I have tons of great ideas
You could go as a prison inmate(with the ball and ankle-chain) and as a joke put "Prisoner of ______(insert name of workplace here) on the back.
You can go as a twenties style gangster(along the lines of Al Capone and such)
You could even, if you have the NERVES, do what i did for my last halloween costume ever....you could be Santa Claus.
