As he turned to leave he looked back at her. "You seem to be trustworthy, so if you ever need help... or a place to stay, you are welcome at the Den, just if you do show up, mention my name or you might encounter trouble".
He turned and left the tigress alone. He sensed that she would not open up to others easily, so he wouldn't push it. Once he returned he saw that Larka, Bakher and the others were still there. He looked at Larka and decided to give her an order. "Larka, would you please take a hunting party with you to scout the area and bring back some food? We're getting a little low, I'll be back around nightfall". And with that he darted off into the forest. he wasn't going to even consider telling the others what he was going to do because he knew that it was a foolish idea and that they would try to stop him, but it was something that had to be done.
He began to make his way to the human village on the outskirts of the forest.

Miles raised his head and looked down at her, he found her curiousity to be understandible, she really didnt know anything about him and vice versa. But the truth was that he really didnt have anything to tell her, "Well, ok...I really dont have alot to tell you Todd, but what do you want to know?"

{Once Laz posts, I'll have Larka go out and do that. :3} Nomaki slumped to the ground. She gasped for air and coughed. Nothing felt broken, but she was sure she was awfully bruised. Not to mention the marks she'd have from Vadi's claws that had just been removed from being inserted into her flesh. It wasn't his fault, but damn if it didn't hurt.
She glared at the Wolf from beneath her black and red striped bangs. She had no plans of going into the Wolves' Den. At this point, it would be suicidal. Besides, she could care for herself, right? Of course she could! She'd done well so far!
Once the lupine and Dragon were far out of her sight, the Tigress stood and brushed herself off with one hand while putting the vial away. She looked at her hand and saw the imprint of the glass in her naked pads.
She gently pulled Vadi from the back of her neck and cooed and whispered at him. He was still terrified, his little whiskers shaking and his eyes big with the whites showing. She tucked him around her wrist and started back towards her kill.
It was gone. She swore the worst things she could think of and kicked the tree closest to her. She worked all night for that Buck! She looked back at where the Dragon and the Wolf went. No, she couldn't go there. She took one step forward. No, she wouldn't beg! Another step.
She cursed as each foot stepped in front of the other and she slowly grew closer and closer to the Den. Finally, she stood awkwardly in the treeline and stared into the tunnel. She slowly looked around and saw Wolves, a Gryphon, and the Dragon. She swallowed hard, flattened her ears, twitched her tail, and walked further into the clearing.

(now proceeding to jack the action up, given that Inu and Angel seem to be keeping things RP related....mostly....)
He perked his ears up as he heard something far off in the forest, and raised his head; He didn't recognize it,and that piqued his curiosity. He rose to his feet, shaking debris loose from his fur and feathers. He cocked his head as the noise repeated, and stealthily stalked off towards it.
He paused as the noise repeated once again, a short ways off from the Den, and he cautiously made his way over there, weaving in and around obstacles as best he could. He hunkered down behind a log as the noise sounded again, and he perked up at the noise; it almost sounded like....a creature in pain.
He peeked over the log, and saw something lying in a grassy patch, something that was actively bleeding and twitching, something he hoped he'd never see again; a Erinyes.
He jerked back as he made the connection, and wondered why a wounded one was still here, and not back were they came from; They never stayed here when injured, if at all possible....
He heard the crunching of leaves at the last possible second, and ducked, just as the Fury leapt for his head. He felt the tips of its claws cut into his head, but he was otherwise fine, and lashed out with his beak as it landed, catching its tail in his beak. the thing bucked as he pulled it backwards off its feet, and he hit it as hard in the head as he could with a paw, following it up with a full force stomp underfoot, and felt something in its neck crack.
The Erinyes shrieked and flailed, but only with its forefeet- he must have severed a vertebrae and paralyzed it. He seized its neck with both hands, pinning it underneath him, then struck out with his beak, biting as deeply as he could into the tough hide.
The Fury convulsed underneath him as he opened its jugalar, and he pulled his beak free, keeping the lion sized creature pinned as it bled out, still struggling even as its lifeblood gushed from the wound. He spat out as much of the blood as he could; it was extremely hot, almost boiling, and it had a extremely acrid, foul taste to it.
Finally, it died, and he released it, looking it over; from crimson nose to black hided tail tip, the thing was a horror. It was the size of a small lion, and had the overall body characteristics of a wolf, but that was were all similarity ended. for one, it had a line of spines down its back that steamed faintly when alive, and its eyes burned a hateful crimson. The hide was extremely thick and hard to penetrate, but it wasn't the visible characteristics that made them so lethal.
It was their sheer bloodlust and tenacity that made them feared; Erinyes could survive a full force crossbow bolt to the gut, and continue to fight until they were literally dismembered. Even hitting the heart didn't stop them fully; they'd eventually die, but they would still be able to attack lethally for over a minute, and their oversized fangs normally carried venom, while their feet sported talons as long as Bakhers own.
He turned the Erinyes over, and spotted a long, inflamed gash along its spine, that was still leaking yellowish red blood; this had been the one whohad lured him here.
- Erinyes always travel in packs.....-
He whirled around as the other members of the Erinyes pack attacked, demonstrating their incredible stealth. there were two of them, and one went for his legs while the other leapt at him. The leaper he cracked across the face with a beak strike, throwing it to the ground with a yelp of pain, while the one who made a lunge for his vulnerable joints he dealt with by raking it across the shoulder with a paw, leaving small bleeding furrows in its hide.
The Erinyes who'd been thrown rolled upright and slashed at him with its own talons, which he dodged just in time, and knew he was in trouble- he'd killed Erinyes before, but always a single one, never a pair who fought almost as one organism, flawlessly taking advantage of each others moves.
He called a globe of fire into existence with Magik, and threw it into the faces of the two, then turned tail and fled back to the clearing, the fire slowing the two bloodthirsty monsters barely long enough for him to get up to full speed, before they began pursuit. He glanced over his shoulder as the pair shrieked their distinctive hunting cry, and he heard other cries off in the forest; there were more than just the pair out there, and they were all coming, alerted to the presence of prey by the cries of their fellows.
He burst through the underbrush into the Den clearing and took to the air as a Erinyes went for his legs, narrowly missing, which allowing him to drop down onto its back and maul it across the face and neck, taking its eyes before it struggled free.
He jumped out of reach of its blind swing, and raked his talons across its throat, and had the satisfaction of seeing blood pour from is nose and mouth before it collapsed and thrashed in the leaves and dirt. The last Erinyes was distracted by the death of its fellow long enough for him to get in a good pair of strikes before jumping clear.
Bakehr crouched, ready to attack as it circled him, its eyes full of hate.
"Get rrrreeady! morrrrre of thesssse thingsssss apprrrroach!"
as the last word left his mouth, the Fury attacked, leaping at his head, and he leapt to meet it head on.
(***Edit*** s**t, I started work on this a hour ago...guess I didn't finish it fast enough.... does it still work with what everyone else who is actually working with the others is trying to do?)

Out of nowhere the fury froze in midair. Bakehr met it and it shattered on contact. Leran jumped from his hiding spot in the trees. "Thought you might need a hand."
