Apparently they have cameras in people's rooms...
I just saw one where me/the guy I'm playing was in bed sleeping off an illness
And the android broke in to check on me in the middle of the night

I don't give people a chance to reject me

I'm six feet tall.
72 inches, flat...
Petting people has grown to be a habit of mine.
And I love resting my elbow on people's shoulders often.
And how they glare at me.

Oh, I don't think I've actually asked...
There could be a handful of times which I did,
but they weren't really rejected unless there was a valid reason or excuse.

When I'm rejected it's usually in the form like my most recent one a few weeks ago:
I'm walking next to a friend.
We took our last classes of the day together and we shared a friend who introduced us.
We live in the same direction and usually talk along the way.
At first we'd part after our paths forked.
After a while, I'd continue to walk with her to her lodging.
This went on for over a year.
One day she looked up at me seriously and told me,
"Would you quit following me? You're annoying me."
We haven't had more than a 10-word conversation since.
What annoyed me most was the possibility that this wasn't recent and that I've wasted a good deal of my time 'hanging out' with someone that didn't even like me to begin with.

I stopped by Borders and bought my first book by Alain de Button, "Consolations of Philosophy".
Highly recommend his work,
especially for anyone going through some sort of difficult time.
Not that mine was particularly difficult, or anything.

I wasn't heartbroken, just annoyed at the possibility of having lived an illusion.

Miltank is normal type. Ground is not effective against it. But digging DOES break its damage increase.

Explain to me, then, how my lv. 12 Geodude, used DIG on a Lvl 19 Miltank(if i recall correctly, that's what Whitney's was at? or was it 21?)

Yeah, people are mean.
I usually only deal with a few I can say are probably decent and intelligent.
Enlightened people that stand out of the plebeian masses.
A few bad apples make it through my filter...

But most of the time I keep quiet and do what I have to do.
Probably the only people I talk to nowawadays are my professors.
With the occasional acquaintance or somebody in my class that wants to ask me help right before a quiz.
I find the hypocrisy of these creatures to be somewhat amusing.
But eh...
I try not to be too unfriendly to individuals without justification.

I have complicated perspectives...
I keep myself clear of 'black-and-whites'
I have a lot of exceptions and clauses to my rules and dealings.
I like it that way...
They always get confused about it, though...
Can't blame them, that's for sure!
I'm a complicated individual...
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Nor would my close friends.

Rayan: Yeah, but I was in somewhat of a sour mood for a bit.
Probably not foaming at the mouth or barking at everyone like way back in middle school,
just floating around in a pool of liquid ennui.

Gin: I try not to worry all that much about it.
Relationships are expensive and time-consuming.
Not that they're bad,
I probably wouldn't say 'no' if a girl I liked asked me or the opportunity presented itself.
But I try to go with the flow of things...
if it happens, it happens;
if not, I'll sit back and do what I do.

Some of the greatest minds in history were single.
They made it through life with flying colors while having horrible love lives, if at all...
I'm sure I can handle it.
It's just a really minor speed bump.

@ DP: No, I checked out the effects of Rollout on Psydex's site, and it says this:

to clarify: Online dating usually ends in a different fashion than the way Chemistry and True advertise it on tv. Think about it; you're taking people who obviously are dysfunctional in dating and talking to people in person, and introducing them in a manner where they don't have to meet face to face, where they can say whatever they want about themselves, even if it isn't true.

Hm. well then there's no reason you should get a super-effective hit on a Normal type using a ground move. If it was the older games maybe it was a mistake. They used to have female Mr. Mimes and jive. (shiver)
